@catlady2015 I LOVE your image! Anyone else having food aversions already? I can not stand the smell, sight, taste or thought of chicken! All I want to eat is salmon and I'm having to limit myself so much. I feel like I don't know what to eat anymore.

Just wolfed down a snack bag of Doritos. Mmmm... fake cheese tastes so good. I really need to start planning snacks instead of being at the mercy of the vending machine.

@violetmarie61516 - I'm with you on the salmon, it tastes SO GOOD right now! especially pan seared so it gets crispy on the outside ..... but in spite of all my healthier cravings, I literally ate nitrate-free hot dogs for breakfast. They sounded so good last night I bought some and had to have some for breakfast. I hoped they'd go down ok, first bite was questionable, second bite was good, third bite I was ravenous. pregnancy is so glamorous. Otherwise, I want stuff like Fritos and queso dip...
@violetmarie61516 Love Salmon! Full of Omega 3's, so can't beat that
Still on my avocado kick. Lately, nothing really sounds good. So mostly been salads, avocados and eggs. I can tell my sense of smell is stronger, every Uber we got into yesterday made me want to gag.

I haven't really had cravings, but have had a very real aversion to French fries, and have had a hard time chewing certain kinds of lettuce- anything too coarse makes me gag.
i have been SO weird with food lately. my weekly sunday "pork roll, egg & cheese bagel" has turned into a plain bagel with cream cheese. my monday night jerk chicken burrito has turned into a chicken quesadilla. i want all the carbs.... and while i dont have an aversion to one specific food, i am definitely having aversions to LOTS of different things. either nothing sounds good ever at all.... or i'm eating like a frat boy. there is no happy medium.
Either nothing sounds very good or I am having very specific cravings, including but not limited to: pop tarts, fruit punch, Kraft Mac and Cheese, cheeseburgers, potstickers, and burritos. Notice there is nothing healthy on that list. Trying to eat in moderation, but it’s hard!
@catlady2015 I have macaroni and cheese with my lunch. I added a ton of spinach to it to make it slightly healthier. Either way, macaroni and cheese is one of the few things that seems to settle the nausea.
The only thing I craved with DD was hot dogs. I eat hot dogs maybe once a year...unless pregnant apparently. Right now all I want are hot dogs (grilled with a little char to be exact). Last week I had a serious craving for tomato soup. I ate it 4 times in 2 days. It's 100 degrees outside, but it was the only thing that sounded good. Pregnancy is weird.
I feel like I don't have cravings or aversions so much as leanings. I tend to be in the mood for salty over sweet, which is definitely not my norm, and still interested in cheese and red meat combos.
FOOD AVERSIONS: Coffee (happened 1st/last time too), soda/coke
What I'm eating? Whatever i can tolerate. Absolutely nothing sounds good...all day nausea. Today i had Ramen for lunch. Some sort of soup is plan for din..fruit for snacks. I have no appetite but force it.
I had no food aversions my first pregnancy but this one... whew. Thought of any food makes me ill. I am able to eat, but I just can't think about it, haha. Been drinking watered down Gatorade to keep hydrated. I felt horrible over the weekend and I think it was because I allowed myself to get dehydrated slightly. I am gluten intolerant and ate a real cookie, so that doesn't help with the nausea feeling either. I just need to make better choices, haha.
Also, aversions: that OP is funny to me because I cannot TOUCH sugar right now! I love sugar, but it was one of the first aversions I developed. Wonderful = burritos
Now that I’m on the Diclegis and I can eat a little more I’m all about some chips and salsa for my afternoon snack. Idk why (I mean I usually like it) but it’s like the most amazing thing I’ve ever eaten lately lol
We have this place called crazy bowls and it’s all I want. Wrap with pintos, cheddar, double tofu (you can get any protein and any grain), lettuce, avocado, and this incredible spicy pico de Gallo. I want it right now.
@flyingmombula omg that sounds amazing!!! That's the type of food I've been craving! Usually anything fresh like that with avocados

Cravings: Reeses puffs cereal, donuts, the other day it was a Big Mac! I've always been a fruits and veggies girl, so these junk food cravings are crazy!
The most normal meal I've managed lately was a thai stir fry with chicken, eggs, scallions, carrots, and rice noodles, all covered in peanut sauce and sriracha! Otherwise it's been spoonfuls of nutella and random carbs.
This could totally also go in "randoms" but one thing I'm loving about being pregnant is not arguing with DH about food. Whatever I want.... he lets me make the calls when normally he'd totally b*tch and complain!
Example: I LOVE thai food. He's "eh" about it. We get it very occasionally because it's not his favorite but this week he agreed to it Tuesdsay night. I drive all the way to my favorite spot 15 minutes away and the place is randomly CLOSED! I was devastated and *neeeeeeded* thai food anyway, so we went to a new place and it wound up being horrible. Today I said "I know we just had it two days ago but I really never scratched my thai food itch...... do you mind if we have a re-do tonight for dinner?" and he magically, and quickly, replied "no problem babe" - AMAZING!!!! If only it were that easy all the time
So.... What my pregnant self is eating: steamed thai dumplings, basil chicken (minced). Please and thank you.

And +1 for hot dogs. We have a special pop open kind locally that chars on the grill. I’m trying not to eat them everyday... but I want to do it.
