My cravings have largely swung back to my first trimester preferences - all of the fruit & vegetables, not hungry for meat, breads, or starches. Luckily I just prefer those things, and I can eat non-vegan meals.
Today's craving however is good ol' coffee ice cream. Half fill a coffee mug with vanilla ice cream, then fill with (decaf) hazelnut coffee. Mmm. I'm about to get my third mug - it's just SO GOOD. Photo in spoiler

Last pregnancy I ate salads SO MUCH! DH kept telling me that there weren't going to be any salads left. lol!
I wish I'd crave them again. I'm still eating veggies and stuff, but craving salads would be way better than craving a burger and fries or pizza. (Which I don't do much, but it's what I've been craving.)

This past weekend, at our family reunion, my cousin brought fresh veggies with a dip made of sour cream and a packet of Hidden Valley Ranch Fiesta Ranch seasoning. Omg, it hit the spot so much, I made some last night and that's what I had for dinner...and a bowl of Lucky Charms. *shrugs shoulders* Whatevs, I do what I want.
@AdorkablePixie I've been able to stomach salads this time, thank goodness! I was worried with all the food aversions I've been having, but luckily those have been working for me.
Have been thinking about a diet coke for weeks. Resisted because although I'm not super anal about what's 'safe and Ok', diet coke is generally something I want to avoid. Finally gave in today because I was at a catered lunch. One sip was enough. Ick.
@AdorkablePixie I've been craving fries and burgers like crazy! Normally, I'm a hotdog person, but all I want is hamburgers! All the time! Glad you're still eating veggies - I have to force myself to get 2-3 servings a day. Ugh!
I had really been craving falafel so DH made falafel waffles last night with rice and tzatziki! They were so delicious that there weren't any leftovers (which makes me sad, because I could've used more for lunch today)!

@mag1cbeli3ver falafel waffel?!?! Sounds amazing! And tot waffles (which I can't refer to as anything but a twat waffle). Too bad our waffle maker is in storage. Maybe in oct!
I wish I was craving salads and fruit... I've been wanting sweets constantly lately and I've been caving more than I should. I had a huge vanilla malted milkshake for the first time in 15+ years the other day. I've also been eating tons of ice cream/gelato and cookies/other baked goods. I've been on vacation so that was my excuse... but we just got home today and I already made a batch of chocolate chip cookies, which I ate warm with vanilla ice cream. Omg so good. I think I've gained 10 pounds in the last three weeks though. I'm afraid to weigh myself tomorrow.
I didn’t think I was craving anything and then it hit me... I’m eating a lot of things from my childhood. My moms sloppy Joe’s, chicken & dumplings, slurpees, cheddar ruffles, chips ahoy. My husband even offered to pick up fresh baked cookies and I just wanted chips ahoy lol. They were my fav as a kid.
@westcoastfoodie Sloppy joes & cheddar ruffles Miiiiight have to make some sloppy joe beef to lay upon tater tots for dinner tonight...topped with crushed cheddar ruffles. Mmm.

@hkom I don't love sloppy joes either. I'll eat them if they're served to me, but they just bring me right back to ye olde elementary & middle school cafeteria days.

Things not to do: eat a salad for dinner that has no protein or carbs (I was feeling very busy/lazy). Now I'm eating 2nd dinner of a veggie burger that will at least last me through the night *hopefully*.
But now all this talk about cheddar ruffles makes me want chips!
@westcoastfoodie Welp, I did it. Thanks for helping me decide tonight’s dinner
PS - Fentimans drinks are SO GOOD. Their Mandarin & Seville orange jigger is the only orange soda worth drinking. Mmm.

@morgantu That is such a smart way to incorporate lentils! I may just steal that idea!
@hkom Noooooo lol! They're so good! I don't do that Manwhich crap though unless I'm desperate. Homemade from scratch joes for life!

The carb cravings have been kicking in. I have really been into cinnamon graham crackers dipped in milk after supper in the evenings.
I've been eating a lot of fruit for snacks at work which helps when I'm craving sweets. Yogurt has helped that too.
