@pourmeamocktail Yup I had the 2nd dose of steroids this morning, so if I can not deliver till tomorrow morning those will take full effect. Things are looking pretty optimistic for that because I still don't seem to be in labor at all. So trying to first make it that milestone, and then a day at a time!
@iba34 That's great that you're hopefully getting time for both steroid shots. Hope you can keep them in for at least a few more days. Hang in there. I'm sorry you are stuck in the hospital until their birth but I hope you're there for awhile!

Update- Passed the GTT again. They still want me to watch my carbs and sugar intake and up my protein. And I'm about 90% sure they are going to do another US next week and I'll ask more questions then about any concerns they might have because of the divergence from the growth curve they had been on.
Had an impromptu visit with my doctor yesterday because the previous 2 mornings I woke up with a good amount of swelling in my hands and feet. She sent me home with a lovely jug to collect my urine for 24 hours. She checked her heart rate and she sounds good, movement is normal. I asked about worse case scenario and she said bed rest and delivery at 37 weeks. Took my collection to the lab today and before I even made it home they called and said I am definitely preeclampsia so she put me on bed rest and wants to see me on Monday to put me on the monitor and see where to go from here. I will be 32 weeks tomorrow, so it's a little scary. Praying the bed rest helps keep her cooking a little longer. My husband is a worry wart, so I'm pretty sure this news is harder on him than it is me.
@cab1209 Sorry for the diagnosis. Fingers crossed you can maybe get some meds to keep blood pressure down and keep baby in. 37 weeks isn't the worst!

@knitknitread I'm glad that you don't have GD! @cab1209 That's really good that you went to the doctor! I hope the rest of your pregnancy is uneventful and baby can bake at least to 37w.

@cab1209 I’m glad you went to see your dr. Keeping you in my thoughts and hope you make it to 37 weeks! Bed rest can be tough, let us know if you want any show or book recommendations!
Update: my water broke on Wed. 8/1 at 33w1d. I stayed in the hospital and at 34w0d (early Tues. morning) they started inducing me with a Foley bulb followed by Pitocin. My twins were born Wed. morning 8/8 about 30 hours after the induction started! Lola was 4 lbs. 5 oz. and Phoebe was 5 lbs. 9 oz. - the growth discordance was a big surprise because they'd been estimated by ultrasound to be about the same weight. Both are now in the NICU, but their issues are pretty standard for being born at 34 weeks and we expect to have them home in a week or two!
@iba34 Congrats, and glad they're healthy if just a bit young. My son was a 35 weeker. The NICU life isn't easy, but just a couple weeks is such a blur later. Hooray for babies!

@iba34 Congratulations!! So glad your girls arrived safely and hope their time in the NICU is smooth and flies by! @cab1209 Pre-E can be scary, I'm glad you were seen and it was caught early! Hope for a long boring bedrest so baby can keep cooking! (I know that can be really rough, but better than further complications!)
