  • Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD: 1

WAYDTGKU: PNV, VitD, OPKs, CM, BBT, HIO, debating cutting coffee out and decreasing gluten.

R/R: Well officially CD1, cramping but just glad to finally jump back in after lots of BFNs and WFAF to arrive. Typically my cycles are 30-32 days, but I did have one other 38 day cycle after the 2nd month after being off BCPs.

CS/Q: Temped dropped today and yesterday. I learned my lesson last month with BBT, this month I'll wait for the temp rise to jump over to TWW, instead of making the move based on OPKs.
  • Month/Cycle: 4/3

    CD: 13

    WAYDTGKU: HIO, PNVs, CM

R/R: My husband is really excited this cycle, so hopefully we'll be able to have good timing! I've had pretty irregular cycles since coming off the pill end of April (38 days and 45 days), so we'll see what happens this cycle.

    CS/Q: Nothing at the moment!
  • All stats official today  :(

    Month/Cycle:
    13/10

    CD: 1

WAYDTGKU: All the same as last month. Not sure what more I can do.

R/R: I got a new office chair and i love it. But i may injure myself today. My dress is silky and the chair is fabric so everytime I try to scoot, I practically slide right off! Also, I have an appt with my OB next week to sort out my LP cramping. I think it will do me good to talk to him about all this TTCAL stuff.

    CS/Q: Nothing worth seeing.
  • @LJMoon6 Glad you got the clarification, and very glad you took the mental health day to get back on track :)

    @jessg2223 Sorry for CD1 :(

@prpl11butterfly I LOL'd at your office chair description :D Keep us posted on the OB visit info - hopefully there's a lot of information to be gained there.

    Month/Cycle: 4/3
    CD: 8
WAYDTGKU: PNV, BD, starting OPKs on CD12
R/R: I didn't have to go in to cover my coworker's shift, yay! Got to sleep in, took the dog for a hike and now just lounging around before heading in for work (evening shift today). Hubs gets home 1 week from today - I do miss him but so far am doing well keeping myself occupied. The weekend will be a little tougher since I'll have more down time but I'm going to plan some productivity and some fun stuff too.
  • @Swiftlet My husband travels every now and then and I miss him the whole time and when he gets back I realized how much "me time" I really got while he was away. Little things like ate what I want vs what WE wanted and sat in the backyard with the dogs reading for longer than usual. It's always good to have him back but the "me time" was nice too :)

@prpl11butterfly Isn't it funny how little things like a new office chair can brighten our day? I got a new one about a year ago and spent a solid week rolling around the office because it rolled better than the last  ;) Also, sorry you're back here today.

    Month/Cycle: 111/7

    CD: 11

WAYDTGKU: Benched for now but trying a new app to help achieve an "ideal cycle" for when I get unbenched

R/R: I brought this up in the TTCAL board - has anyone heard of the Conceivable app? It's like FF in that it tracks your cycle but also has a managed service (they look at your cycle and consult what's normal and what's out of the ordinary) plus eastern medicine herbs to help you get to an "ideal cycle", meaning 28 days, ov on CD 14, no cramps, healthy 4 day flow, etc etc. It's expensive but I'm out of ideas and conventional medicine has let me down. Anyway, was just interested to hear if anyone else had tried it.

    CS/Q: Nah

  • Month/Cycle: 13 / 11

    CD: 3

WAYDTGKU: Temping, FF, OPKs, Pre-Seed, Vitex, Red Raspberry Leaf tea, fertility yoga - no Clomid this cycle

R/R: Scheduled our initial appt with an RE, but it's month away. Not sure if this cycle while we wait will even be ovulatory without Clomid - starting to get pessimistic obviously.  I'm excited, but also terrified of what we might learn from the RE appt. Trying to just take my mind off it all and pouring myself into house projects instead.

    CS/Q: nope
  • Month/Cycle: 5/5

    CD: 1

    WAYDTGKU: PNV, temping, FF/Ovia/Kindara, SMEP

R/R: I knew AF was coming for the last few days and it was hitting me pretty hard. But now that it's here, I'm starting to feel optimistic again, which I hope I can hold on to. It also doesn't hurt that CD1 means I'm planning to bust open some rosé tonight, which is definitely one of my favorite things about summer

    CS/Q: not at the moment
  • @LJMoon6 FX for you for your clomid cycle. Glad you were able to enjoy your day off. We all need a mental health day every once in a while.
@jessg2223 sorry for CD1. TTC is all about trial and error - I've since learned that I don't ever leave WTO because I don't ovulate. Definitely used to hop on over there as soon as I got my +OPK (which was probably also a false positive). You live and learn though! I found the learning curve when starting to track BBT was pretty steep. There is still so much I don't know! If you're interested, https://fertilityfriday.com/ has some really awesome podcasts for tracking BBT (and just about every other topic under the sun). I've been promoting it a lot lately because I've found it super helpful.
@steph11417 that's so cute that YH is so excited. I love that!
@prpl11butterfly I had a little chuckle at the visual of you sliding off your chair. Sorry it's officially CD1 for you though, *hugs*.
@swiftlet yay for not having to go in this morning after all.
@nomangos23 I haven't heard of that app but I want to look it up just out of curiosity. That's pretty cool about the managed aspect of it.
@chickenlady8 ah, you're in the an-o club too? At least you have your appt with the RE to look forward to.
@allegram16 I like your optimism. Sorry about CD1. There's a bunch of you in the same boat. Do you live in the US? The reason I ask is because I'm Canadian and my friend is in Maine right now and told me there's such a thing as rose in a bag like Capri Sun juice pouch. Like, I'm not even drinking much these days because of TTC but OMG, that would be life-changing for me (probably not in a good way, lol). We are so deprived north of the border.

    WAYDTGKU: So many things

R/R: Rave: My MIL gave us tomato plants a few weeks ago but we've been so busy with the house we hadn't had a chance to plant them yet. I finally got them planted last night and I'm so excited. It's probably too late in the season to yield any fruit but I couldn't just leave them in the pot forever.
Rant in spoiler because it's long and I'm grumpy. Apologies in advance (I'm just venting so no need to read it)
SO's disorganized, immature cousin knew months ago that he was being evicted by his landlord because her cousin was moving up here from Mexico but of course he did nothing about it. Didn't get a new place lined up in time so doesn't get in until the 15th. Was supposed to have his friends help him move everything to their Grandmother's place yesterday... but he didn't pick up the moving truck until 5pm, then his "friends" never showed up so he had to call my SO, BIL and another cousin to bail him out as usual. They didn't start loading until after 9pm because he hadn't finished packing yet and he didn't even get home until 2am. What does this have to do with TTC? I was already mad at him because he has a pulled hamstring and is supposed to be taking it easy but he still insists on playing softball 2x a week, has another big tournament coming up this weekend and now moving all his cousin's crap means he's pretty much useless by the time he gets home from work. We have so many things to do around the house and he already told me it was either working on the house or attempting to HIO... obviously I picked the latter but that just means it feels like nothing gets done and now we probably won't be able to BD for a while either. I shouldn't be so grumpy because I'm persistently an-ovulatory so I'm trying to tell myself that HIO wouldn't matter anyway but I'm upset that he won't put his own health and safety first and he doesn't seem to get how it affects me too.
Just comes down to feeling like I put so much into TTC and in the end, I'm frustrated with my own body not cooperating and I think maybe I'm taking some of it out on him.

  • @kiki047 I do live in the US and rose in a bag sounds amazing! I haven't seen that before, but I'm actually going to Maine in a few weeks so I will definitely have to check it out. I'm sorry about the situation with your SO and his cousin. That sounds super frustrating and like added stress that neither of you needs
  • @kiki047 First of all, my baby sister pulled that exact. same. thing. We all showed up to move her one Saturday and she was 1) still asleep and 2) hadn't packed anything. My husband was so furious he just started grabbing stuff and throwing it in boxes and throwing boxes into the back of his truck. It was a mess! But eventually it all settled down and she hired movers the next time

Second, I SO get the hub-snub. The first time my DH prioritized other things over TTC (aka didn't want to HIO) I was crushed. I eventually just started telling him before hand (because men needs LOTS of time to process things) we need to HIO starting this day for x numbers of days. I know it's even harder for you because your cycles have been wonky. I know you've had a work up, but what does the doc say? I can imagine constantly trying to HIO with no end in sight would put a strain on both of you. Have you ever had a positive OPK before?

  • @allegram16 I am the type of drinker who might have 2 glasses of wine when friends are over then nothing for 2 months. Or I sometimes sneak some into the movie theatre in a water bottle, lol. Those little pouches are perfect for that! https://electricrose.co/

@nomangos23 I told him that if they keep enabling him, he’s just going to keep taking advantage of them. It’s totally something my little brother would do too. He slept through my entire move 3 weeks ago, so left all the heavy lifting to my 63 year old dad and my uncle with the bad back. Grrrr. As for the hubs, he knows in advance but he’s not good at saying no to other people so he will come home tired or crippled and he will try to rally but we have a lot of non finishers that way.
I had an initial workup done by my GP, didn’t show anything conclusive. The U/S showed a large fibroid and ovarian cysts and based on my other symptoms (jagged temps, irregular/an-o cycles, mood disorders, difficulty losing weight) he suspects PCOS. I have turned OPKs and my last cycle I had all the signs of ovulation but no sustained temp rise. This cycle so far I’ve had no EWCM and my OPKs have been inconclusive. I read that women with PCOS can’t trust the results because the hormonal imbalances can mess with LH levels. My doc referred me to an OBGYN specialist at one of the best hospitals in the city so we’ll see what he has to say tomorrow.

@kiki047 - uuuuuuuuugh I'd be soooooooo irritated to say the least. I'm a hyper-organized, orderly person (perhaps borderline control-freak) and have a hard time dealing with messes like that. And then when that mess creeps into your personal life? I can feel my blood pressure rise for you.

Sounds like you need some rose in a bag, girl.

EDIT: Just saw your reply to @nomangos23 re: your latest tests, etc. FX for you specialist visit today. Didn't know all that background about your TTC journey. Here, have another?

  • @kiki047 Yes!! Good luck today! Keep us updated. Also, if they haven't already, I'd recommend getting your thyroid checked.

  • @kiki047 hope your appointment went/goes well!
