@hkom the progesterone helping you sleep would be a nice side effect! Bonus for you even if it's just exhaustion though, at least you sleep better last night. Hopefully it continues and becomes your normal.
@rosebud332 Guurrrrlll, I've been wearing my rings on a necklace for a couple of months already. I think as soon as it started getting permanently hot/summery.
@hkom The progesterone really helped me to sleep. I would get so drowsy that I was terrified that if DS woke up and needed something, I would sleep right through it. Also, are you taking stool softener with it? If not, I highly recommend it. That stuff really binds you up...
@Jens_Hoes sizing up the diamond is a FANTASTIC ideas! I should tell H that if I need to be resized again this time we should just get me new, bigger ones
@katy0990 I was actually going to ask about stool softener! Did you have the suppositories too? I didn't know that would be a side effect. I haven't had too much trouble yet, but I'm slightly terrified to poop because I feel like it's going to pop my pessary right off! Honestly that's probably not going to happen, but it still freaks me out. Which kind did you use?
@hkom I did not have to do the suppositories. Mine was in pill form. I took the generic for colace. I took 3 of the capsules at bedtime and it realy helped!
@katy0990 Thanks! Doc said the side effects would be really muted since it's so localized and not going through my whole body, but I still expect some.
@texas_t I didn't even think about it until Monday evening and I had to go and I was just like.... omfg how am I going to do this?! I was still really sore at that time too so that didn't help the situation. I didn't think I would be this scared of using the bathroom until after I had the baby!
@tunnel I am having the exact same problem - waking up around 3 a.m. every morning and not being able to go back to sleep! It's really annoying and like @scaredunprepared , I've always loved sleep. Now, I usually try to at least lay in bed and fall back asleep, but it doesn't take long before my hips are sore and I just have to get up. You'd think I'd use that time to be productive, but no! Ha!

My SPD is getting worse as of last night, but I think that's because my bump is going through a major growth spurt. I am suddenly feeling huge, y'all and I'm just barely over halfway, so uh, lots left to grow!
@temmetime Sorry that you are dealing with that! My RLPs are just kind of random and not constant.
@mag1cbeli3ver My hips are starting to get sore too! What's reallllly helped is the $15 wedge pillow I bought. I just stick a tiny bit of it under the side of my belly for the whole night to support the bump, and the pain has subsided. If I push it too far under it's uncomfortable, so it's only an inch or two of the pillow actually providing support, lol.
My newest symptom happened this morning. My nipples have been sensitive since the beginning (like to the touch, not any other time and not while wearing bras or anything), but this morning they were suddenly on fire. Like super warm and felt like someone was stabbing them with small needles. It lasted about 10 minutes and has been fine since. Super weird!
So I griped before about abdominal pain after stretching with heavy bags to get in the car one day. 10 days later it’s aggravated still/again, so I finally called my OB. Turns out she is pretty confident I actually pulled a muscle in my oblique abdominal muscles. Given the stretch from pregnancy and a growing belly, it takes longer to heal. I’m supposed to limit significant lifting/stretching for the next few weeks. It all seems so silly, but it actually does hurt with lifting or pressing on it.
@Katzalia Ouch! I pulled a lower abdominal muscle in college playing volleyball and it was so painful and took forever to go away! I can't imagine having that during pregnancy. I hope it heals quickly for you!
Thanks @hkom and @katy0990 . I totally aggravated it with too much lifting (kid + nieces) yesterday. Hopefully with a little rest and ice it will get quickly back to the low grade annoyance it was the past week.
Downside = pulled abdominal muscle Upside = at least I saved a nice pair of shoes from the flooding?
I definitely feel like baby is going through a huge growth spurt this week. All I want to do is eat and sleep, and my stomach is just sore from it growing quick. At my 20 week u/s today it was confirmed that he’s sitting ON my bladder and having a field day with it! I knew it, but man I wish he’d move, I almost pee myself like 5x a day!
Other than that, I’m HOT- like, I know it’s the middle of summer but I swear my hormones are worse this week or something, it’s been bad! Headaches have been bad too, and heartburn is outrageous. I forgot to ask my doctor for meds at my appointment today too... dang it! My boobs/nipples have been crazy sensitive this week too. So glad to be at the halfway point. Come on, December!
@orangecrush29 I’m sorry you are hot. With ds2 I was so hot and had to have the ac blasting. He was born in July, so I wasn’t pregnant most of the summer. With ds3 now I’m not hot at all, even in the middle of the summer. It’s so weird how pregnancies are all different. Stay cool!
