32 week appointment tomorrow morning, with an ultrasound to check on the growth of the babies. My last growth scan was at 28 weeks and they were both right above the 50th percentile, so I'm really hoping the trend continues...Baby B has a cord issue that can cause growth restriction in later pregnancy.
Our appointment after the ultrasound is with a midwife that I met once before and really liked, but my husband hasn't met, so I'm looking forward to him getting a sense of her as well.
Ultrasound and checkup with the doc on Friday. I’m excited and nervous...I think she’s measuring big and I have GD so I think they may want me to schedule a (repeat) c-section. We’ll see what they say...
32+1 went in for my weekly BPP and ultrasound and baby failed BPP. then contractions started 3 min apart. I have been admitted and got babys first lung steroid shot..now just waiting to see what happens. Cervix is closed but soft.
@ellbeedee. What a whirlwind! Hang in there, mama. Sounds like you are in good hands, and they are making every effort to take good care of both you and baby. You got this! ❤❤❤
@ellbeedee Crossing fingers for you momma! I know you expected early, but hoping you can get at least a couple of days more to give steroids time.

I had my 32 (not quite) appointment today. I was feeling crappy last week, exhausted, digestive issues, just not myself. This week has started much better. I wonder if I caught a bug. I saw one of the doctors that I really like, specifically because I really like her nurse. I told her my concerns about not feeling like myself, my cramping, my anxiety about a really slow weight gain (note: this has never been a thing in my life, I struggle with my weight) and the nurse was so fantastic. She listened, gave some advice and suggestions as well as knowledge. I was nervous after my fall that I was having contractions per the monitor and I had no idea. She explained to me the contractions that really matter, etc.
The doctor was great as well. My belly is measuring right on track, heartbeat was great, she passes all her kick counts etc. The doctor said she didn't think I needed to do it instantly, but is having me do a growth ultrasound at my next appointment in two weeks. So I am thankful all went well and I feel like I got a lot of questions answered.
My anxiety the last two weeks has been creeping back in and I have got to chill.
Appt went well! I met with the NP this time and we chatted for so long. I told her she would die at how quickly my NYC appts went.
She told me to keep doing everything I’m doing but encouraged more sex. 3x / week for prostaglandins to help ripen my cervix. That sounds like so much work, lol.
32 week appointment went great. Both babies are ~4.5 lbs (I guess that's why my belly feels so freaking heavy - almost 9 lbs of baby in there already!), and both are head-down. They mostly have been throughout the pregnancy but before it was early enough that I was trying not to pin too much hope on their positioning.
@ellbeedee crossing my fingers that everything is ok!
Went in today to get checked for a vaginal infection that didn't seem to want to clear out with the canesten, to find out that the infection had cleared out but I'm allergic to the canesten, and that's what's making me so uncomfortable. I have used canesten so many times before I never even would have thought that you could develop a reaction to it. The more you know.
I'm back again. I was discharged yesterday only to be brought back in again today. 32+3 admitted for another failed BPP and slight fetal anemia. Repeating ultrasound in the morning and csection right away if it looks poor again.... otherwise they will keep me til Friday and section then. Sounds like I'm not leaving until baby is out. Thank you for all the well wishes I will update in the morning! Baby no name is coming!
@ellbeedee Good luck! So glad you got those shots, hopefully that helps out baby. Glad they're keeping a close eye on you both even though being stuck inside hospital isn't much fun.

Had my 34+3 appointment today. All is good. Baby has dropped. Next ultrasound at 37 weeks to work out his size since he's going to be too big for a v birth. So scheduled C-section about Aug 27th is what it's looking like since he is measuring a month ahead. Got the TDAP vaccine at this one. Tip: keep your arm totally relaxed and it won't hurt. I was slightly sore for maybe five minutes but that was it. If you tense up then it hurts more. My poor mother was hurting for days when she got hers. Hormones are through the roof! Hubby is on a work trip this weekend cleaning up an oil spill.... I started bawling when i found out he had to go for four nights... Got so worked up i threw up too. Keep tearing up and miss him a ton.
@fftm9318 I relaxed my arm when I got my shot and my arm was still sore for a couple days. @ellbeedee Good luck today! Thinking of you.

Ultrasound went well, all is normal and she’s not measuring big! (Checked because of my GD). And she’s head down finally! She’d been breach all along so that’s exciting!
My arm was totally relaxed (I have no fear around needles and don’t find injections painful, so tensing is not an issue). but my arm was sore for days with any pressure (like trying to sleep on my left side!!)

After this I start weekly biophysical profiles!
I’m guessing I’ll be measuring ahead still and it’ll probably be more than a week ahead this time. We’ll see.
