Congrats @brookepdavis it’s always so comforting to have a good ultrasound. Had one today at six weeks and we also saw a heartbeat which made me feel a lot better! Definitely looking forward to my eight week one!
1. How many weeks are you? Have you passed any milestones? 6w, not yet. None of mine started naturally so I am not sure how to consider being past a milestone. I think once I see normal growth and a health HB I will be good
2. How are you feeling? Mentally and physically? Feeling very optimistic, hoping that doesn’t get crushed soon. Physically I feel fine, have never had strong symptoms besides a crazy strong/drippy/sneezy nose and my boobs are bigger. DH said my hair looks good/ better than normal LOL 3. Any appointment updates? my betas doubled again and finally passed 2000 so I got the all clear to schedule my 6w ultrasound which will be tomorrow. So excited and very very nervous edit: measuring a few days behind at 5w2d (vs 6.1) but that lines up better with when I think I ovulated so I’m not stressed. Good looking yolk sac and a follow up next week sometime.
4. Rants/Raves/Questions? Not really. Just going to be a really tough morning at work until I get to hopefully go see a heartbeat. After that I’ll be switching to a new OB and I can’t wait. I also have a follow up with my hematologist on Tuesday to see how the lovenox shots are going. 5. GTKY: What’s your favorite zoo animal? I love the red pandas! They are so cute!!
@Allycat11, so sorry you have to deal with that worrying & fingers crossed for the follow up!
Glad to see a lot of other good news on here too!

Sono went really well yesterday! Bean is measured 6w4d which isn’t too far off from my LMP. We saw the heartbeat but didn’t hear it because their machine didn’t have sound. But it was a strong 134! I’m being weaned from my progesterone supplement and as long as my numbers are good next Friday I will be graduating from the RE!
1. How many weeks are you? Have you passed any milestones?
Just found out, so somewhere between 3 1/2 and 4 weeks. I ovulated early so who knows. Last pregnancy I lost at 4w 2d, so we aren’t there yet. I did just pass what would have been my due date on 7/17.
2. How are you feeling? Mentally and physically?
Obviously not feeling very much at all physically. But mentally I just cannot accept it until I get the next beta and see progress. Last one was 105 on Friday.
3. Any appointment updates?
Just a repeat beta and progesterone on Monday. I plan on not making a prenatal appointment until I can feel more sure of things. I don’t want to have to call to cancel.
4. Rants/Raves/Questions?
We are renovating our kitchen and it is going well. I am glad it is nearly finished. Put up some huge cabinet school today and I cannot wait to move my things in.
5. GTKY: What’s your favorite zoo animal?
Zebras or giraffes- they are so interestingly patterned!
1. How many weeks are you? Have you passed any milestones?
7w. It's going to take me awhile to get to my milestone. My daughter was still born at 28 weeks.
2. How are you feeling? Mentally and physically?
This week has been a nauseous one for sure!
3. Any appointment updates?
Still waiting for August 3rd.
4. Rants/Raves/Questions?
We are thinking of writing a letter to announce this little one after our first ultrasound. We aren't on social media anymore. I want to explain how we are still grieving our daughter but also hopeful. No one in our family has been PAL so I want to explain that as well.
5. GTKY: What’s your favorite zoo animal?
Otters and polar bears! They are so fun to watch swim.
1. 5 weeks, 4 days. I have passed my loss milestone from February. And my HCG levels are doubling. 2. Mentally, I’m anxious. And since my husband is equally as anxious, I don’t feel like I can let it out to him because I don’t want to worry him anymore than he already is. Physically, just tired. And so bloated. 3. I have my first OB appointment on Friday! 4. I went to Urgent Care yesterday because I thought I had a UTI. They did a quick test and said there is bacteria so they gave me an anitbiotic. But today I don’t feel any symptoms of a UTI. I REALLY don’t want to take antibiotics in my first trimester so I’m waiting til tomorrow to call my OB. WWYD??? Keep taking the antibiotics and stress about possible side effects or wait and see if the UTI is still detectable at my appt on Friday? 5. Gorillas! We have a baby gorilla at our zoo whom I adore.
@kimbaby2due I second the above. I had a UTI my first pregnancy and was put on a couple antibiotics because the first one wasn’t effective. The only symptom I had was frequent urination, so I actually did not notice anything wrong! The risk of UTI causing problems is far higher than the risk of antibiotics. Surprisingly, very few antibiotics are contraindicated in pregnancy, although providers do like to limit the use of them if possible.
@myjessesgirl@3rdtimecharm& thanks for the advice and reassurance. I’m taking the antibiotics and calling my OB tomorrow to be sure he’s ok with the antibiotics.
1. How many weeks are you? Have you passed any milestones?
I'm 5 weeks 2 days. I haven't passed any milestones yet. I will need to wait another month for that.
2. How are you feeling? Mentally and physically?
Mentally, I'm feeling okay, I'm still nervous and worried that every little thing I feel could mean something bad. Physically, I'm super tired and my boobs are so sore. Nausea comes and goes, but is very mild. I've felt some mild cramping/dull ache, but overall I'm feeling good. I've been able to keep running without any pain/cramping so that is encouraging.
3. Any appointment updates?
I have my first appointment on Wednesday to check my TSH levels due to subclincal hypothyroidism. I'm hoping my numbers are good.
4. Rants/Raves/Questions?
Living in a small town sucks for medical care! The doctor didn't want to see me until 10 weeks, but I insisted on being seen earlier due to my typically high TSH levels. There is only 1 OBGYN clinic where I live and It sucks when you can't shop around for a good doctor without driving over an hour.
