I’ve been a runner for a few years but knocked it down to just elliptical for now.. until i hear the heartbeat again next week at 12weeks ! Might try to run again if my body doesn’t hate me haha. Also lifting weights still!
I got in my longest run since pre-BFP today! A bit slower than before, but I hit the distance. Feeling super tired afterwards, so I’ll probably take it easy tomorrow, but it was my fourth run this week. Without trying to jinx anything, here’s hoping this is my transition into second trimester!
I seriously slacked this week. I’m hoping a good night of rest helps me get some good energy back tomorrow. I got one good spin class in but that’s it. I aimed for bootcamp yesterday but my joints were aching pretty badly so that was a no.
Anyone else doing Tone It Up? I've been following their workouts and nutrition plan both before and during pregnancy. It's mainly weight lifting and strength training. I haven't had to modify yet and thankfully, I've had enough energy to keep it up! I'm great with working out consistently, my struggle is with eating too much, especially on the weekends! Its hard not using pregnancy as an excuse to pig out, and I'm not even showing yet!
