  • @offtoneverland @ftm_jen Those are the bags I was given. They lasted until DS was about 6 months old.

  • what color do stretch marks start off as? i noticed a bunch of light colored ones that i don’t recognize, but i thought they started red/pink then faded to light? ugh if i’m getting new stretch marks already, i’m doomed for the rest of this pregnancy.
  • Bottle sterilizer- honestly, I never even did that. I think I boiled bottle parts a few times in the beginning and then never did it again. And my dd was a premie. Cleaned in hot, soapy water and scrub off any residue, but an actual sterilizer seems unnecessary to me, personally.

Last time my stretch marks started white, turned purple, then after birth turned back white. I thought my purple stretched pregnant boobs were so gross and would never go away, but they did. So weird.

:'( eta- yep, they’re a whole bunch of new ones. i just ran my finger over them and they all have a pitted feel. the old ones feel pretty flush.  :s
  • I never used our bottle sterilizer, but loved those microwave bags (I think we had medela brand)
  • Anyone have bleeding (brown discharge/clots) after a transvaginal ultrasound. Had it done yesterday to check up on my placenta, I'm 22 weeks, and today had brown bleeding with clots. Called and my provider isnt concerned but this is going on 7 hours and the discharge is still coming, no more clots but hard not to worry.
  • @jkmartin723 No experience with transvaginal ultrasound and spotting, but with my last pregnancy I would get brown spotting when my obgyn started checking my cervix at appointments for dialation (I don’t know when the checks started, but It was in the 3rd trimester for sure). I would spot for like 24hrs after. My doctor wasn’t concerned either.
  • @BabyBoyH92016 Thanks so much. Any experience is helpful.
  • @jkmartin723 brown spotting after a trans vag is pretty normal. The probe prodding around on soft tissue can cause some trauma. Unless it’s full on bleeding where you need a pad, a little spotting is expected.
