How far along are you? How big is baby? I'm 8w4d ( I had to check because I didn't remember)

How many kids do you already have? Ages? Ellery turns 5 today! WHAT? How the hell did that happen? Charlotte is 3.

How are your other kids doing this week? They are doing great. Charlotte is in the tough 3 stage where she's impossible to reason with and has to do everything on her terms. I know it's a phase and she'll grow out of it soon so in the meantime I'm letting her be ridiculous and giving her absolutely no reaction.

Rants/Raves? Concerns about adding another tiny human to the mix? We are focusing really hard on paying off debt right now. We just got the Dave Ramsey book and we are going all in on it. I think we'll be able to get the debt down by a lot if we stay focused. Our biggest concern is money right now but once we have some debt paid down we will be ok.

GTKY: What is your favorite cookout/ bbq food? All I want is a plateful of hot dos right now!

How far along are you? How big is baby? 8w1d. Baby's a pistachio.

How many kids do you already have? Ages? We have two - DS will be turning 4 in November and DD is 2.

How are your other kids doing this week? They're doing great. They are best friends and really adore each other. We have so much fun listening to them play (and fight). They're just so different but get along so well.

Rants/Raves? Concerns about adding another tiny human to the mix? Concerns are mostly financial. We will have a year of poverty when all three are in daycare and I'm dreading it. Once DS starts kindergarten, we'll be back on track, but it's going to be really hard to reign in my casual spending...

GTKY: What is your favorite cookout/ bbq food? Ribs. And smoked salmon. And pretty much all BBQ.

How far along are you? How big is baby? 9 weeks and some days (I'll be 10 weeks on Friday so ... 9 weeks 5 days?) Baby is a cherry

How many kids do you already have? Ages? Our son will be 17 months on Friday!

How are your other kids doing this week? Pretty good actually. He's cutting 2 new teeth, which has been pretty tough for him, but he has all this emerging language that I love hearing. He just talks and talks and talks. I can't believe how big he is.

Rants/Raves? Concerns about adding another tiny human to the mix? I'm just worried about the newborn days. With him, I slept whenever he napped. With this one I won't be able to do that because I'll have DS to handle. I remember feeling so overwhelmed and exhausted, even being able to sleep whenever he slept, so I'm not sure how I'll manage with two. And yet, as with everything about being a mom, I know I'll just find a way to make it work!

GTKY: What is your favorite cookout/ bbq food? Truly depends on the day. Right now I'd love a good saucy pulled pork sandwich with some creamy coleslaw on it.

He’s good but has a MEGA bad diaper rash (raw skin ugh) poor little guy. We are trying potty training but he is resisting

Rants/Raves? Concerns about adding another tiny human to the mix? Concerned as we live in a 2 bedroom apt in Brooklyn but I’m already getting creative with moving the future around. We accidentally fell in to co sleeping with luca meaning we let him in once and now it’s every night. Getting him a new big boy bed and hoping it will help.

GTKY: What is your favorite cookout/ bbq food? Hot dogs lol I also make a bbq lemon chicken that is totally bangin!

8 weeks, raspberry.

How many kids do you already have? Ages?

DS is 3 and DD is 1

How are your other kids doing this week?

DS is a raging threenager and DH and I are about to wave the white flag between potty training failures and discipline missteps. When will it end?! Of course, my DD is a cherub except she's really mobile now and getting into everything so we've had to step up our baby-proofing game again.

Rants/Raves? Concerns about adding another tiny human to the mix?

I have 2 concerns:

1. Car seats, how are we going to fit three car seats in our cars?!

2. Sleeping arrangements. Currently DS and DD share the second upstairs bedroom (DH and I are in the upstairs master). LO will probably be in our room the first 6-9 months like DS and DD were, but I don't think DS will be old enough to be downstairs in his own room for at least a couple more years. Ah, first-world problems I suppose.

Also, my milk supply has gone way down due to pregnancy hormones so I'm worried DD's and my BFing relationship may be cut shorter than anticipated. I really wanted to go at least 20 months like I did with DS.

GTKY: What is your favorite cookout/ bbq food?

Any meat with Kinder's (a local BBQ sauce brand) slathered all over it. I could go for a heaping plate of saucy pork ribs right now. Mmmmm.

How are your other kids doing this week? They both have summer colds which is rough. We're basically just surviving right now.

Rants/Raves? Concerns about adding another tiny human to the mix? Concerns about daycare costs, but that's about it.

GTKY: What is your favorite cookout/ bbq food? Right now, none. Normally I'm all about the meats.

Good! DS is crazy, he never stops and is constantly getting into things.

I'm just nervous about having 3 kids and going to nursing school. DD will be in kindergarten this fall and DS will be going to daycare 3X a week so that will help.

@danixbanani24 I'm sure you already know all the diaper rash tricks but I love triple paste if you haven't tried it. My oldest would get real bad diaper rash and baking soda baths and triple paste were the only things that helped her.

How are your other kids doing this week? My kids are constantly fighting and arguing. They run at one speed and it is exhausting.
Rants/Raves? Concerns about adding another tiny human to the mix? Im nervous about going back into the newborn stage of not sleeping and constant feedings and diapers. But mostly the sleeping. And I was unable to breast feed by two boys. The pumping is almost unbearable. Really hoping it works out this time around.

@disneybaby84 ahh I forgot your guy was getting his tubes!! How's his recovery been so far? Fingers crossed he sleeps like a log tonight. When DS got his, literally within a few days it was evident that he could hear new sounds - I don't think he realized that his xylophone made noises until the day after he got his tubes in. It took a while for his speech to pick up, but seeing his face light up when he heard those sounds just made my heart soar. Thinking about you guys

3. We have 2 girls that are 7 and 5 and a little boy who is 19 months.

How are your other kids doing this week?

They're doing great. They have no idea yet about the baby, so I'm excited to tell them in a few weeks. They do know I'm not feeling the greatest though.

Rants/Raves? Concerns about adding another tiny human to the mix?

Yes, it is concerning about adding baby #4. That's a lot of people to take care of. My biggest concern is finally having to sell my car for a bigger vehicle. We're swinging 3, but 4 is a no go. We have Yukon but I'm debating a van for me.

They're good - summer is keeping us busy! Today is a more low key day and I’m already looking forward to nap time.

We picked bunks for our two bigs and will get those ordered this fall. While the kids have been begging us for bunks, I’m obviously concerned about the logistics of room sharing. My kids are really decent so I truly feel like it’ll work out but then I read horror stories... eeek!

I’m on a cheeseburger kick lately.

@disneybaby84 my youngest had tubes and it was a total life changer for her! Before tubes she had a constant ear infection. Even on the strongest antibiotics (which wrecked her poor tummy) she still had them. She got tubes at 11 months and has had 1 ear infection since and she's now 3. It was worth it!

I have 1 daughter who will be 2 on Saturday. I swear where does the time go.

How are your other kids doing this week?

DD is doing well we just got back from vacation so we are all adjusting back to reality. DD has been constipated on and off for about a month. We took her to the doctor a couple weeks ago and they suggested Miralax, but if we don't give it to her everyday, she becomes backed up and cranky (especially at night, if she is really uncomfortable will want me to sleep with her). I don't know if anyone has had this happen to one of their LOs. Since her diet really hasn't changed, the doctor believes it may be linked with transitioning to a new classroom at daycare, but its anyone's guess.

Rant 1: Did you know you could develop allergies while pregnant?! While on vacation last week I had shrimp twice, and both times broke out in bad hives. WTH, I love shrimp so much and I am so over chicken! Hopefully the allergy goes away at some point so I can enjoy beloved shellfish again.

Also, having a LO I am so distracted from the pregnancy, and when I do think about it, it is always negative (i.e. the baby is not developing, etc.), which leads to internet searches, which as you all know never ends well. I just wish there was a way to relax and that everything is out of my control.I don't knowwhat is happening, because I was so positive the first time around only thinking about the good things, now I count down the days to each doctor's appointment hoping to see a healthy baby and a heartbeat.

GTKY: What is your favorite cookout/ bbq food?

I am a sucker for any type of macaroni or potato salad. Hot dogs with mustard and sauerkaut, also up there on my list!

I've never really connected early on. With my first, it was because my brother had just died and I was sure something bad would happen. With my second, it was post MC. For me, it always gets better once I can feel movement.

I was the woman who when my son was 6-ish months old, I sobbed the hour drive to work after dropping my son off because I couldn't shake the obsession that my son was going to be eaten by a shark at daycare. A daycare 3 miles away from the water. I almost ended up hospitalized and ended up doing outpatient treatment. I was formally diagnosed with pure OCD after years of having no formal diagnosis under than anxiety disorder - otherwise unspecified.

You ladies are not alone.

@madreofdragons @kayjay44 I have generalized anxiety disorder, but haven’t taken any medications since I found out I was pregnant with my son. The PPD and PPA were brutal, but delayed until he was about 8 months. Not sure if that even counts anymore. It’s all consuming though. Not a fun club to be in, but glad to not be alone

So i keep thinking i’m going to have a bump by the start of the 2nd trimester. my stomach seems to have started to jut out from my hips. what is normal for 2nd baby?

I already have a solid blump - between a super short torso (my rib cage sits slightly in my pelvis due to scoliosis) and my abs splitting last time and even with PT never fully recovereing, it’s inevitable. . Totally normal to start showing sort of at 12 weeks with a second.

I have some sort of something...it could just be the amount of carbs I’m eating haha but this is my second and I’m almost 11 weeks so it’s definitely more rounded

You guys, I just yelled at my 17 month old. I turned into a freaking monster and just blew up on him in the target parking lot. He’s been fighting me (and only me) when I put him in the car seat lately. Like screaming, crying, turning bright red, kicking me, the whole shebang. And for some reason today I just lost it. Feeling extra guilty because when we got home he crawled up into my lap and cuddled for like 20 minutes. Mother of the year over here ...

@BourbonBiscuits I have definitely been there! These toddlers know how to push our buttons! I find it’s even harder to have patience with her since I’m pregnant. Try not to feel too bad Bc you are definitely not alone in this and are only human!

They are doing good my oldest has been at my brothers for the past couple of day and will be switching off with my 8yo Monday. My 9month old is growing to fast took his first step this week. And my daughter is such a big help with him when I need to use the restroom or make dinner.

Rants/Raves? Concerns about adding another tiny human to the mix? Well we really were not trying to have another baby right now but I believe everything happens for a reason and all my children have made me a better person. My husband and I are currently have some hardships and I believe this New pregnancy will help us move forward as we have kind of gotten stuck.

How far along are you? How big is baby? 8 weeks 1 day- baby is as big as a raspberry

How many kids do you already have? Ages? 2 sweet boys- 3.5 and 9 months and a step daughter (10) and step step on (9)

How are your other kids doing this week? 3.5 year old got a new bike and is speeding around so proud of himself- I love it! Poor 9 month old is teething....thinking he may be cutting molars early?!

Rants/Raves? Concerns about adding another tiny human to the mix? My step daughter cried when we told her our now 9 month old was going to be a boy...we will find out close to her 11th bday what we are having...but if it's another boy we may be postponing sharing the news
