i was spotting for a few days and was trying to get the triage nurses to have me seen, but they refused even though I called and whined twice. A dr. Saw my chart and intervened, and ordered blood work and a dating ultrasound to make sure nothing had gone awry. I got my betas back and they were 136,840. Phew. Ultrasound isn't until Monday, but the betas made me feel a bit better.
Just based on LMP I should be 8w0d but ultrasound last week measured gestational sac 6w4d and no yolk sac or fetal pole. Blood drawn 15,575 - 36 hours later another draw only 16,238. Waiting for my repeat ultrasound next week. It could go either way, right?
@elliecele17 , beta doubling does start to slow after you reach a couple thousand, it should double every 4ish days, instead of two. Yours aren't quite there... but there is always, always, always hope. You can use betabase to calculate your doubling time. I hope to hear good news from you next week.

My RE said my levels were high and thought I had ovulated earlier and was further along than we thought, but after measurements on ultrasound confirmed that the dates are correct. Only one sac on the ultrasound. Do high levels mean anything or should they be cause for concern?
@Loxi thinking about u! I just got my beta back. Went up from 16,238 on June 28 to 27,302 on July 4. Not exsactly doubling but I’m staying positive. I have my repeat ultrasound this afternoon when I’ll know more. Please keep me posted on your results tomorrow girl.
Finally got my blood work back. June 28th was 65,509.0 June 30th was 79,300.0
I'm nervous since it didn't double and *tw* I just had a miscarriage in April. *End tw* We also dont know how far along I am. My first US is in a week. Fingers crossed.
Just another update. My repeat ultrasound wasn’t good or bad. Still only seeing the sac (no yolk, no fetal pole). The sac is growing at regular pace & the Dr is pleased with that as well as my betas, so I go back next week to repeat it all for a 3rd time. I’m praying I see & hear my little bean next week.
I don't have betas but **TW I started spotting today. I didn't spot at all with DS and DD but did during my first pregnancy which ended in a MMC. Tuesday's US showed a baby with a heartbeat, but measured 5 days behind what I thought it should be. Trying to remind myself that lots of people have spotting and healthy pregnancies, but I think the writing is on the wall with this one.**End TW**
Thanks @elliecele17. I know I'm not being very positive, but we saw the HB with our first and still ended up being in the unlucky 2%. I'm trying to remind myself that every pregnancy is different. I have a follow up US next Friday, so fingers crossed!
So far so good @elliecele17. Thanks for asking. I had a little bit of spotting last Thursday, but that resolved. Hoping it was related to Tuesday's TV US. Repeat US on Friday.
