@hk0219 I would get really dizzy with my first if I wasn’t hydrated enough. My balance has completely changed since giving birth and I’m a tad more “tipsy”
@grebretso Wishing you smooth travels!! I can completely relate to those types of thoughts.

@grebretso that sucks the spotting is back. I hope you have a safe and uneventful flight! Maybe you can try to get into the dr a little earlier when you get back
Same. I don’t need to wake up at 4 every day. I’m dreading the insomnia. It was so bad with DS I was getting only a few hours of sleep WITH ambien. Only plus side to having the bad insomnia I do when pregnant is that the NB phase is a cake walk because I get more sleep with a NB than I did pregnant.
I messaged my MW and as long as I don’t show dehydration signs, they don’t need to see me before my first 1:1 appointment on Tuesday. And I am keeping my prenatal down, so better than nothing.
Thanks for all the good thoughts, everyone! I wasn’t nauseous on the first flight (2.5 hrs), and stayed ok for most of the second flight (8 hrs), but with just an hour left I couldn’t hold it anymore. And then again during landing due to turbulence. Haven’t puked on a plane since I was 7!
We had to pull over on the freeway as well, and I still feel like puking even though I got a solid block of sleep. Ugh. The spotting is also still there, but it’s “stable” and scant, so I’m not too worried. The weird pain in my right side disappeared completely though, so that’s good!
@kayjay44 sending good thoughts, I hope the meds make you feel better and help you keep food down! What you’re going through sounds awful.

Now I’m so fucking constipated - I would kill for diarrhea right now (and I just had a colonoscopy a month and a half ago - I would kill for two days of shitting liquid).
@kayjay44 careful what you wish for, when pregnant my ulcerative colitis flares and I literally go to the bathroom 30+ times a day. I have morning sickness from the other end, accidents and all. I’d kill for even a little bit of constipation, I just want to sleep without pooping 15 times a night
@kayjay44 I’ve been constipated for days, we got Peruvian chicken with ají verde sauce last night and man, that sauce had me running to the bathroom immediately. Usually I’d be upset about but I was just glad to finally gooo
@lifeislove87 - oh I’m sure - I’ve had diarrhea while pregnant previously and it’s not pleasant. But I would kill to do a colonoscopy prep right now which is saying a lot.
@kayjay44 two days of milk of magnesia just caught up with me and i basically pissed out of my butt. And i almost laughed out of excitement! I am determined to not be stupid constipated for another US(tomorrow). So the goal today is get ALL the water! Hopefully is the progesterone supplements that a slowing things down, since that is temporary!
@allthingsgo I put one or two tablespoons of chia seeds in a glass, then fill the glass up the rest of the way with water, and wait ten minutes until the chia seeds have finished soaking and expanding. It tastes gross and the texture is super weird but it works for me like a miracle. Once I learned to just swallow the soaked seeds without trying to chew them it got a lot easier. You can also buy chia water pre-made and flavored so it actually tastes good, but it's expensive that way.
Consider starting first with a smaller dose (even just 1-2 teaspoons) to see how they affect you. Drink plenty of water with them. Don't try to eat them dry, because in that form they won't help with the constipation and might cause dehydration. When you pre-soak them, the gel they turn into moves quickly through your intestines, which is why they work. I find that if I'm super constipated it will take around 12 hours to work the first time. After that, if I have a glass a day, it keeps me running pretty smooth.

It’s really good in lemonade - a Taiwanese hotpot place near us does that.

Welp, just spent 40 minutes on the toilet peeing out my butt. Thank GOD I have leftover tucks from postpartum recovery with DS. DH took DS to the pool while it all went down. I was going to join them, but legitimately thought I'd be the person to close down the pool for filling it with poop.
@madreofdragons I feel like a fucking cloud floating around with empty bowels. Minus the fact that my butthole feels like it's on fire, I feel AMAZING.
