Any favorite teams/players?
None
That was easy! LOL!
I played volleyball starting when I was like 10, all the way through playing for my university. Have barely touched a volleyball since (8-9 years ago) except for the occasional sand game.
What sports do you like to watch?
I watch the Olympics when it's happening, but I don't follow it religiously. Bills games on occasion since H is from near Buffalo. Big games for my college's basketball team. H's uncle is a high-profile college basketball coach, so we watch them during the regular season when it's convenient, and definitely during the conference tournament and March Madness.
Any favorite teams/players?
Meh, nothing really hardcore - I don't get upset at losses or anything like that. I like my college and H's uncle's college. I guess I'm a mild Reds fan since I'm from the Cincinnati area. That's about it.
What kind of sports do/did you play?
I did gymnastics from the time I was about six until 18. I did competitive cheerleading in high school and cheered for the University of Connecticut Women's basketball team and the football team.
What sports do you like to watch?
I will watch gymnastics any time it's on tv, I watch the Uconn Huskies, but that is really it.
Any favorite teams/players?
Uconn Huskies lol
Also, one of my best friends played for UConn's volleyball team!
Grew up playing basketball and softball, stopped in hs to do theater and bluegrass band. Played some rec volleyball after college, but was mostly just drinking and playing in the sand.
What sports do you like to watch?
Olympics, for sure. I will watch pretty much anything in person, but not a huge fan of watching sports on t.v.
Any favorite teams/players?
Nah. If pressed, I would say WVU football/basketball or the Steelers, but really idgaf
What kind of sports do/did you play?
I was forced on the tennis team in junior high, then went to a high school with a gymnastics program & marching band specifically to avoid team sports. Golfing was an option, but not in the budget. I did pick up snowboarding as an adult when I lived in Northern California.
What sports do you like to watch?
I'll watch the Winter X Games if they're on in public. I don't watch anything at home #CordCutter
Any favorite teams/players?
DH (who also isn't a sportsball fan) says that we are Bengals fans because they never win. So, uh, GO BENGALS.

I did dance for a little, soccer in middle school, in hs marching band overtook pretty much everything (and got the best field trips, Philly, DC, Disney, NYC)
What sports do you like to watch?
I like to go to baseball games in summer, but the only sport I will watch on TV is hockey
Any favorite teams/players?
my brother is a die hard flyers fan (he has a flyers tatoo and bought an orange car because flyers) so I root for them if they're on. I was raised cheering for all the Philly teams so that's still my default setting, lol
I played soccer, softball, and basketball as a kid. In high school I picked up tennis and played that all four years. Now, I run and play tennis when I can, and I might tag along on a golf outing once a summer.
What sports do you like to watch?
Golf, I guess. I don't really watch a whole lot else. I used to be big into football, but I just can't do it knowing what they're doing to their brains
Any favorite teams/players?
I love Rodger Federer and Rafa Nadal (both tennis players). I know they're not dominating like they did 10-15 years ago, but when they were, it was AMAZING.
I've stalked your bump profile a tid bit and it says you are from Cincinatti, your SIL and BIL are from Baltimore but your husband and his family are from Western NY
I apologize in advance it if takes me 100 tries before I get this lol
What kind of sports do/did you play? In HS I ran cross country and played basketball and baseball. Was recruited by a few schools to run CC, but somehow ended up playing soccer all four years instead. I played rugby after my eligibility was up, and now I play golf and racquetball.
What sports do you like to watch? Soccer first and foremost. I will watch most other sports, I'm not too picky. NBA is probably my least favorite nowadays.
What kind of sports do/did you play?
I starting cheerleading in middle school. I was on my university team for 3 years and a provincial club team for 4 years.
I now golf since my body hates me.
What sports do you like to watch?
I watch hockey
Any favorite teams/players?
Our house are huge Pittsburgh Penguins fans!
Watch: Hockey, mostly. My husband is in a few different leagues locally, and I got used to being the hockey girlfriend (i.e. sitting in the stands drinking wine with the girls) when we were still dating. Old man league doesn't get good ice times (it's not unusaul for games to start at 10:30 or 11:15 pm), so I haven't been able to go much since Nugget came around, but we do attend his afternoon and early evening games pretty religiously when we have the opportunity (she loooooooves it).
Favorites: I got on board with the Blackhawks when I started dating my husband; we were season ticket holders through last season, so got to attend a lot (though again, having a kid kind of drove our attendance numbers down). Alas, they keep trading away my favorite players
I played everything I could it seems. I was best at swimming and played soccer into my 30’s. Unfortunately, a bum knee has sidelined me for the last few years. I feel like I am already that Mom who relives her childhood thought her kid. My DD takes swim, dance and gymnastics (not all during the same season). That’s how my mom was. If my brother and I wanted to try anything we were signed up and usually did pretty well. The only team I didn’t play on was middle school and high school basketball my home town is basketball crazy and if you weren’t an all star by 4 grade you are a benchwarmer till you graduated.
What sports do you like to watch? My favorite is football. If Espn isn’t on when my husband is home I assume he is ill. My husband jokes he knew He was going to marry me when I was able to read plays and knew more rules about football then any girl he has ever met.
Any favorite teams/players?
The Ohio State!! but I seem to attend twice as many PSU games because that’s my husband’s favorite team. Same with I’m all Cleveland teams and my husband is all Pittsburgh teams. It’s a mixed marriage but we make it work!!
I played soccer from the time I could walk through my junior year of high school, many of those years I played all year round. My plan was to play in college but a hand injury (I was a goalie) cost me an entire season and I moved on to theater which I had always loved but never had time for. Some days I regret not going back to soccer and some days when I think about the women's soccer team at my college not having the ability to really do anything else, I don't regret it. I was a cheerleader for a couple football seasons in HS too and I played basketball in middle school because I had a huge crush on Geno Auriemma and wanted to go to UConn.
What sports do you like to watch?
I've always been a huge baseball fan. Love going to games and I watch the Reds on TV pretty much whenever they are on. I'd be up to going to see any sport in person.
Any favorite teams/players?
@hkom my cousin plays for the Cincinnati Reds so I've changed my loyalty to them from the Phillies. They are a hard team to love sometimes!! I'm actually watching them on my work computer as I type this.
@Jens_Hoes I'm a UConn fan too. My H managed to get a video message of Geno wishing me a happy birthday last week because he golfed in his charity tournament on my birthday instead of hanging out with me (I was at work so I think it was a fair trade). I try to refrain from watching it over and over and over haha
LOL! Nothing. Walking a straight line without falling over is an accomplishment for me in general.
What sports do you like to watch?
Whatever my husband is making me watch? If I must, hockey is ok and I grew up with baseball so I like that. I hate football with a bloody passion but I’m forced to watch.
Any favorite teams/players?
I’m partial to the ‘08 Phillies team, particularly Shane Victorino and Jimmy Rollins. I like the Flyers well enough, Wayne Simmonds is a fave on that team. I don’t care enough about any sport to actually care about them losing other than it will put my husband in a bad mood if they do.
I was a swimmer in high school and I enjoy volleyball, but I’m not very skilled.
What sports do you like to watch?
I don’t enjoy watching sports.
Any favorite teams/players
Nada
Watch: Hockey and tennis are the only sports I go out of my way to watch. Basketball when I was younger but not lately. Definitely not baseball — I have no patience for the slower pace.
Favorite teams: the Leafs (I know they suck but they are getting so much better now that Randy Carlyle is gone), the Blackhawks, and mayyybe the Bruins.
sidenote: wtf is wrong with the app? I’m on vacation for the weekend anyway, so my posting may be sparse, but the glitchiness is super annoying.
Watch? College basketball when Tarheels are playing, and we watch playoffs of a lot of sports
Favorite: Dallas Cowboys, Tarheels. I’m partial to CLE teams, NC teams( Panthers, and heels), and ATL teams (United, Braves). Fav players - Michael Jordan, Lebron, and the Dallas Cowboys of the 90’s - Troy, Emmitt, Michael Irving...
cocktails before my birthday video haha and it made me love him even more!
What kind of sports do/did you play?
I played basketball from 3rd grade to 11th grade. I am 5'2". I was terrible. But I had so much fun. I did swim team through part of middle and high school. I came in last place literally every meet. But it was good exercise. I also attempted soccer and softball and was terrible so I quit. I did dance and gymnastics in elementary. I much preferred gymnastics. I have been kickboxing for a year and a half and I LOVE it. I am not graceful or coordinated, but I try my best!
What sports do you like to watch?
I don't love to watch any sport, but I will go to baseball games. I can tolerate baseball in real life. On TV, not a chance. It is probably the most boring sport ever televised. I can get into football on TV when it's on, but don't seek it out. Same with hockey.
Any favorite teams/players?
I currently cheer for philly teams because of where I live, except the Eagles. My heart belongs to the NJ devils, the Giants, and the Yankees though, if I'm being honest.
What kind of sports do/did you play? Well, when I’m not pregnant, I play soccer & futsal. Before DD (2016), I played pickup about 1-2 times a week, and was usually in one league at any time. I help run a coed, adult league now and have done that since...2016, maybe? When I couldn’t play? Now don’t make any assumptions - I don’t claim to be great, haha. I’ll say I’m okay. I played as a kid and then started back up recreationally in college. I was a cheerleader grades 6-12; varsity in high school.
Workouts, I love body pump and spinning.
What sports do you like to watch? Football fanatic here, though definitely not as in-depth knowledgeable since DD. A perfect in-season Sunday for me is on the couch, RedZone on, and not moving except for potty breaks and snacks.
We watch about half of all aired Cubs games, all Indiana University basketball games, all aired Univeristy of Soutern Cal football games. I used to follow NBA and EPL closely. Having a child has 10000% changed our sports habits.
Any favorite teams/players?
*Takes deep breath* NFL - Colts; NBA - Pacers; MLB - Cubbies; NCAA - IU (DH) & USC (me);
EPL - Man Utd; La Liga - Real Madrid; International - USA & MEX
@katy0990 everyone around here was excited last year, except me! I tried to avoid superbowl altogether, but that didn't work
What kind of sports do/did you play?
I played little league football for 4 years then helped coach for another 4 years after that. There were about 5 girls throughout the league, so not many of us, but I just loved it! I was on swim team in middle/high school. I wasn't very good at sprints and such, but could hold my own in the distance races.
What sports do you like to watch?
Football is my favorite to watch - whether it's local high school games, college games, or NFL games. I also love the Olympics when they're on. For summer, swimming and gymnastics events are my favorite - I've loved watching gymnastics ever since watching women's Team USA take gold in 1996 with Kerri Strug! One of my favorite sports moments!
We also watch the NCAA basketball tournament. It's about the only basketball I can stand to watch. DH is a big Tarheels fan and I've been more into it the last few years b/c the university I work at/attend has made the tournament 3 of the last 4 years! It's exciting b/c I see some of my own students playing on a national stage (and school spirit and all that)!
Any favorite teams/players?
The Buffalo Bills are my favorite team! I'm from Western New York and was about 5 when the Bills started their impressive 4-year Super Bowl run in the early 90's. Even though they never won, I was hooked! That being said, Peyton Manning is one of my favorite players - I got to see him in person in Indy last year when his statue was unveiled in front of Lucas Oil stadium! Another one of my favorite sports moments!

In Jr. High I did volleyball, track and cheerleading. Well, basketball for a year, but I was awful (I'm short and just couldn't understand the plays...but I could shoot decent)! High school was track and dance team. Volleyball for 1 year, but the coach was a meanie, so I quit. I was on my college dance team and that was pretty fun.
What sports do you like to watch?
I don't sit down and watch as much as I did before having DD, but I'll watch football (college and NFL), baseball, basketball (mostly college), hockey, gymnastics ...pretty much anything except golf, tennis and racing. I love attending most any types of sporting events though. There is an indoor lacrosse team here in Denver and it's pretty exciting (unlike the outdoor team...snooze).
Any favorite teams/players?
My first love was the KC Royals (George Brett, swoon...when I was 5, I was convinced I was going to marry him. I could also name the entire starting lineup...I was apparently obsessed.). Denver Broncos (we've been season ticket holders since 1993), KU Jayhawks, Colorado Rockies (we had season tickets from 1993-2000 and my Dad threw out the 1st pitch in 1996) are my 2nd choice in baseball, Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets (but I have a soft spot for the Celtics, because Paul Pierce). I call DD my lucky charm because when I was pregnant with her, the Royals won the World Series and the Broncos won the Super Bowl. If my Jayhawks would have won the NCAA championship, I would have lost my mind! Athletes that I love because of talent, but mostly because they are just awesome humans, are Peyton Manning and JJ Watt.
Prebaby clbness was an absolute sports nut. I knew where so and so played college ball and who was the coach for this team and that team. For example, DH and I were watching a Nebraska-Illinois game last year and I said, hey, Lovie Smith coaches the Illini now?! And DH said, no, that's not Lovie, there's no way! A quick Google search proved him wrong (among many other examples I can't think of). Don't challenge me, bro!
In Jr. High I did volleyball, basketball & track. In HS I did softball. I sucked at them all
What sports do you like to watch?
Primarily football! We don't watch much NFL, but college all day on fall Saturdays.
Any favorite teams/players?
@clbness do you find it difficult being a KU fan and Broncos? My sister lives in Kansas City & loathes us for being Bronco fans (eyeroll). She's everything Kansas City.
Anywhoo - Nebraska Husker Football! We've sort of sucked the last few years, but I am hopeful for the future with a new coach. We're coming for ya, Ohio State @LLynde5
I enjoy the Royals, Broncos & will pull for the Big Ten college teams when they're on.
DS: 12/20/16
EDD: 11/29/18
I'm so glad to see other Husker fans!! I also believe great things with happen with Frost & OMG your puppies! That's perfect
