@Lo9876 yup! I was crying my face off this morning reading about them. It sounds like it'll be awhile before they can get them out though.
  • @ashh2018 hangry cries make complete and total sense though. Pregnancy hunger is like no other hunger I have ever felt! Also, I read your post and thought hmmm, what’s doordash? We live in a pretty rural area so we do not have fun things like doordash. Luckily it didn’t take me long to realize what it actually is.
  • @klj0228 we didn’t have anything like it where I used I live - before, if you wanted delivery it was pizza or Chinese takeout lol. Now it’s whatever I want and it’s lifechanging haha
  • I got into my first wreck today. According to everyone involved, DH, police and other driver... Damage to both vehicles was minimal. We have a busted headlight and the other driver has a small piece of bumper that came off. I've been crying and a nervous wreck since. Ugh. I was doing so good too and was planning on taking the driving exam in two weeks. Now, I'm too scared to.

@smsaulino I’m so sorry!  At least the damage was minimal, it could have been much worse. I was involved in an accident when I had my permit that resulted in my car being totaled. It wasn’t my fault, but it was still several months before I was willing to drive again. I hope you manage to start back up again much sooner.
  • Omg @smsaulino I’m glad you are physically ok! Any car accident, no matter how minor, is scary and can be traumatic. It’s perfectly ok that you’re scared but I hope you can trust yourself and try it again! Take the time you need but get back on the horse!
  • Oh no! @SkilledSailor  I would have cried, too!

@smsaulino  oh dear!  Glad everyone is okay, but it's understandable tonfeel a bit shaken. (((Hugs)))
  • @smsaulino Wow- I’m so glad you are okay! I’ve been driving for a long time and it still really scares me. I’m actually barely driving right now because I don’t have a car and am so happy. But, I applaud you for learning to drive (especially while pregnant!). Take all the time you need to mentally recover. Being able to drive will be very good for you though. I hope you feel able to get back to it soon. I’m going to get a car and start driving again once my maternity leave is over.

  • @smsaulino so sorry to hear about the accident! I agree with the others that it doesn't matter how long you've been driving for, it's very nerve racking to get into an accident! Hope you feel comfortable again soon!

@SkilledSailor I also would have cried if my dog did that.

@smsaulino sorry to hear about the wreck! I am so glad you and baby are both okay. Any accident is a little emotionally nerve wracking and being pregnant would make it worse. Take some time and relax, but don’t be too afraid to get behind the wheel again. I’m sure you’re a great driver and when you are ready you will take that test and pass with flying colors.

@SkilledSailor I would have cried too! I was polite and let me SIL bring their puppy and he has pooped in my office twice a day since they got here Tuesday night. I cried thinking about having to shampoo my office carpet when they leave Sunday.
  • @klj0228 That's so frustrating! You'd think she'd keep a closer eye on the puppy after the first accident. This was a bizarre thing for our dog. He's been with us 6 months now and never had an accident until this week.
  • Update from yesterday... It was going to cost 1100 to fix. Car is 10 years old. DH chose not to get it fixed and will take it in on Monday morning to see how much he can get for it. Of course, I got upset with the cost of the repair and the fact that we will now have another bill each month. DH got the car brand new and it had went through some hard winters in Michigan while he was in undergrad and med school and then withstood the Houston heat and floods. Ugh. DH is excited about a new car. He had just wanted to wait two more years to get a new one, when he's done with training. He had put a lot of money in car repairs for it since moving to Houston, probably more than what it's worth... Ugh. An emotional Friday has turned into an emotional Saturday.

  • @smsaulino I know it’s frustrating but don’t beat yourself up about it. Hopefully you will find a car you like even better and at a fantastic price!

@skilledsailor I guess your little guy earned this one accident he has done so great for 6 months.

Work is my reason for crying. I recently took a 10 day vacation (yay, right?). My GM is also on vacation and we overlapped for 5 days. None of the tasks I delegated to my 3 co-managers got completed and we have one new manager that the team is really struggling to connect with (he’s a manager, not a leader, a lot of “do this, don’t do that” and “because I said so”). So day 1 back I was hit with a ton of employees complaining and wanting to file official complaints against him. Then I had to explain to my boss’s boss why a bunch of stuff didn’t get done, and my reason of “I was on vacation and I sent a task list to my peers” wasn’t good enough. I’m not sure I can stay working for another 8 weeks before my leave starts.

@samd6 oooohhhhh I would so be mad at my team if they dropped the ball like that. How new is the manager? Now that you are back maybe you could help him learn to be a leader and discuss how he is currently being perceived?

@EErin86 he’s just new to our store, he’s been with the company & in role nearly five years! He’s got no desire to be a different type of manager, unfortunately. I’m finding out today that a lot of other things didn’t get done too, not just what I had delegated. Oy.

    8. More. Weeks. (Unless I can convince the doctor that this stress is a reason to put me on work restrictions sooner??)

Sobbed openly while in line at a drug store yesterday when I heard they found the kids soccer team that had gone missing in Thailand. I'm ready to start the waterworks again just thinking about it!
Did you see that they got all the boys and their coach out!? Hooray!!!
There are still a doctor and some of the Navy Seals in the cave but I think everyone is expecting them to be able to get out safely.
  • Every single time I leave my 2 year old for whatever reason I cry. Like, left the house to go to a meeting, or left house to go to yoga. Or grocery shopping. Each time my son has been totally fine with it, me and belly get hugs and kisses, and I'm leaving him with daddy and he's happy. I'm freaking ridiculous.

  • @SkilledSailor I feel you girl! My dog has had diarrhea since I got home from work yesterday...has had accidents in the kitchen a total of 7 times. I finally burst into tears while cleaning it up after the 4th time. I'M TIRED OF CLEANING DOG POO. (Guess he is getting me ready to deal with baby....)
  • The real question should be “What isn’t my pregnant self crying?”
These were my cry’s in the last couple days.

Saw “Won’t you be my neighbor”. The trailer alone will make you cry.

I couldn't finish my workout at the gym; I have had low BP through out the pregnancy and the heat isn't helping. So after the cardio portion of my workout I couldn't do the weights, my blood pressure was too low and I felt faint. So what do I do? Go cry in a corner because I'm frustrated. And then laugh because it makes no sense. Got to love the hormones!
  • @southernlady07 I was not expecting it to hit me that hard. DD just turned 5 and you are so right. It doesn't matter that it's been 3 or 4 years since she wore some of them, so many feelings.

I'm almost afraid to find some of her younger clothes.
  • Totally just cried watching the new Jumanji  :D
