Created for month, if it gets to big, we can do a part part 2.
I got to hear our son's heart beat! My Dr said i could record it for my H but then once i got my phone she couldn't find him again. he'll go to the next one and get to hear. I'm just glad our LO is ok.
I went for second appt this morning. My dr couldn’t find the heartbeat with the doppler (not uncommon, since I’m 10+4), so they did an ultrasound.
The heartbeat was strong at 188! The ultrasound tech gave me close ups of the tiny hands and feet. She also showed me the baby’s brain, so I’m relieved that that’s there.
Married: May 2012 DS1: May 2016 DS2: Jan 2019 Baby #3 EDD: 6/18/24
I had an appt today! I heard the heartbeat (although didn’t think to ask to record for DH - that would be a great idea!). They said all our labs looked good, it was a nice quick, easy appointment! Booked one in a month, and then also booked the anatomy scan for 7 weeks out! Can’t wait!
I had an appointment today! We got to hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time. The doctor had a time finding the little booger but said all sounded well and great! My blood pressure was down to 102/62 which is normal for me. It was like 125/75 the first appointment which is on the high side for me so I was glad that it came back down to normal for me.
Scheduled our next appointment and anatomy scan for August 16 and should find out the sex then!
We had an appointment with the midwife today. It went really well - heard the heartbeat, got some advice on round ligament pain, and booked our next ultrasound in August. Very good day.
Have my very first appointment tomorrow (I think I'm 11w2d today), and I'm super nervous.
First of all, I have to get blood tests done, and I absolutely hate blood tests. Not hate like, wow this sucks, I wish I didn't have to do it. Hate like...when I realized I was going to need blood tests, I had an anxiety attack and I've been having nightmares about it. The last time I had blood drawn (years ago), they couldn't find a vein in my arm and had to switch to my hand. I could feel it the entire time and it was the most awful sensation. Even now, if I think about it, I can feel the needle in my hand all over again. So not excited.
And on top of that, I'm nervous about the baby. Like what if I've been waiting these 11 weeks, and I go in there tomorrow and they cant find anything, or something is wrong? And I dont even get to meet with my real doctor until my next appointment, next week.
I just cant wait for tomorrow to be over, and hopefully be all good news, so that I can be excited about my NEXT appointment lol.
Had my 13 wk appointment today. The last two ultrasounds were terrible. You could barely see anything and baby was measuring behind. So I kind of expected the same thing. I had prepared myself for the worst. But, there’s a baby in there! It looked like a baby. You could see everything perfectly! It was a very reassuring appointment. I feel like I can move out of this doom and gloom phase and on to the next.
Had an appointment Tuesday all the doctor did was the Doppler and I told her I could have just done that at home! Lol I’ve been able to find the heartbeat on a regular basis for a few weeks. It’s so nice!
Second appt (first visit after initial confirmation of pregnancy) is on 7/13. My family’s in town and we take family photos next weekend. This sped up my blood draw for NIPT test (got it done today) since timing would be nice to find out that baby is ok and is a girl/boy.
I hope to see baby next Friday and hear the heartbeat. I also have to schedule for my NT scan in the next couple of weeks (11 wks today).
I had the NT scan and appt. On Tuesday. Things went really well, baby was in there dancing and he cooperated while the tech measured his neck. My SCH is the same size but is stable and they are happy with that. I go back in 4 w for another ultrasound. After, I had an appt with one of the midwives. Everything went well and we discussed how quickly I progress during labor. Everyone says as soon as I feel anything get to the hospital. We have a 40 min. Drive to the hospital and during the winter ( with all the extra old people) it could easily take an hour depending on what time of day. So... Yeah I'm a little concerned.
I'm 12+4 now...doctor put me a few days ahead based on ultrasound. :-) Everything looked good, thankfully. But she said she noticed a contraction and asked if I had been in any pain (I have been in mild pain). I googled it, seems to happen sometimes. She says it's nothing to worry about but may or may lead to early labor later on. Anyone had that happen?
Had an appointment on Tuesday at 13w2d for a quick Doppler and BP check. Baby girls HB was 156ish - just around the same rate as her big sisters was most of the time! My OB also confirmed for me that my NT and NIPT all came back low risk and that I’m gestating what appears to be a healthy little nugget. Even though I knew those things I always like hearing it from her!
Next appointment is the 31st so this will be the longest stretch I’ve gone without checking in! The MFM also called and we schedule my AS for August 21st. I can’t believe it!

My first ultrasound is finally this Tuesday and I am anxiously waiting for this weekend to end! Haha.
I’ve had one other appointment, but he doctor just did a cervical exam so I haven’t heard a HB or anything yet.
Im just shy of 13 weeks, so my impatience is a little silly. With DS I had an ultrasound at 9 weeks and another one at around 11 I think, but I was with a different OB for the first half the pregnancy.
Currently just living through all the wonderful reports of your ladies’ appointments
We had our ultrasound on Thursday. Baby looks perfect! Official edd was moved back two days to January 4th. Which is fine, I'm expecting another late baby anyway. Lol

My pregnancy with DD I had an "irritable uterus" - I had cramping during first tri and then around 19 wks I had semi regular contractions and went to L and D. My cervix remained closed and baby stayed put. They gave me one shot of a tocolytic (to stop contractions) and I went home a few hours later. That was the point i was diagnosed with "irritable uterus". I would have contractions on and off the entire pregnancy. It was hard to tell for me when early labor actually started because I'd been having contractions for so many weeks.
My doc told me that many women with symptoms like mine go one to deliver at term, and that's what happened with me. It was pretty stressful at times because sometimes i would worry about pre term labor, but in the end all was ok. Another lesson that we don't control anything in pregnancy.
Just sharing my experience so that you know at least one person who had early, non productive contractions (where your cervix stays long and closed) and delivered a full term baby. Hang in there!
Had an appt last week (was 12+6 at the time) and heart baby's heartbeat It was about 160. It was fun to hear the whooshing sounds too which were apparently movements. My H is out of town so recorded for him- I wouldn't have thought of it but the midwife suggested it. It was a pretty quick appt, no blood draws or urine or anything else.
We opted out of genetic testing after going back and forth for awhile, so don't know the sex yet. Next appt Aug 1st There's nothing like the elation that comes after having a good appt!
I just had an ultrasound with the local high risk doctor, solely based on my age. Everything was great! Baby is on track and looking good. Now I'm getting the blood work done. We we're able to see the genitals and she said it looked 'suspicious' but she doesn't confirm unless she's 100 % Looking like a boy but we'll know in about a week I guess.
I have my NT scan tomorrow. It was scheduled for Friday but I got a message from the clinic saying where I scheduled it doesn't do NT scans. Um, I specifically said it was an NT scan when I made the appointment. Could have told me LAST WEEK. It's fine because I get to move it up but annoying because I had to change everything around for work. I'm excited though. Only downfall is because of the scheduling drama DH can't go. I'm really sad about that. He can't typically go to a lot of my appointments anyway due to kids and schedules and work and stuff so we made sure we could get this one in. Now he doesn't get to go again. For damn sure next month at the A/S he will be there.
Also, holy crap are we starting to hit half way NEXT MONTH!?? That's so exciting guys!
I had my OB intake last week, as well as my draw for Panorama testing. Everything looks good and we discussed an ultrasound to check my cervix (past LEEP) around 16 weeks and we scheduled my anatomy scan. We talked about baby aspirin starting at 12 weeks to try and help with PIH/Pre-E and we did a baseline urine catch and labs. No more appoints this month which freaks me out a little lol.
@sparkymcgeee WOW....halfway is next month. I didn't realize that...that's crazy and so fast.
July 23 is my next appointment. THey're doing an early glucose test because I had uncontrollable GD last time. So I'm not excited. But I am excited that vacation is the week before THey're going to do heartbeat by doppler. I have a pocket doppler and I've found sweet bean 3 times luckily. The first time at 10 weeks, 11 weeks, and then last night at 12+2. It registered the number last night even and it was 155. I borrowed it from a friend and she said that it never registered the number for her so I was excited!!!!
We have our anatomy scan scheduled at a 4D place for August 6...I hope to find out the sex then I am so excited!

Had my first appointment with the doctor today (had tests done last week). We got to do our first ultrasound, which was really fun. I thought my EDD would be around Jan 22, based on my period (so I would be around 12 weeks 2 days now)....but on the ultrasound the baby only measured at 10 weeks and 6 days, which would make my EDD February 1st. I'm still going to hang around the January board for now though, just in case it changes next time.
I had just a routine checkup baby's heartbeat was 155! And I scheduled my anatomy scan for August 16! I'm still unsure if I want to know the gener yet I guess I have 5 weeks to decide!
I have my appt in 3 hrs! I can’t focus on anything and keep wondering if baby is moving around inside. We pick up the envelope today based on the NIPT test and will be dropping it off at my friend’s so she can start on the reveal which isn’t until Sunday. Omgggg the wait for this and that is just killing me! Fingers crossed for a good appt!! Will update later.❤️
I start bi-weekly pre-term labor monitoring on the 16th that will basically continue until they get moved to weekly appointments the last month. So every 2 wks I meet with my MFM and get a sono. I also have a home healthcare nurse coming weekly starting the 20th to administer Makena injections and take vitals for monitoring. Looking forward to the sonos but not so much all the waiting that comes with appointments every 2 wks
Appt went well! Baby is measuring 5 days ahead. Next Thursday is my NT scan. I didn’t get a good ultrasound pic today but I think NT ones are better anyway - it’s actually being done at an imaging center. I can’t wait to find out the sex on Sunday so I can start processing/connecting more! Baby was facing down today. Heartbeat high at 171. DD was always low 120s.
I have my NT scan on Tuesday. I have to drive to a new facility in an inconvenient place, and I’ll be going solo. So I’m super stressed about those logistics too. The ILs are going to come watch DD so I don’t have to take her with me, which is nice. I’ll probably leave extra ridiculously early so that I don’t have to worry about being late *knock on wood* and then just hang out in the waiting room for an hour, enjoying the quiet.

I went in today to meet with a new provider. I decided that I'm going to switch my care over to her. She actually took the time to talk to me about my concerns and the kind of birth that I want. In addition, their office actually bills my insurance throughout the entire pregnancy, as opposed to my previous provider who doesn't submit anything to insurance until after the baby is born. And, a bonus is that their birth center will be opening right before I'm due. Each room has a fireplace and a jacuzzi.
NT scan was today. Everything looked good, and HB was in the 150s. Baby was measuring right on track size wise too!
Nothing now until my next appointment on August 2. I’ll probably schedule my last screening bloodwork to be later that day as well. Get it done in one trip.

I had an appointment last Tuesday at 14w5d. I got to hear baby's heartbeat (158) and didn't even think to record it. We're scheduled for our anatomy scan on August 14 and are so excited to find out what it is! DH is taking off work so that we can find out together and then do something cute to tell our families the sex.

Good for you! That birthing center sounds amazing! It’s important to have a provider you click with. My SIL changed providers at 36 weeks with her last pregnancy and was glad she did! Her old OB said earlier on that she supported VBACs and would allow her to go into labor on her own, but ended up really pushing and trying to scare her into scheduling a repeat C-section as she approaches her EDD. She’d kind of been bullied into a convenience induction a few days before Christmas on her first baby, by the same practice. She ended up having such a better experience with her new OB; it was night and day! Go with your gut!
12 week scan went great today! Baby was measuring right on track. I got blood drawn for the NIPT and other chromosomal tests. We will find out the results in a week!
I had my 12 week NT scan today. NT measurement was normal, and I got to hear the heartbeat (143). Baby was very wiggly and kept headbutting me, lol. It measured 3 days ahead which I know is in the margin of error and doesn't mean anything, but it makes me nervous.
Had a 15 week check up with my doctor today. My BP is remaining normal (was high my entire first pregnancy), HB was a strong 150 and my weight gain is average. Pleased that all went well, going back in 4 weeks and then will schedule my ultrasound (first one!) at that visit.
Question for everyone that is related to appointments. My midwife said she doesn't do weigh-ins because " it's not important", but I think it kind of is important... Does anyone else have someone who says the same thing? I weigh myself at appointments anyway, just to know, but I found it curious that she didn't care to know.
