I feel like the polite way to ask someone if they're pregnant is, "wait, how many kids do you have again?" or "how many children do you have?" Because that opens it up for someone to tell you if they want to (or AREN'T PREGNANT), but if they don't it's easy enough to be like, "Two." and then end the convo.

Mine never popped either. I was actually a little bummed about it the first time around, because I always have a flat spot in the middle of my bump! But it's probably more noticeable to me than anyone else.

So, this is funny - for the show I started working on recently I share an office with someone and on the first day she told me she was pregnant and I told her I was too, though I wasn't widely sharing it yet. I'm 4 weeks behind her and, now that I'm open about the pregnancy at work, we had jokingly been calling our little office the maternity ward. Then, another producer joined us in this office and we were like oh, guess we can't call it the maternity ward anymore, but then yesterday she confided in us that she's also pregnant! And she's 4 weeks behind me. So all three of us are pregnant, each a month apart, and we'll be sharing an office until October! The maternity ward indeed!

@echo-charlietango wow I thought Wawa was everywhere! It's a convenience store, often with a gas station as well. Like QuickChek. Huge here my area, but I guess not everywhere like I assumed. I love my Wawa!

I’m okay with being outed Or otherwise I would have told her no I wasn’t but pregnant. @AGK2015 I have a small hernia (caused by ds2) near my belly button so while I don’t have an outie yet (did with both boys), I’m sure it will be a beauty this time.
@agk2015 Bravo! And +1 on the outie. Not the best shot of it, but mine is a little more than half out as of 14wks.
My mom had super negative body image, it made me so sad growing up bc I thought she was beautiful. Luckily instead of the experience making me feel I had to look one way, I came out loving a huge range of body types, including my own. I’m super thankful for that and love seeing women get excited and tossing the built-in shame we are pushed into. It’s so hard, you ladies are all incredible.
@activebaby I have a small hernia lower by the groin line too from my egg retrieval swelling. It’s worst during first tri though, eventually the weight of the baby either hides it or pushes the muscles together. I totally freaked out about it during pushing! Also- I’m not sure I’d say that to a good friend, that nurse was suuuppper bold.
@scaredunprepared I LOVE Wawa and it makes me so sad that we don't have any in CT. I grew up in PA and literally Wawa and Sheetz are the things I miss most haha I was in PA this past weekend for a wedding and we went to Wawa 4 times.
@echo-charlietango and @scaredunprepared Lol at “what is this wawas.” Wawa is the most ridiculous name for a store unless you live near one, in which case they are GOLD. I was coming to say that we have those chips in the northeast (and yes, I saw them at wawa haha!) Hope you can find them where you are (sorry I’m blanking on where you moved to). Anywho do other people have Andy Capp’s Hot Fries? They are sooo good and my spicy craving this pregnancy.
@rosebud332 Ooooo Hot Fries! We had those in my highschool cafeteria and I ate them every. single. day. They also sold them at my college's next-to-campus bar, which was just so ideal at 1am after multiple drinks.
@rosebud332 (I moved to Alabama, from Kansas, from Arkansas, from Texas, from California, from Texas again) I didn't know that Andy Capp's Hot Fries were still being made I haven't seen those since Texas in the late 90s.

@AGK2015 I was kind of disappointed I never got the "belly boob" when I was pregnant with my DD! It just seems like such an "official" pregnancy thing and it never happened. I never got the linea nigra thing either and was bummed about that too, for some reason, haha.
Milestone brag: my 2-year old just figured out how to operate a doorknob for the first time!
Milestone sad: she did it after bedtime, while her father and I were... you know... getting reacquainted for the first time since he knocked me up. Well done, kid.
