Re: Symptoms week of 6/17

  • @kayjay44 that face is priceless  :D

  • @kayjay44 too cute! But that basically sums up how I felt yesterday.

I don't feel much physically but my brain is mush and my patience is at an all time low. These symptoms are a real roller coaster.
  • TW

Started spotting and cramping. I’m also really nauseous. Really praying this isn’t the start to a m/c. I didn’t spot in my 2 successful pregnancies but I did with my first that I lost. Trying not to think about it.

    I miss naps.
  • I’ve been sensitive to only one smell this pregnancy and that’s cigarette smoke. I guess we can add dog poop to that list! I was at a home visit and we were playing in the backyard. I smelled dog poop and almost lost my lunch. Even thinking about it makes me queasy.

I miss driving to work so I had a car to nap in at lunch.

  • 4/4 on night pukes. It was clearly a man that named it “morning sickness” because mine has always been worse at night.

Solidly in the nausea and fatigue camp over here. I've woken up with a yuck taste in my mouth the last couple of days so must be having some reflux in my sleep too.  As far as mood goes, I've been feeling pretty upbeat and calm.  While I randomly get extremely ravenous at odd hours of the day, I haven't been hangry at all, so that's good news for my colleagues ;)

@antera23 I felt nauseous just reading your post about that smell :D

@rachstar18 fx for no more issues or bleeding xx

  • Threw up 3x yesterday and could not keep down liquids at all. Fatigue is ok until 4 pm rolls around and it’s downhill from there. This is almost starting to feel like my first pregnancy, but still not as bad. Yet.
  • Anyone else super stuffy? I forgot about this but I totally can’t breathe through my nose at all.

I’m semi freaking out. Last Monday I went in because I was so cramping so bad and when my Dr did the ultrasound he found an ovarian cyst. I’ve been super nauseous, exhausted and my boobs have been SO sore. Yesterday, I was cramping fairly bad again, it got so bad that I had to sit down while I was walking around target and now all my other symptoms are gone. Wtf?!

ETA: my mind got the best of me so I texted my Dr and he said to come in when the office closes and he’ll check and make sure my cyst didn’t rupture
  • @rachstar18 I’ve been so stuffy! I thought I was getting a cold but otherwise feeling fine !
  • I am 6wks, and I know I will regret saying this but I have been largely symptom free thus far. I have been tired - took two naps last weekend, which I never do - but not overly exhausted. I have noticed a little ear ache, and a very persistent pimple under my right nostril, both very weird. My boobs are a little sore sometimes, and I think they're slightly fuller.

Is it bad that I am waiting for "bigger" symptoms to pop up? This is my first pregnancy and I don't go to the doctor until 7/11, so I need something to tell my body that we are good!
  • @mainemama_ fx it’s just the cyst (sounds like it based on your symptoms). Keep us posted! Also sounds like you have a pretty great dr!

@jberk13 totally normal to want stronger pregnancy symptoms for reassurance. I know I did but then I got what I asked for and was pretty miserable. You may be one of the lucky ones who doesn’t get strong symptoms. Or it just may be too early. Everyone’s different.

I said that when I was 6 weeks on Wednesday. 6w1d and it went downhill. Nausea to the max. I can only eat carbs. Any fruit or vegetable is not edible right now. I’m sure constipation is my next stop.
  • So nauseous. Also took my daughter to the amuaement park for a few yours yesterday. Exhausted all afternoon. Couldnt get off the cough and could barely keep my eyes open.

After two days of feeling less nauseous I’m back to feeling like crap again. Reassuring and terrible at the same time

I can relate, however I’m trying to focus on the positive and be thankful.
  • My blump is out of control. I'm down 7lbs, but look bigger.

  • @jberk13 you are not alone! I want stronger symptoms too, lol. I’ve had very minimal morning sickness and I almost want more. I feel the same way that stronger symptoms would be reassuring. Hopefully we don’t eat our words later ;)
  • Nice and constipated today. It’s a real pain in the ass :disappointed:. Dad jokes must be one of my symptoms too.
Same and my dad jokes have been a symptom of being over 30. :joy:
  • Nausea and heartburn together. The Tums make the nausea worse, the Preggie Pops make the heartburn worse. Yikes.

  • Oh, hello nausea. There you are. Thanks for showing up while I was doing dishes.
  • 6w on the nose and the nausea is back. It's mild but now that the reassuring effect has worn off, I'm over it. Food doesn't seem super appealing and then it leaves me with an icky feeling.
  • @kayjay44 , Oh I didn't know that was pregnancy-safe. I'll pick some up!
@KristoKekerooni - have had severe heartburn through two pregnancies. Tums is what they start you with, then Zantac and if that doesn't work, Prevacid

Anybody itchy down there?? It’s driving me crazy!! I’ve never had a yeast infection so I’m wondering if it’s a pregnancy symptom of if I’m experiencing my first yeast infection.
