@katy0990 It really is hard. I didn't expect to have so much worry over everything.
@winterplumeria I see midwives and they try to have me see a different one each time so that when I deliver I'll have met the one delivering the baby at least once. I believe there are 6 or 7 of them in the office. I love that they do that so I don't end up with some stranger. I guess you may not have that issue, though. I hope your panorama results all come back good!!
@omnommer Ugh. Sorry about the yeast infection. That's no fun. Isn't hearing the heartbeat the best?! It's one of my favorite things.
I had my NT scan yesterday and it went well!! Baby is measuring right on track. The heartbeat was 165 and it was so nice to hear it. DS was with it and was listening so intently trying to figure out where the noise was coming from. It was adorable. The NT measurement was in the normal range, thank goodness!! I'll have the bloodwork back next week. At the scan we got a peek between the legs and the tech said, "I don't see anything there, but it's still early but that would leave one to lean in one direction." So it may be a girl, but I've been feeling like it's a boy. Mainly because this pregnancy is so similar to my last, just with less symptoms but a MUCH worse attitude. lol (I know how this pregnancy is going means nothing about the sex of the baby.)

@omnommer Your post reminds me that I got my bloodwork back from my thyroid check and it looks like my dosing is correct now because all my numbers are in range! Are they going to put you on meds?
Had my 16 week this morning. Everything went great. They found the heartbeat in literally like 2 seconds, measuring in the 150s. Anatomy scan is set for July 16!
*ETA: Also, they gave the thumbs up for pseudoephedrine @texas_t
@texas_t I've actually been hypothyroid for about 3 years now! So yes, I'm on levothyroxine. I found my "happy" levels at around 1-1.5 TSH score - everyone is different, but that's what makes me feel best. My first blood draw this pregnancy was all the way up to 2.7 (which is in the "normal" range for those not pregnant, but I already knew that it's too high for me personally). So we adjusted my meds and it's time to check again to see if we've gotten it back down. Hoping to get that back soon!
I'm glad that your numbers are in range now! Do you feel a difference from having them out of whack to having them to a good place?
Work got too crazy to update yesterday, but my 16 week appointment went well (though it was the fastest appointment ever! I was in and out so fast I forgot to ask a couple of questions, but I'll see her again in 4 weeks or I can call.) Anyway, she found the heartbeat right away with the Doppler and she said my blood pressure, blood work and everything were great, so I'm feeling pretty good and optimistic! Next appointment, anatomy scan! Woo!
@AdorkablePixie I had my NT scan last week and was SO nervous! It turned out well, and we got so many pictures of the baby so it ended up being kinda fun
I had my doppler appointment yesterday, it was super quick. Baby's heart is going strong at 150 BPM! I had no idea that I was also meeting with a social worker afterwards, though, because I'm pretty high risk for postpartum depression. I was really caught off guard, so it was sort of a really emotional appointment. I got a lot of really great information from it, though!
@omnommer I'm on armour thryoid and started taking it in February of this year. My energy levels have been so much better since taking it! I hope y'all land on the right dosing soon!
@AdorkablePixie they do a rotation here too, I think it's 4 midwives though? There's only 1 OBGYN in town so everybody goes through the midwife practice unless there's a medical reason for the OB.. So weird to me! The only 1 I've seen so far is just an odd lady lol she's super nice but odd! Drug DH along to my last appointment since he was actually home, when we got out to the truck he's like "that woman is really strange!!!" Lol at least I'm not just crazy I guess
So I had my ultrasound yesterday and they determined I have Mo Di twins. They're identical and are sharing a placenta. They couldn't tell what they were yet. They said my blood work from my NT scan came back all good and the babies are measuring at the same rate so far but they want to send me to a specialist (3 hours away ) to make sure everything is ok due to the twins being identical. From what I've gathered they want to make sure TTTS (twin to twin transfusion syndrome) doesn't occur and etc. So I'm going to the specialist tomorrow morning to have another ultrasound and such so I'm hoping this all goes well.

@a_m_swell My office is going paperless and they stopped printing out the ultrasound pictures!! I am so bummed as they were supposed to be a part of our announcement on Saturday. They sent me a link and I saved them to my phone, but now I need to figure out how to print them out so they look decent.
@winterplumeria lol At least you could take your DH with you the last time. I haven't had any odd ones yet. I think there is one new midwife this time though that wasn't there last time.

@texas_t Yes!!I I was so disappointed. Like I paid $50 for this, the least you could do is give me a couple pictures. At least the pictures they had me download are amazing quality!!

@AdorkablePixie I’m the opposite — I wish we’d gotten good quality digital images instead of the cheap curling printout. Last time around they gave me a CD of the images from the ultrasounds and I like that better. I wanted to be able to share pictures via text once we told close family, and the pictures I took of the printout aren’t nearly as good as the digital files from last time.
Had my appointment this morning with the new midwife... I really like her! She's very informative, and she's really sweet! Baby sounded great on the Doppler nice strong heart in the mid 150s officially got my anatomy scan ordered, so that will happen next month!
Had 16 week appointment today. Heard heartbeat and it sounded nice and strong. Due to diabetes running rampant in my family (although I do not have it), my dr had me do a glucose test today and will get the results tomorrow.
@katy0990 that’s so nice! My last one provided a cd the first time and thereafter recorded the pictures from all ultrasounds if you brought back the cd. The current place doesn’t, but my new OB is amazing, so - win some, lose some.
