. How many weeks are you, and how big is baby? 4w2d, size of a braille dot.

    2. How are you feeling? Mentally and physically? Nauseous after meals, peeing non-stop, achey boobs. Mentally I'm petrified. I've only had one CP, but I started spotting with a big red bang that time on 4w2d. This time I've been spotting brown on and off since two days before my BFP. Lo and behold, today started with a little bit of red spotting. Nowhere near as much as last time, but enough to make me concerned, and the spotting was scaring me even before it turned red. However, I've had no spotting since, and I've seen a slight progression on my wondfos (yeah I can't stop POAS), but today it was waaayyy darker than yesterday. Almost as dark as the cover line! So that's a good sign, right?

    3. Any appointment updates?
Beta testing. I went in yesterday for my first one, and will go in tomorrow for my second. Won't get results from either until Tuesday or Wednesday though. If all is well (and continues that way), my first group appointment is on 7.11, and my first 1:1 and US is on 7.17. So far away!

    4. Rants/Raves/Questions? I have a pretty standard office job, but today of all days I had to lift a bunch of heavy stuff because I'm coordinating the yearly carpet cleaning which will happen this weekend. I should NOT be lifting heavy stuff, but I can't tell anyone why! So I just did it. Ugh I'm such a sucker.

    5. GTKY: If you could live your life as a fictional character, who would you be?
Tough one! Probably Miss Marple, she's badass, smart and travels a lot!

    4. Rants/Raves/Questions?

This wait needs to be over.

  • 1. How many weeks are you, and how big is baby? 5w6d, appleseed

    2. How are you feeling? Mentally and physically? Mentally, I’m an absolute train wreck. Anxious, terrified. This is my 5th pregnancy and I’ve never seen a HB. They’ve all ended before 7 weeks. So yeah. Physically, sore breasts/nipples, peeing a lot, headaches, constipation, etc.

    3. Any appointment updates?
Had an U/S today and saw the gestational sac/yolk sac. But no fetal pole or HB, so that was a bummer. Trying to not let past experience influence my reaction, but it’s hard.

    4. Rants/Raves/Questions? Nada

    5. GTKY: If you could live your life as a fictional character, who would you be?
Wonder Woman - An Amazonian princess who kicks ass and saves the world? Yes please.

@ChloandCoco I feel you on being a mess. FX your viability scan goes exactly as it should next week.

@grebretso Glad to see you here, but I’m sorry you’ve had the spotting. I think spotting can be totally normal in early PG and my SIL
had what she thought was a full-blown AF when she was actually PG, so I would try to hang in there you can get a scan. Have you called your OB/MW to report the red spotting? They might get you in sooner.
  • etnyahetnyah member
Glad to see you here too @cassafrass15! Really hope we both stick around till the end!

It's definitely reassuring to hear stories of women who spotted and/or bled early on and still had a good outcome. I haven't reported the red spotting, since it's so early I doubt they can do more than betas anyway, and I'm already having those done. If my beta results are promising, I'll mention it to them and see if I can get a US sooner since my current one is scheduled at 9 weeks. Unfortunately I'm leaving the country on Thursday and won't be able to get a US until I'm back on July 9th! Great vacation timing there.

  • 1. How many weeks are you, and how big is baby? Not sure, I think around 6 but waiting for dating US due to no real period between MC in April and BFP in May.

    2. How are you feeling? Mentally and physically? Tired mentally and physically. I had two uneventful pregnancies with my kiddos and what happened last month really threw me for a loop and I’m trying not to get anxious about every twinge.

    3. Any appointment updates?
    Nothing til 6/28

    4. Rants/Raves/Questions? I’m excited because a coworker friend of mine is also in first tri with her rainbow. I’m so happy for her.  She had a tragic second tri loss earlier this year and today was that sweet babe’s due date.

    5. GTKY: If you could live your life as a fictional character, who would you be?
Luna Lovegood - she’s unapologetically herself and gets to go to Hogwarts, what’s not to love?
  • 1. How many weeks are you, and how big is baby? 5w3d. Appleseed.

    2. How are you feeling? Mentally and physically? Typical nausea and fatigue.  Mentally I’m struggling.  Unplanned pregnancy, history of multiple first tri losses, and the confusing feeling of trying not to let myself get excited.

    3. Any appointment updates?  Ultrasound on Tuesday to confirm due date.

    4. Rants/Raves/Questions?  Hope it’s okay I’m here.  My last pregnancy was successful, but I had three losses before my first, and one in between him and my daughter.  PGAL brain never, ever goes away.

    5. GTKY: If you could live your life as a fictional character, who would you be? Claire from Outlander.  She is an incredibly strong woman.

    1. How many weeks are you, and how big is baby?
I am 6 weeks. Baby is the size of a lentil. I’m not exactly sure of my due date because I have PCOS and irregular cycles.

    2. How are you feeling? Mentally and physically?

My anxiety has been really bad. Today is a good day though so I am grateful for that.
Physically I feel ok. I’m very tired and my boobs are sore. I am dealing with a little constipation and some very slight nausea. The pregnancy still doesn’t feel real to me :)

    3. Any appointment updates?

I had my first appointment today! It was so exciting. My ultrasound is scheduled for June 29th and I will find out how far along I am. I have some risk factors for prenatal diabetes so they are testing me early at 10 weeks.

    4. Rants/Raves/Questions?
    None so far.

    5. GTKY: If you could live your life as a fictional character, who would you be?

Either Anne Shirley or Lorelei Gilmore.

  • @Ktrue85 I’m also here after a successful pregnancy but I had two losses before it. You are so right in saying PGAL brain never really goes away.

    1. How many weeks are you, and how big is baby?
    7+1, Altoid

    2. How are you feeling? Mentally and physically? Mentally I’m ok. Every time my nausea goes away I’m relieved and worried at the same time. Physically I’m tired and go through periods of feeling really sick to the point of being almost incapacitated.

    3. Any appointment updates?
First appointment isn’t until 6/26. I’m counting the days!

    4. Rants/Raves/Questions? I’ve had to rely a lot on DH to take over majority of care for DD when I get really sick and have to lie down. I’m so fortunate he is home and able to help so much but I feel sad I’m missing out with DD since she is at such a fun age.

    5. GTKY: If you could live your life as a fictional character, who would you be?

Amy from Heartland. I’d love to live on a ranch set in such a gorgeous place and work with horses all day.
  • PGAL brain never goes away after a loss. I had a MC between my kids (TW: it was bad, I hemorrhaged and could have died). My son was born happy and healthy in June 2016. Since this pregnancy’s timing coincides with the same time of year as when I got KU with my MC, I’m extra terrified. In fact, my due date is a day before the day of the baby I lost. It’s a mind fuck.

  • 1. How many weeks are you, and how big is baby?  7 weeks, blueberry

    2. How are you feeling? Mentally and physically? physically I feel pregnant.. nauseous and tired.
honestly and surprisingly I’m doing better then I thought I would be. I did decide to stay on my anti-anxiety meds this time around which I have not done for past pregnancies which I think helps. I think I will be a nervous wreck once my ultrasound gets booked .. not sure if I need a TW here or not but I had a mmc , I never developed passed 4 weeks but I had no cramping or bleeding and it was only discovered at a 9-10 week ultrasound. I took misprotal and still I had no bleeding or cramping and ultimately I needed 2 D&cs to clear out my uterus so needless to say I’m scared out of my mind about the ultrasound but until then I will continue to live in my bubble

    3. Any appointment updates?
I have my first pre natal appointment Monday and should get an appointment for an ultrasound then too

    4. Rants/Raves/Questions? None

    5. GTKY: If you could live your life as a fictional character, who would you be?
I really don’t know ... maybe Olivia benson from law and order svu because she is a bad ass.
  • @kayjay44 that sounds so scary! I’m glad you came out ok. I can’t even imagine having to cope with that especially with this pregnancy happening around the same time. Talk about a trigger!
  • 1. How many weeks are you, and how big is baby?

    5w4 days

    2. How are you feeling? Mentally and physically?

    Physically, I'm fine. Mentally, I'm a mess. We've had 2 mc so far. Last one was on 2/13/18 at 10w 4d. I can't believe I got ku so fast. I'm nearly 39.

    3. Any appointment updates?

Currently in waiting room of me midwife's office.

    4. Rants/Raves/Questions?

    Just hope.

    5. GTKY: If you could live your life as a fictional character, who would you be?

    Aunt Frances from Practical Magic.
“My darling girl, when are you going to realize that being normal is not necessarily a virtue? It rather denotes a lack of courage." - Aunt Frances”
  • 1. How many weeks are you, and how big is baby? I am 4w5d

    2. How are you feeling? Mentally and physically? Physically, beside being exhausted, I don't feel any different. Even the exhaustion is because of the meds, so . *shrug* Mentally, I am actually okay. I think because I am still on my anxiety meds. But I have really been able to embrace it this time and just hope and pray for the best.

    3. Any appointment updates?
I had my third beta today. Still waiting on results.

    4. Rants/Raves/Questions? Not right now.

    5. GTKY: If you could live your life as a fictional character, who would you be?
    Can I be Sherlock Holmes?

    UGH. So many questions.

Forreal tho.. that’s one of the most spectacularly made television series in existence.

  • 1. How many weeks are you, and how big is baby?
    I'm 5w3d

    2. How are you feeling? Mentally and physically?
Nausea comes and goes, sore boobs, pretty fatigued. Mentally I'm pretty anxious. I get anxious about feeling nauseated because I don't want it to ruin my day or plans, but then I also get anxious if my nausea lightens up.

    3. Any appointment updates?
My first appointment/ultrasound is on July 3.

    4. Rants/Raves/Questions?
I'm not a fan of morning sickness, but the local ramen restaurant is certainly going to benefit from this. Ramen is like magic for banishing nausea!

    5. GTKY: If you could live your life as a fictional character, who would you be?
    Tom Bombadil.

Benedict Cumberpatch is my favorite Sherlock!

  • 1. How many weeks are you, and how big is baby? I’m 4+5 and I think bean is the size of a poppyseed

    2. How are you feeling? Mentally and physically? Physically I feel okay, definitely fatigued, a little nauseated and sore boobs all the time. Mentally I’m a mess. We’ve been TTC for about a year and have had two early losses in that time, the last in January. I had no trouble at all conceiving with my DS, so it was tough on me. Since having my LO I was diagnosed with cancer and went through treatment, so I was worried that ruined my chances for another baby even though my doctors assured me that most likely wasn’t the case. Now that I am pregnant again with good betas, my fears have turned to the pregnancy bringing the cancer back. Don’t get me wrong, I am overjoyed that I’m pregnant, just trying to cope with all of the different emotions.

    3. Any appointment updates?
    I have my first u/s on 6/26

    4. Rants/Raves/Questions? none now

    5. GTKY: If you could live your life as a fictional character, who would you be?
I usually say hermione granger for this one as well because I love her brains and her loyalty to her friends.
