Re: TTCAL week of June 11
What is something that you are struggling with this week? 2ww is excruciating and I have no idea right now whether I should be optimistic or not. My charts are all over the place.
What is going well for you this week? I'm off to a good start with my work hours, but that's only good if I work Thursday as well.
R/R? My job has been so erratic lately, I'm lucky to get 10 hours in a week. It's really bad for my finances, and getting a new job is so hard.
GTKY: Describe your current favorite pair of shoes. I had a pair of black Tory Burch flats I loved. Till they got ruined by dog shit at that same job....
GTKY: Describe your current favorite pair of shoes. I cant even wear them anymore, but cream and peachy floral pumps. I also cant bring myself to get rid of them despite the fact that I don't think any amount of weight loss will allow them to fit.
@projectalice TWW is so confusing after loss. On 1 hand you want to be hopeful but then the other side is worry about another loss. Can you replace the flats? I love black flats and would be devastated if my favorite were ruined (first I have to find a fave lol)
GTKY: Describe your current favorite pair of shoes. I like to look at shoes but don’t own anything to amazing because I won’t spend money on them. I live in flip flops

We jumped the gun and started trying based on CM. timing kind of stinky (only -2) but started temping again after seeing mucus to see if I would actually O. Looks like I did based on temp climbing the last couple days and temp patterns for previous cycles (which i know means diddly AL, but needed to grab onto something). Thankfully the HPT is negative now so I can know it would be new and not residual HCG.

@prpl11butterfly - I'm glad you're doing better right now and can breathe easier! And now I need to see these shoes. Floral pumps sound awesome! I never go anywhere that's dressy enough to wear something like that, but I just love shoes....

@prpl11butterfly Enjoy the time of breathing easy! Those shoes are killer.
@kindbytealikat First cycle back is nerve-wracking. Hopefully you didn't O too early.
@catlady2015 My doc advised me to wait a cycle but even she admitted it was only for dating purposes, not for any health reasons. If you're ready, you're ready so I don't blame you at all for going for it this cycle
@mschanandlerbong1214 Pregnancy announcements are so hard. I am still off social media at this point just to avoid any. Hope you get some answers from your bloodwork.

GTKY: Describe your current favorite pair of shoes. I wear the same pair of black flats to work almost every day, haha. They are so comfortable! I'm very boring when it comes to shoes.
Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: had a CP in April.
I’m so sorry I’ve been MIA all week, but I’ve been lurking. I worked a bunch of overtime and we finally closed on the new house. We get the keys today! Also, in the FW so trying to HIO this weekend. I’m feeling cautiously optimistic about this cycle as CM is back. It was very scant last cycle after the CP.
GTKY: Describe your current favorite pair of shoes.
I have a pair of Adidas tennis shoes that are black uppers and leopard print soles. I get lots of compliments on them and they are super comfy. They are part of my weekend uniform along with lulu leggings
@prpl11butterfly Cute shoes! Between those and the nail polish you posted, I feel like you are much more stylish than me lol.
@catlady2015 My doctor wanted me to wait a cycle afterwards as well, which I thought was dumb. I hope this one is a lucky one for you, even with stinky timing.
@diaphena you cant go wrong with black flats. I'm still trying to finally a pair to love but I have a simple Walmart pair that get the job done for now.
@suzycupcake they actually came from payless.....

Hi guys. I realize this thread is pretty much done for the week so I hope you don't mind me reviving it for a bit of a vent. I am having a really rough few TTCAL days. I had that BFN a few days ago and have been spotting for a couple days just like I usually do before my period and I fully expect that to show up by tomorrow. So I'm already in a bit of a bummer mood to start with. Then DH got a call from his little sister on Friday to finalize plans for Father's Day, and also told us on the phone then that she's pregnant. My initial reaction was to be genuinely, truly thrilled (I think I blew her eardrums out on the phone screaming haha) and I really am happy for her and so excited to have a little niece or nephew. But the sadness for myself has set in fully in the 2 days since and I am just a wreck today. I had to back out of our plans with FIL and the rest of the family and let DH go by himself because I couldn't handle it. I feel like an asshole but I figure pretending to be sick is better than showing up and unintentionally making the day about myself because I can't control my emotions. Ugh.
It just sucks so much. His family don't know that we had a loss - my parents know, but not the rest of my family, and a few of our friends know. Some days I wish I could just scream out at people and make them feel it all with me. But obviously today was not the day for sharing anything like that. I really just didn't feel like I could sit there and pretend that I'd never been pregnant before. And that I'm not ~*supposed*~ to be 5 months pregnant right now. Just couldn't do it today. Hopefully next time I'll be in a better frame of mind to see her.
Whew. Bless any of you who read this whole mess, I appreciate it. DH's sister asked us not to share the news with anyone outside of the immediate family so I didn't feel right to vent to anyone in my real life.
@TJtheGoat FX for you this cycle, CM being back sounds like a good sign! And finally closing on a house is the best feeling, congrats!
@sparklingdiamond Comfort is king when it comes to shoes for me too
@prpl11butterfly Yep, now that I have a good pair of black flats, I'm basically going to wear them to death haha. Zappos is a good way to try a bunch of different brands to see which works best
