Re: TTCAL week of June 11

  • How are things going? Meh.
What is something that you are struggling with this week? 2ww is excruciating and I have no idea right now whether I should be optimistic or not. My charts are all over the place.
What is going well for you this week? I'm off to a good start with my work hours, but that's only good if I work Thursday as well.
R/R? My job has been so erratic lately, I'm lucky to get 10 hours in a week. It's really bad for my finances, and getting a new job is so hard.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Tomorrow I go for a consult at a fertility clinic.

GTKY: Describe your current favorite pair of shoes. I had a pair of black Tory Burch flats I loved. Till they got ruined by dog shit at that same job....

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with this week? What is going well for you this week? R/R? I'm doing okay right now. Being CD11 and days away from O is helping my mood. I have a few other things going well and I just cant help but feel like things are coming together and its allowing me to breathe easy for a bit.nm

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Nothing

GTKY: Describe your current favorite pair of shoes. I cant even wear them anymore, but cream and peachy floral pumps. I also cant bring myself to get rid of them despite the fact that I don't think any amount of weight loss will allow them to fit.

@projectalice TWW is so confusing after loss. On 1 hand you want to be hopeful but then the other side is worry about another loss. Can you replace the flats? I love black flats and would be devastated if my favorite were ruined (first I have to find a fave lol)

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with this week? What is going well for you this week? R/R?I a bag of nerves but otherwise I’m ok. This is our first cycle back at TTC. DH is annoyingly hopeful and optimistic, but is trying to be understanding to why I’m not. Also had a big temp spike this morning, but I don’t ever O this early. If I did happen to O we’re screwed because DH has been out with his back so nothing has happened here. I think it has more to do with really lousy sleep last night.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Nope

GTKY: Describe your current favorite pair of shoes.  I like to look at shoes but don’t own anything to amazing because I won’t spend money on them. I live in flip flops

  • Status: actually trying again, technically tww. Supposed to wait till after first cycle. Oopsies (not so sorry!)

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with this week? What is going well for you this week? R/R?
We jumped the gun and started trying based on CM. timing kind of stinky (only -2) but started temping again after seeing mucus to see if I would actually O. Looks like I did based on temp climbing the last couple days and temp patterns for previous cycles (which i know means diddly AL, but needed to grab onto something). Thankfully the HPT is negative now so I can know it would be new and not residual HCG.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Nope.

GTKY: Describe your current favorite pair of shoes. My Tieks ballet flats. <3 Super comfy, foldable to serve as emergency flats, and come in a ton of colors! Super easy to slip on in the summer - i usually live in tennis shoes when out so love having a cute fast slip on option.

  • @projectalice - I'm sorry your job has been so inconsistent! I hope your consult goes well tomorrow!

@prpl11butterfly - I'm glad you're doing better right now and can breathe easier! And now I need to see these shoes. Floral pumps sound awesome! I never go anywhere that's dressy enough to wear something like that, but I just love shoes....

  • @catlady2015 threw them on just for this. My poor baby toes are a bit smooshed but God I love them. If I wore these to work, I'm not sure who would die first, me due to injury or the salesman cause, tbh, my legs look AH-MAZING!

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Im in the process of getting tests done with a reproductive endo, had blood work last week and have more on monday to find out if I’m ovulating.

  • @projectalice Looking for work is such a pain. I hope you're able to get more hours this week.

@prpl11butterfly Enjoy the time of breathing easy! Those shoes are killer.

@kindbytealikat First cycle back is nerve-wracking. Hopefully you didn't O too early.

@catlady2015 My doc advised me to wait a cycle but even she admitted it was only for dating purposes, not for any health reasons. If you're ready, you're ready so I don't blame you at all for going for it this cycle :)

@mschanandlerbong1214 Pregnancy announcements are so hard. I am still off social media at this point just to avoid any.  Hope you get some answers from your bloodwork.

    One loss this past March.

Status: TWW, probably just waiting for my period at this point. BFN today and what might be 10 DPO or so - not temping so I'm not sure. 10 DPO is FF's guess based on my average cycle length.

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with this week? What is going well for you this week? R/R? I'm doing alright. Staying busy this week which has helped me to not be entirely consumed by TWW BSC, haha. I was happy with the decision not to temp these last few cycles, but I think I'll get back to it next time. This whole guessing game without it is getting annoying. I took a test on a whim this afternoon because I'm a crazy person, and also so I could make sure it was okay to have wine tonight. Weirdly, I'm disappointed and relieved at the same time about the BFN. Part of me is super ready to be pregnant again and another part of me is really scared to go through it again.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Nope

GTKY: Describe your current favorite pair of shoes. I wear the same pair of black flats to work almost every day, haha. They are so comfortable! I'm very boring when it comes to shoes.

I’m so sorry I’ve been MIA all week, but I’ve been lurking. I worked a bunch of overtime and we finally closed on the new house. We get the keys today! Also, in the FW so trying to HIO this weekend. I’m feeling cautiously optimistic about this cycle as CM is back. It was very scant last cycle after the CP.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Nope

GTKY: Describe your current favorite pair of shoes.
I have a pair of Adidas tennis shoes that are black uppers and leopard print soles. I get lots of compliments on them and they are super comfy. They are part of my weekend uniform along with lulu leggings :sunglasses:
  • @projectalice Im sorry about the work stress. That is very tough to worry about hours. I hope that you can stay busy in the upcoming week.

@prpl11butterfly Cute shoes! Between those and the nail polish you posted, I feel like you are much more stylish than me lol.

@catlady2015 My doctor wanted me to wait a cycle afterwards as well, which I thought was dumb. I hope this one is a lucky one for you, even with stinky timing.
  • @TJtheGoat bahahaha. Do not think that! I am by no means stylish. Generally my finger nails are bare (I do not have the time for that ish). My last job was tshirt and jeans and even a year later, I'm still trying to figure out how to work this "dressy casual" situation. Some days I rock and other I'm basically a hot mess :joy:

@diaphena you cant go wrong with black flats. I'm still trying to finally a pair to love but I have a simple Walmart pair that get the job done for now.

@suzycupcake they actually came from payless.....
  • @TJtheGoat - congrats on the house closing! How exciting! I'm hoping for copious CM and good timing for you and YH!

  • Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es), diagnosis/conditions surrounding loss, etc.  I have had a CP, a m/c around 7 weeks, and a stillbirth at 32 weeks.

Status: I think I finally ovulated.  So that's good.  I still feel like my body is playing some kind of trick on me though and it didn't actually happen.

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with this week? What is going well for you this week? R/R?  I just am not sleeping well and it's frustrating.  It makes me feel like my temps aren't at all reliable or anything.

Any testing coming up/any recent results?  No.  If I don't get pregnant this cycle, I am hoping to do some bloodwork on CD 3.

GTKY: Describe your current favorite pair of shoes. I am all about comfort, so I like my tennis shoes lol.
  • @prpl11butterfly Wow, great find. I've found some pretty nice sandals there in the past. I should revisit. Thanks!

@TJtheGoat Congrats on closing! A whirlwind isn't it? Get ready for date nights at lowes and home depot :D

  • OKAY! Now I just want to post like normal! :)

@TJtheGoat FX for you this cycle, CM being back sounds like a good sign! And finally closing on a house is the best feeling, congrats!

@sparklingdiamond Comfort is king when it comes to shoes for me too :) Hope you did O and you're able to get some clarity from your temps this cycle.

@prpl11butterfly Yep, now that I have a good pair of black flats, I'm basically going to wear them to death haha. Zappos is a good way to try a bunch of different brands to see which works best :)
  • @diaphena Thank you! I’m pretty sure yesterday was O day, so it’s not going to be a long cycle month which is awesome. I know what you mean about the holidays being extra hard. My loss was two weeks before Mother’s Day and we had planned to tell the family at that point. So that morning we were having brunch and everyone was fawning over all the moms and I was dying inside. No one in BFs family knows about it, so I had to try to pretend to be happy. I hope you start to feel a little better after today.
  • @TJtheGoat Thank you. Now that I've had some time to process I feel better.  <3 The holidays make everything more raw and it really is hard to sit there with a happy face on. I'm sorry your mother's day was so rough.
  • @diaphena I wish I could give you a huge hug right now. It's so hard to be in that spot. Good job and knowing what you need though and taking care of yourself.
