  • @mtpbadger YAY! That is so exciting. It's the best thing ever to get your baby home and snuggle up to them outside the hospital. Fingers crossed she keeps kicking butt.
  • @mtpbadger I can relate on some level- my twins were born 6 weeks early and my son was 3 lb 14 oz- My twins spent 28 days in the NICU. It can be so hard and stressful! I primarily stayed at the beside during their entire stay so I can't imagine how hard it must be working! I'm a NICU nurse myself but it was a real eye opener being on the other side of things. To the others I posted awhile back while pregnant and posted my story on the multiples forum. My twins are just over 6 weeks and things are busy but going well at home. I can relate to the not so fun times of pumping! I pumped around the clock 7-9 times a day during the month my twins were in the NICU. I have been tandem breastfeeding for about 5 weeks. I pump 4-5 times a day now at home. Have close to 200 oz frozen so far. I'm trying to build a big stash for two babies for just in case! My goal is to breastfeed as long as possible but take it week by week. It's hard work for sure. Pumping is a habit now since I stuck to that routine in the NICU. But it's still time consuming for sure. Congrats to all the mamas out there! And special shout out to any twin or preemie moms!
