Motherhood is put to shame... God would also be ashamed to create such moms who are using such words for an unborn being... Imagine how would u feel if ur little ones are called like this.... How is motherhood put to shame that we aren't all trained ultrasound techs? Based on our limited/untrained abilities to read ultrasounds the guesses offered are about as accurate as you can get. To paraphrase the lovely @galactickates, if your doctor &/or ultrasound tech are unable to answer this for you why do you think a bunch of pregnant ladies on the internet would be more informed than they are? You asked for guesses as to what your ultrasound shows; guesses were provided. What more were you looking for? Andplusalso why are you going on about how we all should be ashamed for responding to the question you asked? This has nothing to do with humanity or empathy OP.

I'm curious which words you think God would be ashamed of us using... woodpecker? (is it because it has the word pecker in it?) *giggling like a 10 year old* or velociraptor? pterodactyl? or maybe it's puppy? (<-- FYI all are God's creatures whether extinct or not and I doubt he'd be ashamed of any one of them.)

I am constantly referring to my LO as a velociraptor or t-rex... pretty sure it has ZERO effect on his/her development or well being, but I'm not a doctor, we'll just have to pray it has no future ill-effects. I'll keep ya posted.

Uhh, I joked that my own u/s looked like a bunny rabbit last week, it was so blurry. It's far too early to even discern human characteristics in an u/s at this point, let alone anything related to sex.

We each have to give up a lot of things during pregnancy, but our sense of humor doesn't have to be one of them.

If you care so much about what God would say about all of this, why don’t you only care about what God gives you - boy or girl - and stop spamming different boards with the same question? We don’t know. We’re not God. How dare you use God’s name to judge those you have zero interest in getting to know except for receiving some attention from them? @rihaana I'm a very strong Christian and I would never say something like this. Please do not use the name of God as a reason to demean other women. That makes you no better. I can honestly say that God would be ashamed of you, for not only saying something like this to other Christian women, but to non-christians as well. We are all imperfect, so do not begin to cast a stone at others. Comments like that are why people are often more hurt by Christians than anyone else. Get ahold of yourself and have some grace and kindness.

They were answers. Answers to question you asked. Where they answers you sought? No, but that doesn't take the fact away that you posted it in 3 different BMB within 10 minutes of each other as @lurvleybunchococonuts
mentioned and was not addressed. If you want the answer you seek, send it in to Ramzi for their evaluation. Not to women who don't even know what they're having yet because 1. too early, 2. not a sonographer, and 3. not God.

A guess is still just a guess. You have a 50/50 shot. Will it change anything either way? You either have a girl or boy in there and so what? What does it matter? Are you going to love one less than the other? Will you say "well crap I don't want this baby now"? Of course not. So wait a few months to find out. Just be grateful you have a baby that you will hopefully get to take home. As someone who has had that dream ripped away from them a few times now I don't care if this baby is a boy, girl or squirrel. I'm just glad I have it.

This may be popular in some forums, though it's beyond me who would think guessing the sex of a complete stranger's baby based on a blurry 6 week ultrasound picture is "fun." However, on this forum, you'll find we tend to be very pro- science, and anti - pseudoscience. Ramzi definitely falls into the latter category. Thus, the responses to Ramzi questions generally fall into the category of "ask a silly question, get a silly answer."

No one blew it out of proportion until you came back and said we should all be ashamed of ourselves and went on a tangent about God being ashamed of us as mothers and how empathy is dying and how humanity is put to shame... because we answered the question you asked. That is blowing it out of proportion. Offering silly answers to a silly question is not blowing it out of proportion.

A lot of us find these posts extremely AWish and useless. It's not like you're going to go paint your nursery because of what strangers on the internet are guessing. Or maybe you are?

I mean look.... we all are excited to know the sex of our baby, if Ramzi was a "thing" here there would be a pinned thread already about it. Trust me. But there isn't for a good reason. If you want to show off your U/S... we have a U/S thread that you're more then welcome to post in but you won't find anyone indulging your Ramzi theory here. It's not how we roll.

People are annoyed because this board is about building relationships with people and giving support and advice to get it in turn. When you do a drive by post just looking to get something it makes you look obnoxious and selfish. Hopefully you don't take that attitude with your friendships IRL.

1) those answers wouldn't hurt me. I flat out stated previously I often refer to my LO as a velociraptor/t-rex.
2) I didn't provide those answers, so no, I didn't hurt anyone. So there is nothing for me to "understand." What I did was pointed out you spammed two different BMBs with the SAME thread and was curious why.
