Still getting in some of my workouts, and including lots of stretching. Can't wait to be able to freely move my body again! Muscle tone is all gone in my arms because I haven't been doing a lot of strength training, mostly just trying to get in some cardio. Dancing has been interesting with the big old belly having a gravity field of it's own!
Barely hanging in there. Basically alternating slow incline walking on the treadmill and slow peddling on a stationary bike. Hoping to bob around in the pool this weekend.

I do wall squats sometimes but it's hard. Still trying to get my steps in and we're still outside trying to be active during the weekends. Once I'm on leave I'll focus on prenatal yoga.
I'm pretty much only doing yoga at this point, and shamefully counting taking caring of DS and nanny kids as "excercise," lol. Mid June I can finally get more classes in. I've been staying solid with my normal Vinyasa class, I just can't "fly" anymore which is sad, and get to add a second one on now. I need to add on a prenatal Yoga class though, it's been so hard to make it on a Sunday evening I just found a "Chair yoga" class at my gym that I'm excited to try once my work starts to lessen. Figured that would be manageable all the way until the big day, and a good way to ease back into it postpartum.
Yoga once a week, gym once a week , but I've just been SO LAZY. I made it to Zumba yesterday and I'm so limited, but it was worth the 7k steps. I'm just too damn lazy to drag myself anywhere, but once I'm in I'm still doing ok. It's not even that I'm tired, it's that I have no desire of moving, though when I start a workout I'm good to go.
Amazingly I have no hip/back pain or any other issues so I should really take advantage and go to the gym 2x week not just once.
I try to get between 6-10k steps a day and I've been good with those at least.
Oh, I went to spin last week at 34 weeks and yeah, no, didn't feel great. I can't bend over for push-ups and such so I only stayed for 45 minutes. Still good cardio, but I'd rather do Zumba.
Still averaging 1-2 workout classes a week and trying to get my steps in. Sticking to reformer Pilates and weight training. I gave up on spin about a month ago since I didn’t feel comfortable doing push ups or tap backs. I tend to lose my balance easily and just don’t want to risk it. Plus I had Charley horse leg cramps in my calves every night for a week after that. My midwife said spin is just tough on the body at this point. I’ve definitely noticed my thighs aren’t as toned but what can you do?!
@krystlerr Oh my gosh, yes, the thighs. I'm pear shaped and have always had full thighs but had finally gotten them to a good place before getting pregnant again. So not looking forward to the work that will go into getting that tone back. At all. Sooo much running
@d_marie_23 I totally get it! I was a regular spinner and did a lot of hiit workouts prepregnancy. I just went to try on some clothes at Nordstrom and the fitting room lighting highlighted all the softness. Lol. Definitely going to be in for it to get the tone back. I asked for a peloton bike as a push present from my husband. Kind of far fetched but fingers crossed! Haha. It’ll all be worth it once the little ones are in our arms!
Still doing my prenatal weight training and low-impact aerobics vids when I can. The thing is, I can only work out in the early mornings, and this week I was too fatigued to get up in time. I try to make up for it by taking three 10-minute walks a day and/or getting to 7,000 steps. Today I did a little aerobics. Will try to get back into it next week!
I froze my orangetheory membership a couple weeks ago. It was getting to be too much for me. Now I am just doing nightly walks with my son (he rides his bike), and some stretching/ yoga. I've also had some sciatica issues so full blown workouts are just not happening. I can't wait to finish being pregnant and get my body back!
I was running up until a week ago, did spin up until a week ago. Yesterday I walked about 1.5 miles and had what felt like one huge braxton hicks contraction the entire time. Oy. Still meeting my step goal though! Trying to be active daily.
Went to my workout saturday because gym rival was teaching and asked me to come, ugh, I was totally planning on skipping it. Skipped last night because my foot is killing me, to the point I'm actually wondering if I have a stress fracture, but I'm too stupid/stubborn/lazy to go get it checked out. Really hoping to stay active for a little while longer!
@runsomewhere LOL. She's pretty freaking awesome. When I first started going there, I was seriously overweight and worked out in the back of the class. As I got more comfortable, matching her became my goal so she was my pace setter for a while. Once I got the weight off, BAM, suddenly we were in a constant game of "anything you can do, I can do better" and work out next to each other. It's actually lot of fun and she's been a huge support this whole pregnancy, and I'm so looking forward to working out at her level again. Her and her stupid six pack abs. The whole thing is funny because I'm just not a competitive person.
I somehow made it to the gym yesterday and did a strength circuit deisgned by me:) I was surprised to still lift a "decent" amount of weight - nothing under 10 lbs. The TRX has become my best friends for life squats. I just squat all the way down to the floor and hang from the straps. Good to get the hips to open and the baby to stay head down
@kissableviv thanks for sharing the TRX squat idea, I love squats and this sounds like the perfect modification. Each time I squat down to pick up DD I fear I might not be able to get back up lol.
Also, I took DD to the Oakland Zoo on Friday. OMG I never realized how hilly that place is! The baby is in my lungs and I was huffing and puffing like never before It really bums me out to struggle physically, though all the steps I got in were satisfying.
Next week I'm officially on leave and starting prenatal yoga which I am super excited about. I want to find something really good that will hopefully prepare me for labor and delivery.
