@darkstar42 they did an endometrial biopsy, it was done in the office and over super quick.

@50Wife I can't believe you're still waiting for the results. I'm doing major eyerolls right alongside you.
@oklahomak I highly recommend going to an RE, and at the least, seeing if you can be monitored by your OB/GYN. Have you had an HSG, semen analysis? Before pursuing more treatment, I'd also highly recommend them. I have PCOS as well, and I got that dx from my OB/GYN. She offered to put me on Clomid, but I decided to transfer to an RE and it was definitely a good choice because it turns out I don't respond to oral ovulation induction medications. I found that out because the RE monitored me throughout the cycle (BW and U/S every few days, starting with the day after I finished letrozole), and we could see that no follicles were growing. Most people with PCOS will respond to Letrozole or Clomid, but sometimes it takes a higher dose, and in some instances you don't respond. Like @emmasemm said, if you aren't being monitored, you can't know exactly when you should add in the estradiol, progesterone, or trigger. CDs are pretty arbitrary since some people O earlier and some people O later. I think with the estradiol, my RE has never added it to my protocol until trigger day because it can stunt follicle growth if it's added to your cycle too early (I *think* that's the reason). Femara is typically days 3-7, but for me the days I add in estradiol, progesterone, and trigger are a little different from cycle to cycle.

@madspunk it’s actually endometritis (not to be confused with endometriosis) although it commonly is. Endometritis is an infection/inflammation in your uterine lining. It gets treated with a course of antibiotics. But it can cause CPs and impact implantation if it’s not treated. How are you doing during your TWW? Are you gonna test?
@beachbunnyxo123 oh, I see. I didn’t know that was a thing! I’m glad they found it and can treat it! I’m doing okay. Staying busy - reading lots, gardening, and I have acupuncture tomorrow which I’m looking forward to. I’m planning on testing Wednesday, 12 dpo, so I still have awhile to go!
@KristoKekerooni How did the intralipids end up going? Hopefully your H was gentle! Well wishes for Monday.

My RE called today to talk about some things. Looks like I’ll be on a no-carb diet once I start stims so that’ll be super fun. She also mentioned that she wants to try to get the FET done before I go back to school the first week of August (previously we had talked that it would have to be later.). So we’ll see.

AFM I had my baseline BW and US yesterday and everything looks good so I started the estrace vaginally last night. I took it orally last fET cycle but vaginally helps with thicker lining so I’m excited about that. I’m also on doxycycline twice a day until transfer and will start Benadryl 3x a day when I start my PIO injections. Getting excited!

@beachbunnyxo123 So is your dx now chronic endometriosis instead of unexplained? GL at the baseline appt.
@50Wife I can't believe you're still waiting for the results. I'm doing major eyerolls right alongside you.
@oklahomak I highly recommend going to an RE, and at the least, seeing if you can be monitored by your OB/GYN. Have you had an HSG, semen analysis? Before pursuing more treatment, I'd also highly recommend them. I have PCOS as well, and I got that dx from my OB/GYN. She offered to put me on Clomid, but I decided to transfer to an RE and it was definitely a good choice because it turns out I don't respond to oral ovulation induction medications. I found that out because the RE monitored me throughout the cycle (BW and U/S every few days, starting with the day after I finished letrozole), and we could see that no follicles were growing. Most people with PCOS will respond to Letrozole or Clomid, but sometimes it takes a higher dose, and in some instances you don't respond.
Like @emmasemm said, if you aren't being monitored, you can't know exactly when you should add in the estradiol, progesterone, or trigger. CDs are pretty arbitrary since some people O earlier and some people O later. I think with the estradiol, my RE has never added it to my protocol until trigger day because it can stunt follicle growth if it's added to your cycle too early (I *think* that's the reason). Femara is typically days 3-7, but for me the days I add in estradiol, progesterone, and trigger are a little different from cycle to cycle.

@purplg8r that’s exciting that she wants to move on the FET. Any reason she said no carbs during stimming? I’ve heard high protein diets help with follicle growth but wasn’t sure about the no carbs. How long are they anticipating you being on BCPs for?

AFM I had my baseline BW and US yesterday and everything looks good so I started the estrace vaginally last night. I took it orally last fET cycle but vaginally helps with thicker lining so I’m excited about that. I’m also on doxycycline twice a day until transfer and will start Benadryl 3x a day when I start my PIO injections. Getting excited!
AFM...I basically want to throw up at all moments. I'm guessing my portal will be updated before a phone call. Unless the news is bad then they might call before uploading. So yea, just a ball of nerves.
