Hello Ladies! I am 27 years old and live in California. I have a 3.5 year old daughter and while I wasn't particularly active in our November 2014 group, once we migrated to Facebook I became more involved. Our group there is still very active and I am able to go to them with anything going on in my life. We are all quite close.
Anyway, based on conception date, it looks like I am due January 27. We are cautiously optimistic and excited. I am feeling much more prepared this pregnancy as the last job I held was working as an admin assistant at an OB/GYN practice for a couple years. I got to work with doctors a lot during that job and I learned a ton about pregnancy and how pregnancy goes from a clinical perspective. I dont know everything for sure, but I just feel much more knowledgable than I did during the pregnancy with my daughter.
I am happy to be here, and I hope to be a part of an awesome community again!
Woohoo first post and first time mama. DD is Jan 9th and we could not be more excited! It’s really hard waiting to get to our 8wk apppintment to see the little one.

Hi guys! My husband (33) and I (31) got our BFP on May 19th and the estimated due date is January 22nd. I have PCOS and Hashimoto's Thyroiditis so I've struggled with weight and hormone issues, among other things, and didn't know if I would ever be able to get pregnant or not. I can't believe that I finally get to be part of a birth month club! We could not be more thrilled that we were able to make our dreams happen (and completely naturally to top it off!) I'm so excited to share in this experience with you all! Sending postitive vibes for sticky babies for us all. ♥
Hi everyone, I'm new here and new to these forums and acronyms. This is our first pregnancy at the ripe old age of 38 and 49 respectively for me and my husband, but I'll be 39 by the end of October. It looks like after our fourth (I think it was only four) round of IUI, we are expecting around 15 January. It only took us three years to get to this point, so we're ready to see where the road takes us.
Hey Girls! I’m Bibi, 32, I’m from Brasil and 6 weeks preggers with my husband and my first child! I had two birth control implants back to back for 8 years and was expecting at least a 1/2 year period so my body could regulate its cycles. Had it removed April 27th, ovulatate a week later. I was having some light spotting (which I tough was AF) and went to get those routine hormone blood tests and the numbers were crazy! I ran to the bathroom to get a HPT, got a very faint positive, went straight to get a blood HCG. it was only 15lm, so my Doc told me to retake it the next day and a few days after. Surely enough, although it’s still low, it’s quadrupuling every few days! We’re going in for our first US in a few days and I’m half longing half dreading it... it still doesn’t feel very real and so scare the doc is going to tell us we had an early miscarriage. If it’s all well we should be due around Jan 20th!
Hi everyone! I’m 33, and my DH is 36. We got married in October and left it up to God’s timing for when we’d get pregnant. We do not have any kids. We have a 15-year old black cat named Trouble who enjoys catnapping, playing with his toy mouse, talking to us, and he adores my DH.
We got pregnant in November and had a miscarriage on January 1st. I didn’t have an US until 9wks when I started spotting and cramping, and my doc thought I was only 4-5wks along because she only saw a gestational sac.
It was heartbreaking and painful.
So we decided it’ll happen in God’s timing, and on May 1st we got our BFP! As of today I am 7w3d. We had our first US on 6w1d and got the heartbeat too. It’s still hard to trust and believe that this little bundle of joy is real and that it won’t end in sadness. I’m continually asking for God’s peace over this pregnancy. I’m certainly having lots of pregnancy symptoms (more than last time) so that helps reassure me even though I’m non-enthused about the persistent nausea!
We live in Texas and our due date is January 9th, 2019. I pray all our pregnancies go well and we all have healthy babies in January!
Hey, I'm 37 years old and was super shocked to find out I was pregnant because I was told it was very unlikely due to my age and other health problems... I am 6wks today and am just hoping for the best.
Hello! I'm 38yo and expecting my 1st January 11th! My husband I have been together for 8+ years and have been married since November. We are a happy little family living in Tampa, FL with our Greyhound doggo. We cannot wait for our little blueberry to get here!
Hi everyone! I got my BFP 9dpo. I am due January 22nd. This will be my 4th child but 6th pregnancy. I am so excited for this lil blessing, can not wait until the 1st ultrasound!!!
Coming in here to escape another January birth month group I was with got called selfish and mean for no reason... anyways I'm a second time mom I have a beautiful 2 year old and I'm 6weeks 6 days pregnant!!
Hi! I’m Janie. This pregnancy was kind of a surprise. I’m 37 and our DDs will be 5 and 9 in January. I had pre-e with DD1 and gestational diabetes with DD2. I’m really focused and motivated to exercise and eat well this time. I’m happy to be here.
Hi everyone! My name is Olivia. I’m 27 and currently pregnant with my rainbow baby after a miscarriage last March (2017). I have a 2.5 year old sweet baby boy and we are due with this baby January 11 (according to my period). We have an US scheduled for next Monday and I am praying we see a sweet little heartbeat!
Hello everyone, I'm sareej521! I'm 30 and my husband will be turning 32 shortly. We have 2 beautiful little girls ages 5y and 20 months and this *hopefully* sticky baby was a bit of a surprise! Due around the 20th
Hi everyone! I am new to the Bump and a FTM.. I'm 24 and SO is 27 got my BFP 5/6 and have been trying hard to stop taking tests lol! First US is next Thursday so hoping and praying for the best. Nice to meet you all!
Hi all! Brand new and cautiously excited to be here! I'm 25 and the boyfriend (acronyms are taking some getting used to) is 27. Got a BFP on 5/23 after a miscarriage in April. No visit from AF in between, so we didn't know if it was leftover hormones or a new one - we got the call today that we're for sure expecting! So happy to get our rainbow baby and just doing everything I can to make this lil' bean stick. Sending all mamas the best and hoping for a happy 9 months for all
Hi there! 38 y/o STM. BFP TODAY!! Really can't believe this is for real, sorry...still reeling from this. It's so hard to focus right now, I work at home and nothing is getting done today!
MH is 35 and we've been trying for #2 since last August. Saw the doc @ my OB's office last month for infertility options, did the u/s, bloodwork, then an HSG at the beginning of this month. Then a week after that the doctor called me, while I was sitting in my therapist's office, and told me I had heightened FSH and androgens. So, probable declining ovarian reserve and PCOS, and I should contact a fertility center ASAP. Clearly, MH & I were beside ourselves and very confused. It was so easy to get pregnant the first time! Granted it was 5 years ago and we've both aged, I just didn't think we were done yet. So we had the appt with the fertility center, all bad news, you know, probably gonna have to do IVF, get in shape, do the work, you know: get there. To make matters worse, my best friend, who is a year younger than I, was also trying to get pregnant, was about to start fertility drugs last month and found out she was pregnant and is already in her second trimester! So that was obviously adding to my dissapointment.
So, I've taken several pregnancy tests since my "missed period" and today the second line appeared! I nearly fell off the toilet! YAY BABY #2! Still super early, EDD would be 1/30/19 according to LMP. First OB appt Monday and holy crap, I hope it sticks!
Hi all! I'm nervous to make this post, but saw a heart beat today.... so I guess its an ok time to post an intro! We tried for 10+ years with no pregnancies. Adopted two boys and then got pregnant quickly after our last adoption. It ended in miscarriage. Got pregnant again last month and miscarried at 4w6d. I never got a period after my MC, so.... here we are!
Pretty hilarious that we tried so hard for all those years and now apparently I'm fertile myrtle.
Hopeful and trying to remain calm and stress free! I'm just ready for the point when we get to get excited.
Hi all! Third time mom checking in from CA. I have two DDs and was active in Mar 14 and the magical May 17 board (hey @kns1988!!). This baby was a little bit of a surprise as we weren’t planning for the last two to be so close, but we’re ready for the adventure!
4th time mama joining from North Carolina. 6 weeks and 4 days today. Been lurking for a few weeks and decide I should just take the plunge, haha. Have 3 little girls aged 5, 3 1/2, and 22 months. Was tracking so pretty confident on a January 19th due date.
Hello 3rd time mom just got bfp on Friday, looks like I'm due 1/30. Me and hubby were not trying for a baby anytime soon as I was trying to get back in shape, but we are excited. Anyone here from baby bump?
Hi there January mamas! I am a STM, I have a 5 year old son, and we have struggled with unexplained secondary infertility for the last 4 years. I had a loss exactly one year ago this week that was devastating. But mu initial last two weeks of progesterone and hcg labs are looking very promising with this one, and I am guessing my due date will be around January 10-12, but I will know for sure at my first ultrasound at 10 weeks coming up.
Hi everyone! Im 31 and will be a FTM. My husband and i are super excited! As of right now, my EDD is 1/27.
I had a low hcg test on friday (5/25) which of course has turned me into a nervous wreck. Went back today for another quantitiave test. Fingers crossed for good news!
Im 29 (as of yesterday!), DH is 29 turning 30 this year and we got our first BFP on May 22nd. DD is January 29th based off FDLP. This is our first pregnancy and we are so excited and nervous at the same time! First appointment is June 11th and I am so anxious for it to get here
Hey Mamas, I’m curlygirlygirl - my crazy hair can be spotted from a mile away.
I have a dd and was good about staying away from crazy message boards when I was pregnant with her, but something has drawn me here. Guess we’ll see how it goes.

Hi! Im 30 and DH is 35. We got our super surprise bfp on april 24th and our due (based on various calculators) on January 2nd!
We spent years ttc with no luck and eventually adopted two older children from foster care (our daughter is 13 and our son is 10). Almost exactly a year ago I got a surprise bfp which ended in a loss. We were actually planning to start the adoption process again this summer when we got our bfp! We are praying for a sticky baby and anxiously awaiting our first ultrasound on May 9th.
I’m sure you don’t remember me, but we were on the same month board back on the knot! Hope you’re feeling well, Beautiful!

I'm 46 and expecting our 3rd. To say I'm shocked is an understatement.
Up our oldest is 7. I got an IUD at my 6wk pp visit. Got pregnant with IUD in 2013. That kiddo just turned 4. Had the Essure procedure done at 6wk pp. Just found out I'm pregnant again.
I’m expecting our 4th, who is a surprise baby. I’m due sometime between January 22nd and January 28th.
I’m kind of stressing out because we were planning to start homeschooling our oldest (he’s 10) this coming school year, and then pull out second child (she’s 7) out to homeschool the following school year. I figured our current youngest (she’s 3) would just be homeschool from the start. I’m worried about how this is going to affect that, both in my ability to homeschool and care for a newborn, as well as finances because I won’t be able to cut back on work as much as I’d planned to if we need to save up for maternity and pay for the prenatal care and birth.
We are planning for our 4th homebirth, all with the same amazing midwife.
Hi Ladies. Im Vee. My EDD is January 18 2019. This is our first! We are excited. I am 6 weeks and 6 days and excited for our first prenatatal appt on June 11. So far we are experiencing nausea and only like cereal, cheese, and fruit. Interesting journey so far.
I am finally here after 3 years of TFAS. My son is almost 5. I was very active in my last BMB, left with the exodus (my BMB was already on Facebook anyway) but lost track of the rest of TB after a couple of moves so here I am.
I am just 5 weeks, EDD according to LMP is 1/28ish. I got my BFP last Tuesday. Still in a state of disbelief after trying so long but in retrospect the timing is perfect. My company’s maternity policy just changed so I get 16 weeks at 100% pay, and my son will be out of day care so we won’t have to pay for multiple kids at the same time. We haven told my son yet, we are waiting until the end of the first tri which lines up perfectly with his birthday and party, so we will tell our whole family at the same time. He’s been asking me for a baby for a long time so I can’t wait to see the joy when we tell him.
@hollyandphoenix congratulations on your BFP!! I’m sure your son will be so excited.
Might i suggest, for your own sanity keeping him in daycare if you can when the new baby comes along. I took DD1 out when I had DD2 and I about lost my mind. Sleep deprivation plus an older kiddo who had a ton of energy was not a good combination.
