We got home Sunday. Things are going well. We have been able to sleep a bit. Yesterday we didn’t nap which at 4am and 7am this morning for feedings we both decided that was a mistake. No milk yet either. Been pumping and not getting much. I might not at all due to the Pcos but we will see. We’re doing formula on the nipple with some contraption. Snacks are a must!!! I was always munching on something. Boppy pillow was super helpful too. And a lightweight robe. That’s all lol. Dont be nervous. I know I was as well and it’s one thing I wrote on my labor board. The experience was truly amazing and crazy... your body just takes over and your heart does too.
TTC 4 years. 7 failed IUI's with either Clomid, Femara and/or Trigger Shots. Started IVF journey in February 2017. Polyps removed in May. 1st IVF Transfer September 26th. BFP. Expected due date 6/14/18. Baby boy born 5/25/18 at 6 lb 9 oz. My bundle of joy.
@holls214 hang in there with the pumping. I know how hard it is to pump and not get anything but it took me a few days get even just a few drops and each day there was a little bit more. A newborn doesn’t need much. I think the LC told me that a newborns stomach is the size of a marble so a little bit of breast milk goes a long way.
