I've had really fucked up dreams since reading Dear David. I really don't believe any of what he was saying really happened, but I'm still a scaredy-cat at heart. I think "Duh, that was totally fake....omg, it's so dark in this room....what was that noise? Hello?..... Dear David? "

@eleven_ I sent it to a bunch of people and last night one of our friends wrote me back and was like "WHY?! WHY would you send that to me! I live alone!"

When I wake up in the middle of the night I basically roll over and close my eyes. I'm afraid to look at my clock now!
Also those photos with David coming closer and closer to him freaked me the hell out. Fake or not, still creepy.

We moved on Monday and spent that night at the new house. Last night my husband says to me “I think this house is probably haunted” and proceeds to explain why. I haven’t mentioned Dear David to him, so he doesn’t realize I am already primed and jazzed up about scary shit right now. He does not believe in any of that stuff and he knows how excitable I am, so part of me believes he was just pulling my leg... but come on, man!

@eleven_ he probably doesn’t actually think it is haunted and is likely using the physics of the house and naturally occurring phenomena to tease me. But he has the straightest poker face and I honestly was too appalled at the moment to analyze the motives.

The door from the hall to the garage keeps popping open (not latching correctly and pressure from back door open/closing?) and keeps locking

(maybe someone with a fixation of pushing buttons who also resides with us?)

and the guest room door on that hall closing/ slamming (probably also from air pressure of other doors in the house?).
