Last week, I couldn't get enough of my peanut butter rice krispie treats. I stopped making them because it was getting ridiculous. But I really really want to eat some NOW. Ugh. I hate being good.
I made myself oatmeal with cinnamon, brown sugar and real cream for breakfast. It hit the spot today.
I made a turkey sausage, egg, and english muffin sandwich for breakfast. YUM!
Also, all the cravings for feta cheese these last few days. I haven't gone out to pick any up, so craving unfulfilled.
This is really specific to the midwest (I think) but I really want one of those apple muffin things from the Hardees breakfast menu from WAY back in the day! I haven't had one in probably 15 years LOL but I thought of it and wish it still existed.
Ive actually been loving fruit and salad. Not sure they’ve been true cravings (or that I’ve had any true cravings yet) but that is all much more appetizing than it used to be. I also had a frozen Mexican meal from Amy’s for lunch today and as soon as I started to smell it I was so excited. It tasted amazing!
I'm going out for my birthday tonight and I usually make my husband take me somewhere fancy but tonight all I want is pizza and ice cream! Pretty excited but I hope H doesn't think that having ice cream for dessert gets him off the hook for also buying me a birthday cake :-)
I dunno if I said this in the last thread but my favorite drink currently is ginger ale and orange juice. My husband thinks I'm insane but its so good and helps with tummy stuff

I got pregnant on doing low carb. So far I’ve been able to keep that up (per OB’s) recommendations. This week I’m just more hungry than anything. Pretty much just buying all the food and getting full after 6 bites is how I’m rolling.
I got really annoyed with DH because he threw out a mostly full bag of Lay's potato chips. I tried not to get too mad because he was cleaning the kitchen when he did it, but it was one of the only snacks I've been actually wanting to eat lately. We try to eat reasonably healthy and the best way for us to do that is to just not have snacks like that in the house. His aunt bought them when we were staying with her last weekend and sent them home with us, so I do understand why he thought it would be fine to just get rid of them, but I'm pregnant now and he should know better lol.
@Ghostie625 - i understand! I'm going through my pantry this afternoon and hiding all the good snacks (like my Fritos!). FIL is visiting this weekend and I don't want to have to share!
sweetyjenj omg Hardees!!!! Also Southern. My best friends mom growing up would always drive us to get the cinnamon raisin cinnamon rolls from there.
I haven't had too many cravings and have managed to eat some extra fruits and vegetables lately. But I'm not the world's healthiest eater normally, so maybe my standards are just low? Like wanting ice cream and chips is normal for me? lol
Everything. I’m eating way too much. Nausea hasn’t hit the same way that it did with DD (by this point I had no appetite at night time and would only eat a tiny dinner). With DD my appetite was decreased for my whole pregnancy. I could only eat small amounts of certain foods. I’m a bit nervous because I’m not doing a great job of self monitoring and since I’m alreasy overweight and heavier than I was with DD I need to get it together.

I ate way too much McDonalds breakfast this morning. I'm at work all by myself and I decided I HAD to eat the big breakfast which includes the hot cakes.
I’m a little sad - we just went to a first birthday party and I couldn’t even finish my cupcake even though it was a delicious Georgetown cupcake. Recently most food just isn’t appetizing or makes me feel gross.
I was trying to keep it as healthy as possible, but broke down and ordered Chinese delivery last night. I am ALL ABOUT these orange chicken leftovers right now.
I’ve been eating chicken pot pies from Aldi. They’re only 79 cents and they don’t have a strong smell so they don’t bother me. I need to focus on healthier eating though.
@sparkymcgeee McDonald's breakfast is my guilty pleasure there is one right down he street from my house. Unfortunately they are currently rebuilding it and I haven't been able to have any

@sparkymcgeee I legit love McDonalds Hot cakes! And the mcgriddle buns. I get it with just cheese, and sometimes bacon. YUM!
I've been craving vinegary and pickled everything! Ordering a big salad...oil/vinegar dressing. Going to the store...jar of pickled veggies. Salt/vinegar chips! Target has these individual sized bags of pickles (sliced and whole) and other pickled veggies like carrots and green beans. I'm obsessed! Can't get enough tart!

Im doing the im so hungry but nothing sounds good thing the last few days. Tonight i finally thought of an old staple- ramen with chopped up cold tomatoes and green onion on top. Omg... I think it was the best thing i've ever had. Only feeling a tiny bit guilty about the msg.
@sparkymcgeee McDonald’s breakfast was one of my biggest first tri cravings with DD! I basically couldn’t live without their hash browns. It was a problem. And nowwww I want one!

Last night I had the biggest messiest mushroom veggie burger and it was the best... until It gave me such bad gas that I didn’t even want to be in the room with myself
The only thing I seem to be craving is blackberries which is weird? And milk. I'm actually struggling to make sure I'm eating enough because I have zero appetite. I'm not nauseous but nothing sounds good. I'm pretty much just going through the motions to make sure I eat enough for the little bean. The only time I felt sick was when I tool my prenatal in the morning without a big enough breakfast. So I've switched it to evening meal and I've been good to go. I'm paranoid I'm not getting enough calories / day.

@kiwieloping That’s exactly the problem I had when I was pregnant with DD. It actually didn’t go away until after I gave birth. I was eating small meals the whole time and have such a hard time deciding what I wanted to eat!

Still on my avocado craze with everything but the bagel sesame seasoning from Trader Joe’s. I also had roasted sweet potatoes and yep, you guessed it! Sprinkled some everything but the bagel seasoning on top.
I also crave cereal when I’m normally not a “cereal” killer. Sorry not sorry for the terrible mom joke!
So basically I want to eat all of the greasy carbs. The thought of vegetables makes me crazy nauseous. And I'm starting down the road of chicken aversion again which is not good because it's a staple of my diet.
Also @sparkymcgeee I ended up having McDonald's breakfast for brunch yesterday and it was everything I wanted and more.

The thought of drinking water is abhorrent to me today. What do you ladies do to stay hydrated!?!

Water with lemon or lemonade. Sparkling flavored water is okay too. But I hate water generally. Like it's the lamest drink on the planet to me. Of course I drink it because it's also the healthiest drink but I don't like doing it.
@rooonilwaazlib - i second the lemonade suggestion. Also try tea or put chopped up fruit in your water (kind of a whole fruit make your own thing) if the taste of regular water is getting to you. Some drink at least water based with some flavoring. My old nutritionist recommended using the Mio water enhancers (which are kind of pricey) to add flavors to your water if you needed a different taste. But I wasn't wild about the taste of them.
Water's not my fave either, but I've just been trying to keep bottles of water ice cold and get them down more quickly so the taste isn't so noticeable. But I definitely have a pitcher of lemonade in the fridge for times that doesn't sound good.
