How far along are you? How big is baby? 11 weeks; Baby is the size of a lime! Somehow that makes me very happy
Any appointments this week? First trimester screen (ultrasound) this Thursday. Looking forward to seeing the baby is ok in there.
How are you feeling?
Feeling good. Still lots of fatigue, but it's become sort of a norm for me to go to bed at 9pm (or 7pm, if it's particularly bad).
Rant/Rave/Questions?
Read "the unexpected when you're expecting". It's hilarious!
GTKY: what is your favorite summer activity? we don't usually have many weekends to do this because it's a 5 hour drive, but my DH'S family has a cabin at a lake. I love going there, having a fire going all day, working on stuff around the cabin, and riding one of the quads (which are getting old now so it's 50/50 if they even start).
How far along are you? How big is baby? 8 weeks - raspberry-sized
Any appointments this week? Last RE appointment Tuesday morning and first OB appointment Tuesday afternoon. I was actually hoping to get an interim peek at baby with a later first OB appointment, but I had to reschedule so it didn’t work out that way.
How are you feeling?
All the tired and incredibloat...
Rant/Rave/Questions?
I admit to having taken several lunch time naps in my car at work this week. Grateful that’s an option for me - and it certainly discouraged me from switching to taking public transportation to work at the moment.
GTKY: What is your favorite summer activity?
I’d have to say all the outdoor concerts around town during the summer. The longer days are so nice.

@ab_canada Thanks for starting this! How far along are you? How big is baby? 11 weeks! Baby is the size of a lime!
Any appointments this week? Nothing until June 8...
How are you feeling?
Ok. Exhaustion seems to be a little better. I haven't been taking naps the last few days, but still usually passed out by 9 pm and sleeping til 6:30 or 7!
Rant/Rave/Questions?
At my OB appointment last Thursday, we booked all of my appointments from now until the end of September! It was a little crazy to go that far in advance, but cool to think about how far along I'll be by then. Also, we know we're having the anatomy US on July 3, so that's when we'll know the sex of the baby!! So looking forward to that appointment!
GTKY: What is your favorite summer activity? Definitely camping! We are going to Lake George in a couple of weeks with our neighbors and I can't wait! I'm a little leery b/c we're tent camping and I'll be 16 weeks by then, so the comfort level could be bad. But still looking forward to going and hiking and having fires and such! @ab_canada The cabin sounds amazing! It's great that you can go and spend some time up there. I would love to have a more permanent thing like that as opposed to tent camping all the time.
@artemis618 Good luck at both of your appointments this week! And congrats on graduating to the OB! It's a bittersweet moment, but it definitely starts to make things feel more real.

How are you feeling? I mostly just feel exhausted and I have a ton of sciatica pain (I’ve never had before) if anyone knows any stretches please help.
Rant/Rave/Questions?
Is anyone else showing a lot. I have been able to feel my uterus for about 1.5-2 weeks so I know it’s true show. I can’t button my jeans anymore. I am a STM so I know it moves quicker but gosh I feel huge. I’m putting my 9 week picture that I took at 9 weeks 5 days.
GTKY: What is your favorite summer activity? I love swimming.
I was just reading about sciatica pain actually. Swimming is great for it (and I see that you like it, so there you go!) And stretches like pigeon pose, child pose, the "figure 4" glute stretch and IT band stretches all seem to be recommended.

I had my first midwife appt this past Tuesday.
How are you feeling?
Nauseous and tired (both a little bit better today). Moody especially at work but I have to hide it well...

@krob I take my fingers and push slightly just above the pubic bone and you can feel your uterus it’s smooth and firm. The top of mine is a good 4 inches above the pubic bone.

Rant/Rave/Questions? We told our families we’re pregnant today for Mother’s Day! Everyone is so excited and it feels a lot more real now to be able to talk about it with my sisters and sister in law.
GTKY: What is your favorite summer activity? We live on a lake, so any water activities are our favorites. My husband is an avid fisherman and I will read in the boat just to go with him. But I love kayaking!
@mphillips2 Stalking from Sunday ticker change, but I'm 11 weeks and can definitely feel mine. I'm a second time mom having twins, so I wasn't to shocked my Ute was already gigantic! Hmm, wonder if you're in the same twins boat!?
Tired and so moody. I hope the moodiness goes away. I was never like this when I was pregnant with DS! :
Rant/Rave/Questions?
How do you guys keep from snapping at your husbands. I've been so moody I've been doing it a lot lately and for pretty much no reason.
GTKY: What is your favorite summer activity?
Does staying inside out of the heat count? Summer here is hot and humid and it's disgusting to be outside unless there's a nice breeze or you're swimming.

@nurse_good FX for a great appointment today!! Definitely keep us updated. And that's awesome that you announced - it can sometimes feel so isolating when you and SO are the only ones who know.
@AdorkablePixie I've been pretty snarky w/ DH lately too! I basically just told not to take anything personally the next few months b/c of the hormones and such. Really the only time he has to worry is when I don't apologize later on, (normally I do), b/c then I really was genuinely upset with him! lol!

@mag1cbeli3ever I definitely text my husband this morning and apologized. lol I told him I don't know what's going on but it's got to be the pregnancy hormones and I hope it stops soon. I also find I'm less patient with my toddler (almost two) and that REALLY bothers me. He's a toddler, he doesn't get most of what's going on and he's acting the way he is because he doesn't know how else to. Saturday he smacked my hand when I was trying to feed him yogurt and it went all over him and the floor. I was so upset. Ugh.

@artemis618 Thank God for lunchtime naps! @AdorkablePixieI am totally with you on the staying inside being your favorite summer activity! My part of Texas is unbearable in the summer, and I just feel gross all day long. @ab_canada my family has a house on a lake about 2 hours away! I don't know why I don't think about going there more often. I definitely need to add that to my list of summer trips. @mphillips2 I'm plus size, so feel like I look pregnant even when I'm not Hopefully I can hide this a bit longer... How far along are you? How big is baby? 8 + 2. There's a little raspberry in there!
When is your first/next ultrasound/appt scheduled? WEDNESDAY!!!!!!! It's my first appointment with a new doctor, so I really hope they do an ultrasound.
Any symptoms? Have they started to subside? Still have the all day nausea, but thankfully have only thrown up once. Really sore boobs. Taking my bra off at the end of the day has become my favorite thing ever. And still super tired. In fact, I took a nap on the office couch during my lunch break today, while my boss was out of the office. Shhhh...
Rant/Rave/Questions? So glad last week is finally over! We were so busy in my office that I didn't have time to Bump AT ALL. I need to catch up.
GTKY: What is your favorite summer activity? Day trips! I plan to keep DD in day care part time over the summer, but Wednesday will be our day trip day. I've already got the first few weeks planned out with trips to zoos, caverns, exotic animal ranches and stuff like that. I can't wait!
@misfithero Imagine my disappointment when I got to the parking garage and realized I’d left my car key at my desk. Fail I’d already made plans to walk with a girlfriend later so it didn’t really make sense to go back and get the key - no nap for me today. But I’ll make up for it tomorrow since I’m taking the day off and can nap between appointments

How far along are you? How big is baby? 8 + 2. There's a little raspberry in there!
When is your first/next ultrasound/appt scheduled? WEDNESDAY!!!!!!! It's my first appointment with a new doctor, so I really hope they do an ultrasound.
GTKY: What is your favorite summer activity? Day trips! I plan to keep DD in day care part time over the summer, but Wednesday will be our day trip day. I've already got the first few weeks planned out with trips to zoos, caverns, exotic animal ranches and stuff like that. I can't wait!
