@chaser61 I know it's an UO, but I do enjoy movies like that. I don't watch it every year for Thanksgiving while wolfing down white russians, but if it's on HBO I will put it on.
With that being said, I hate romantic comedies, reality TV, and HGTV. Did I just lose my woman card??
wine and beer wearing stylish clothes getting fit/no workout restrictions/half marathon training not having to worry or be overly cautious about what I'm eating or products I'm using botox! and of course becoming a family of 4
Haha I don't care for rom coms or reality but I do love HGTV. I also like the big Lebowski but I don't think it's that great. It was my ex' favorite movie so maybe that's why I'm not compelled to watch it when it's on!
Drink. Wear pants with buttons. Sleep on my belly. Not have heartburn. Hold my baby- at least it will give me a reason to be awake in the middle of the night
I know a lot of women still dye their hair when pregnant, but my husband wanted me to wait until the baby is born. So I’m really excited to get my hair done! I’m excited for ibuprofen and cold/flu medicine, because Tylenol just isn’t cutting it. And my severe SPD has me counting down the days until my pelvis doesn’t feel like a wishbone anymore.
What I wouldn't give for an ice cold hard root beer. Maybe even a hard root beer float! Apparently I'm a bad preggo though because I haven't given up subway, runny eggs, or mid-rare steak. I also wake up on my back like 75% of the time. So booze, sushi... And not having another creature living inside my body.
@runsomewhere i forgot about Botox!! I had my last session the month i found out we were expecting so the forehead and eye wrinkles are just now reappearing
@kissableviv so is my DH, but i still do it. It’s also good to start early as preventative care as to not get deep wrinkles. A huge plus as well is a dramatic decrease in headaches!! That right there is my selling point.
Sleeping on my back and stomach Being able to see where I’m shaving Being able to climb up into my giant bed without losing my breath Losing weight and fitting back into my clothes Taking ALL the medicines Turkey Subs Chinese food with ALLLLLLLL the msg All I can eat seafood Drive thru dacquiri bars (yes this is a thing) Watching my son become a big brother
- eat certain foods that aren't on my GD diet (mostly just lots of ice cream and regular Coke, I hate diet pop! Oh and french fries.) - stop hearing stupid comments about how large I am from strangers. My daughter's pedi couldn't get over that I'm only 30 weeks at her sick visit yesterday (and I'm actually not even 30 weeks yet, I lied). Freaking medical professionals are shocked by me. ::eyeroll::
Since this is my last baby I'm trying to remain positive and not wish these last weeks away. Talk to me again around 37 weeks though lol.

@Sarafuss YES I cannot wait for non-GD food, I am already thinking about what pizza to have someone bring me in the hospital lol. Luckily we won't be too far from one of the best pizza places in CT.
@zande2016 since I've had GD in all 5 pregnancies now, it has become a tradition for my mom to bring me a pint of Graeter's ice cream to the hospital when she comes to see the baby lol. And my Dad and stepmom always bring me and DH Dewey's pizza. And I pack a couple 20oz. bottles of coke in my hospital bag lol! They let me have pop in the hospital after delivery but my hospital has Pepsi and I need Coke. I'm a little high maintenance lol!

@Sarafuss I totally feel you on the coke, I can't stand pepsi. Even better if it's coke in the glass bottle we went out to eat last weekend and I ordered a diet coke and my H ordered a regular. The waiter mixed them up (nice mistake to make with a diabetic!) and I took a nice long sip of the regular coke and was in heaven for a moment before I realized we had each other's drinks and had to switch. womp womp
Have a waist again acne products sleep on my stomach burpees and box jumps! (I'm probably alone here lol) my clothes - maternity clothes are terrible. eating what I want without having to overthink everything! not sharing my body finally meeting this little person that has been sharing my body seeing H finally get to be a dad
@WorkinWeezel I gave up running around 25 weeks.....the belly was getting too large and support belts were making me cramp so I've been walking instead.
@foxbaby2016 ugh that stinks. I have been getting more cramping when running as well. I did do spin at the CycleBar this weekend and that was good. Walking is good, too!!!
At this very moment I think I'm most looking forward to no more heartburn. Since I plan to breastfeed there are actually fewer meds I can take than while pregnant (no decongestants), so that part will be sad.
@And846 - I have zero torso so my heartburn is constant. It's bad at the moment from some iced coffee I had this morning, and it gets a lot worse if I eat too much later in the day (too much is like a normal portion). I remember it being so bad when I was in labor that I didn't want to push because extended pushing made me feel like all the acid in my belly was going to come up. @KatyF0813 - I'm currently taking Nexium daily! My doc said I can go up to taking 2 Nexium daily and if that stops helping that then she'll give me a prescription for something else. There have been 1-2 days a week recently when I've needed 2 in a day, so we'll see!
WorkinWeezel I suppose- I've just never worn sunblock lol plus at the beginning of every summer i always do a fake and bake session or two just to jump start the tan- i am super white lol
@babygagnon2018 That makes sense. I'm a big believer in sunblock, but I also have very olive skin so I tan easily. I have perpetual tan lines from my bathing suits over the years. So sunblock just keeps me from burning!
@MichelleAG05 oh man! I’m sorry to hear about the heartburn being constant. Have you found and meals or snacks in which it doesn’t flare up as badly? I’ve found that if i put myself to bed, laying on my left side at a 45° angle, it provides some comfort.
