Symptoms 5/8

Re: Symptoms 5/8

  • I can start using normal toothpaste again it seems! That might be more of a "pregnancy milestone". I still feel nauseous in the AM, but it tends to get better.

I'm slightly amused by all the horny comments. Mainly because DH's friend was telling me the other day about how horny the two women he's had kids with were during their pregnancies. I turned to DH and apologized that I wasn't more horny. We do it maybe once a week, but we also don't always have time. (He truly doesn't care. He joked that he's already getting it more than he did with SS's mom).

@lolo_0924 I'm with you!  My constipation is a new level of bad if I don't live on raisin bran.

@wolfpackgrl718 and @HoosOnFirst Sameies.  I have to check the app to see how far I am and also keep forgetting until I try to bend over or something.

18w 6d and feeling pretty great!!  Constipation is really my only major symptom right now.  Headaches seem to be gone and energy is back.

ETA my boobs.... they are still sore, ugh

@sammierose464 once a week is more than DH and I!! I feel bad because he's definitely the hornier one and I'm just not.. I think he got my hormone over drive lol I'm trying to get more into it for him but we're on completely different schedules so it's hard
  • 15+5... My appetite is slowly coming back, and I only get nausea a couple days a week in the morning. HUGE improvement on both my energy and motivation, so much that I didn't even realize how bad it must have been the past few weeks. My constipation seems to be getting a bit better as well, which is the most amazing. The only new symptoms are headaches which I have only gotten a couple times a week, soreness and back pain. @mamabearcj and @sammierose464 I'm with you guys on sex drive, I keep reading how it's supposed to get really intense and you are supposed to get horny, unfortunately for DH I guess my body is skipping that step???

Yep, @acciocoffee I've done that a few times since being pregnant too. I guess it's the acid reflux? Shocks me every time!
  • @chyvie omg im dying haha. best story ever.

I was so nauseous this morning. spent 15 mins in the work bathroom just dry heaving hoping something would come up. nope! ugh.
  • @sliztee It was definitely the reflux. Sadly I can tell the difference.

@nasalot188 I thought you ladies would get a chuckle out of it! DH didn't understand why I was laughing and obviously didn't care about my growing belly getting in the way! LOL

  • I’m so itchy that I had to take a Benadryl so I don’t scratch my skin off while I’m sleeping. Wtf. I’ve tried every cream, lotion and oil known to man by this point.

  • @mamabearcj :D lol same!
My old SIL on my side (My brother and her are divorced, so not sure what to call that) asked what house I was in, and when I told her Slytherin, she laughed, then was like 'oh seriously?'  :D I thought it was funny!

@coffee-saur that's funny, I totally agree with the house I was put in I see it a lot in myself(: I think it's neat how different we all are and which houses people are in so far
  • Plus one to the Burt’s bees belly butter! I also use neutrogina sesame body oil after my shower for my whole body and belly. Nothing worked before I started this combo. My skins in heaven now.

@linssears4 Oh god, strep throat?! You poor thing. Please get some rest and lots of fluids! - Momma Sliztee
  • DD's kindergarten graduation was yesterday. She did a super job, I could just squeeze her stuffing out! After the program, the class and the moms go to a park for a fun day and field trip. We get happy meals for lunch and the children just play for awhile. I tried drinking lots of water, since it was a hot, sunny day, but by the time I got home, I had a mega headache! My kiddos actually played nice and let me rest, but the headache stayed for the evening. H brought home frozen pizza for supper so at least I didn't have to think about that. Just feeling super drained today and wish I could take a looong nap, but DS's birthday party at school is this afternoon, so I gotta get ready for that too. At least I'm just bringing crackers and cheese, and it's pretty low key.

  • Thanks ladies, I’ll try the belly butter! I’ve been using natural cocoa butter, a calamine oatmeal lotion and lanolin all to temporary effect only.
  • 19+1
I have been having the most consistent pelvic pressure/pain. My doctor keeps saying it's just round ligament pain but I feel like that just part of it and something more is going on. I didn't feel like this until way later with my first pregnancy. I have my anatomy scan next Thursday so I guess I will have to just wait until then to figure out what's up. I have been feeling baby move for quite a while but it has seemed to lessen the past week or so. I have an at home fetal heart rate monitor so I know heartbeat is still good at least.

19+3 and mostly feeling good. Hunger is a big one but so is energy so I’ve still been pretty active.

Feeling baby kick a bit. Yesterday I had a small coffee because I was feeling jet lagged and had to give a presentation and baby started dancing around like crazy. That happens with ice cream too I’ve noticed. I always start laughing when it happens. It’s just amazing.

+1 to wild dreams. Last night was a murderous clown nightmare!

This is a weird symptom I’m wondering if is just me...I assume it’s from hormones. Sorry if it grosses anyone out. Basically my BO smells different and definitely worse than usual. I use natural deodorant which is normally fine but not doing the trick these days. Anyone else experiencing this?

ETA:+1 to horniness! Definitely outpacing DH in libido but thank the universe for vibrators. Also been having to get more creative in positioning due to the changing belly.
  • 15 weeks 6 days.

My lower abdomen used to feel hard to the touch now for some reason today it feels squishy and there is some slight achy pain. Anyone else experience this? I live in a small town and my doctor doesn’t do weekend calls. So I have to wait until Monday, can some ease my worries?
  • @rc-cola I really love Primally Pure's charcoal deodorant. (Google them, they're online only) it works almost as good as my old Secret deodorant, and that's saying a lot. I also have super sensitive pits and it doesn't irritate them.

Re: body odor, pretty sure it's normal to smell different. Damn Hormones.
  • @jemmerjams thanks for the suggestion!
@rc-cola I'm experiencing the same and I remember it happening with DS as well. I'm on the hunt for something new.

@jandmnumber1 For what its worth my stomach has done the same thing. I assumed the achey pain was just my uterus growing and expanding. I feel fine otherwise though. I know that's not much but I hope it helps in the mean time!
  • jynjer4jynjer4 member
@jandmnumber1 I’ve noticed sometimes my stomach is harder than other times. Usually it’s directly related to gas..
  • @nmadjeski thank you! I do just need to hear that I am not alone with this type of thing. I haven’t had many symptoms all pregnancy so far and only got to see the heartbeat once and that was at 11 weeks so I am super anxious and every little thing is starting to worry me.

@jynjer91 I have had a lot of gas lately so this might be the case too. Thank you, I never really thought that it would make my stomach rock hard but I think that’s what is causing this.
  • rc-colarc-cola member
@jemmerjams thank you for that rec! I use Allafia which used to be fine but I think it’s time to up my game, especially with summer coming and having to wear suits to court. I will check  out Primally Pure!
  • @jandmnumber1

Over the last few days, my stomach has been the same (but opposite).   Usually it is a bit squishy, but, especially in the evenings, it would be hard.  I attributed it to my diet being weird while traveling, and so all my system was off.  I wasn’t having any unusual aches and pains, so I didn’t worry about it.

I’m 15 weeks 4 days today. No baby movement yet but I can’t wait for that to happen! I’m feeling less nauseous and able to eat more variety of food but still have my moments and still taking my diclegis. I wish I was as in the mood as everyone else! I feel so bad for my husband but I can literally count on one hand how active we’ve been since finding out we were pregnant :-/ still having very weird and vivid dreams and waking up at 2am almost without fail every single night. Nesting is starting to kick in though. I’m really wanting to start cleaning out the nursery and find myself looking up baby furniture online but still don’t have the energy to do anything about it so waiting for the fatigue to get better. I get out of breath just walking a short distance or eating! But the weirdest symptom is I have started waking up sweating so bad down there! No where else but there and my inner thighs. WTF it’s VERY strange but Hey, I guess that’s pregnancy!
