I seem to remember a nurse saying I could take Benadryl...is that right? Allergies, headache and I want to sleeeeeeep! HALP.
  • Loading the player...
  • @sliztee Yes, Benadryl is considered ok to take during pregnancy. Hope you feel better!

    Thanks so much, @quiltandknit!
  • Sometimes I take Benadryl to help me sleep... I also take Zyrtec daily.
  • Re: gender neutral everything being gray....I do plan to find out (next Saturday the 19th!!) but I actually prefer more gender neutral stuff. I love all the gray and black and white , and our nursery will probably be gray/blue (because blue is awesome). But, I am finding out so I can add a pop of color because all gray is kinda boring. Gotta have some color, and since the rest of the world isn't quite on the gender neutral train, I feel like it's going to be hard to get a good variety of clothes without stepping into "boys" versus "girls". that being said, I have no qualms dressing my kid in "boy" clothes if it's a girl. Just because it's blue, doesn't mean boy!

@sliztee totally fine. I take it every night both for my allergies and to help me sleep.

@mytrueloves I feel the  exact same way! We have hand me downs from friends with infant clothes that were considered for  “boys” or “girls”. Lots of animals, trucks, some Disney stuff, all the colors. We re-hand down anything we don’t want our kid wearing which is usually because it’s ugly or weirdly commercial or promotes some weird gender normative attitudes (“our strong little slugger”  was one...) anyway it’s been kind of fun.
  • @mytrueloves Same. #3 will be wearing all of Z's clothes regardless of sex. I'll eliminate the ones that say little man and stuff to that affect if #3 is a girl, but fire trucks and ninja turtles will be heavy in his/her wardrobe no matter what.

    E will be 18 on July 24th

  • This has probably been covered, but I am thinking about adding a magnesium supplement. What is the best one to take that is pregnancy safe?
