Missed Miscarriage at 12 week scan

I found out I had a missed miscarriage at my 12 week scan on April 20. The baby had stopped growinf around 9 weeks 2 days. I heard a healthy heartbeat at 8 weeks and baby measured perfect so to say I was shocked at my apt. Is an understatement. I had a D and C on April 25 so now just waiting to get AF so that I can try agajn. A little about my back story...we have been TTC for 16 months went to a fertility specialist and everything was normal and we even tried 3 rounds of clomid to  see if that could help. We took a break for 3 months and when I least expected it to happen I got my BFP on Feb 23. I am so nervous that it is not going to happen again for us or it will take a very long time again. Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

    I’m so sorry for your loss.  It can take some time for your body to regulate after MC. It’s not always the case.  Everyone is different.  Sometimes everything returns to normal very quickly.  Take to time to heal both physically and emotionally

    Thank you! Its been hard to find support because I feel like unless you have gone through it you truly don't know what it feels like to have it ripped away from you. Wishing you all luck in your journey and appreciate your support!

    I'm so sorry you find yourself here. I hope your stay is short.
    You are absolutely correct, unless you have been through the suffering of a mc, you really don't fully get it. But, you may be surprised if you start reaching out, I think you'll find plenty of friends that have been through it, and suffered in silence. The more I share my story, the more people I find who have been through it. You are not alone
