Over the last week I've seen a huge improvement in my energy and motivation. Although, it's mostly gone by the time I get home from work.
I'm mostly just uncomfortable. My lower back gets sore, especially when I'm laying down. I feel random pains in my abdomen all the time. I"m not sure if it's baby getting comfy, but that's what it seems like. I'm super congested all the time, which causes mild headaches. Morning still leaves me somewhat nauseous, but it's getting better.
Any new symptoms? Have you said good-bye (hopefully) to any? I am consistently feeling baby move. It's pretty awesome. Still tired, still don't have a terrific appetite....but I have left nausea behind and have been far less crampy as well!
How are you feeling overall? Feeling OK. I am definitely stressed out and cannot wait for my AS. I am hoping that a good normal scan will ease some of stress- baby related and otherwise.
I went 6 days without throwing up, then threw up in a gas station parking lot this morning. I feel pretty good now though, so I won't complain too much. The dizziness is getting worse. I think it is because of my low blood pressure. But I will take the random dizziness over constant nausea and vomiting so still no complaints.
I'm a little more stressed the last two days. Baby was moving a ton and kicking hard enough to feel from the outside, then I had almost no movement yesterday and all last night. It just stressed me out. It's kicking normally now, but I think it is sitting higher than before so I can't feel it quite as well as before. My guess is that it was either resting a lot yesterday or was turned around and kicking places I couldn't feel. Maybe both. I was really excited that I could feel the movements so early this time, but now I'm realizing that it just means all the stressing over if it is moving enough started a lot earlier as well. Ugh. Then the baby will be born and I will still stress out over if it is still breathing in the middle of the night. I still check on DD sometimes at night to see if she is breathing, and she is almost 3. I have issues.
@acciocoffee Same thing here. Last week I was feeling it a lot while sitting at my desk at work. Then all weekend I barely felt anything. Was trying to sit on the couch the same way I am at my desk so it would be similar. But yesterday I felt a lot again. I would randomly feel some weird feelings on the inside, I don't know how to describe it. But wondered if that was just because I was being kicked on the inside instead. FTM, so I have no idea. It's still so subtle it's hard to tell 100%.
17w1d, still don't feel baby. But my OB said any day now, and usually around week 18! DH was so excited, he's really looking forward to feeling kicks! Until Dr burst his bubble and was like "nah uh, not for you buddy. You gotta wait a little while longer". Poor guy. He probably feels a little disconnected since he's been working like 24/7 the past month and we haven't spent a lot of time together.
How far along are you? 15w2d (and super jealous of all of you that are the middle/beginning of October - being the last few days of October and the least far along sucks!)
Any new symptoms? Have you said good-bye (hopefully) to any? Nope - thought my active morning sickness was getting better...wrong! Done nothing but barf and be nauseous all day long the past two days. I think I’m starting to feel baby on and off (3rd baby) which is reassuring but I can’t wait until my next appointment at the end of the month and my anatomy scan which isn’t for another 5 weeks!
How are you feeling overall? Crappy! I am so over being sick. I was sick the whole pregnancy with my DD and hardly at all with DS so I suspect we have another girl coming - we are team green so won’t know for sure until October though! Really hoping the morning sickness ends at some point this time - 35 weeks of constant nausea and vomiting is not fun! But I’m so excited to be pregnant again and we have started getting baby stuff and getting ready - I wish time would speed up!
For the most part I feel good. I randomly threw up on Saturday and last Wednesday. I’ll get a moment of nausea now and again, but I feel mostly normal. I can even wash dishes without gagging.
I also finally have energy to get shit done!
My lady parts still hate me.
I feel movement now and again.
Anxiety comes and goes. I can’t wait for my anatomy scan next week so I know what’s going on. I don’t know if it will give me peace of mind, but the unknown is scary.
Any new symptoms? Have you said good-bye (hopefully) to any? It’s been about the same for the past few weeks - just mild headaches every few days. Baby is moving more and more.
How are you feeling overall? Overall, I’m feeling well and ready for the school year to be over.
New Symptoms? lower back has been hurting but exercise seems to help that! Still feeling really stuffy in my nose! And the other night woke up at 5am with horrible heart burn? Anyone else??
waiting waiting waiting to feel baby move! Although interesting to hear from you all who have felt movements and then feel anxiety when you don’t; so, I guess, either way it’s tough!
Feeling overall? I definitely have more energy and am FINALLY getting my appetite back! Have even been able to eat some food I hadn’t touched since before we got pregnant!
I didn't take my diclegis last night, hoping that maybe I could be done. Nope. I've felt nauseous since lunch. I'm also somewhat constipated (which hasn't been that common for me) and I think it's adding to the pressure and discomfort down there.
Some times I think baby's moving. I have had a few times where I was 99% sure, but others I'm still not sure.
19 weeks tomorrow. I don't have a headache today for the first time in weeks! I also get excited to feel the baby move but then feel anxious when I can't feel her for a whole day. Like the other poster said, the anxiety is always there it just changes over time, I also still check to see if my 2.5 year old son is breathing at night! Still almost two weeks until anatony scan, ugh anticipation and anxiety!
@sammierose464 I have the same symptoms and we are the same date! Lower back pain and random pains in my lower stomach. I think there is a lot of growing happening down there.
I'm also feeling dizzy more often and can't sleep or lay on my back anymore.
Me 33 DH 41 TTC since 2016 Due: October 12, 2018 Location: Ontario, Canada
16 weeks Pretty confident what I’m feeling actually baby movement now. Energy has gone up a bit, but still pretty tired. But other than that, nothing too exciting. Which is nice.
I forgot to add insomnia to my symptoms list! Pretty much every night I’m up for at least a few hours in the middle of the night - while I appreciate it gives me a chance to catch up on TB I’d really rather get a full night sleep.
I had it with both my other two as well but I feel like it started way later with them. Anyone else not sleeping?
@elothair +1 for insomnia. It's so hard to fall asleep. My brain won't shut off. I was also having trouble staying asleep and going back to sleep after my pee breaks. OB is keeping me on Diclegis pretty much just so I can sleep.
ETA: also, DO NOT WORK OUT IN THE EVENING. (note to myself as well). I did a 7:15-8:15 pm weightlifting class, took my diclegis halfway through (hey, it's extended release and takes FOREVER to kick in), and still was wide awake at 10:30, (was in bed by 8:45). I used to be able to fall asleep a little quicker after evening workouts, but not since becoming pregnant.
16w4d (is it bad that I have to look at my app to confirm this every time? with my first I could tell you every day without hesitation!)
I think I've been feeling some baby movement! Little flutters every now and then. At first I thought it was gas but it's been every day for the past week! I have an anterior placenta though, so I fully expect to stop feeling things for awhile. Maybe not though
Headaches have been my newest symptom. Still have a crappy appetite most days too. But I'll take it over being sick! The crazy dreams keep coming too!
@elothair I'm with you on being at the end of the month! It stinks that everyone is chatting about kicking and has cute bumps and I'm over here just feeling gassy and still just look like a gained a few lmao!
I traded my nausea for massive headaches, they hit every day at about 4pm. I started going to a chiro and I'm hoping that helps a bit. I'm drinking a gallon of water a day so I know i'm not dehydrated! Every day is a new adventure though. Hoping to feel baby soon! 15w3d
These headaches are really starting out to get annoying! Everyday! Another couple new symptoms started this week, I guess since I had such a good first trimester I’m going to get all the crappy symptoms now. Insomnia and lower random cramping started this past week, I am definitely not a fan. Hoping that this is only temporary and will go away soon. On the plus side my food aversions seem to be much better.
I feel pretty good aside from being really congested. My energy is coming back and I'm definitely more motivated to get things done. Although, I have a lot I want to accomplish over the next couple months (before it's too hot and I'm huge haha). I'm feeling a little overwhelmed but it'll all get done.
I definitely felt some movement lately. Two times in particular that made me stop what I was doing because the movement was so swift. I wasn't expecting to feel it so strong at first. Nothing consistent though.
I'm also horny all time and SO just hasn't been in the mood lately. Im trying to be understanding but these damn hormones. It's turning me into a crazy person.
I'm a little more stressed the last two days. Baby was moving a ton and kicking hard enough to feel from the outside, then I had almost no movement yesterday and all last night. I feel like I could have written this....also "Accio Coffee"....we could be soul mates. #ravenclaw
@elothair@jemmerjams YES to insomnia!! Sometimes I can’t get comfortable and toss and turn for like two hours!! Other times, yes I get up to pee and then can’t get back to sleep! It’s driving me crazy!!!
@knottieamusements I’m jut having weirdly specific dreams, like I had one where I went to see my OB and my blood pressure was 154/92. Just weirdly precise. And another where I was making iced-tea for myself and a friend in my kitchen.
Laying in bed bumping because I am so tired and also have a hard time falling asleep some rights. And also enjoying it while I can. 18w3d FTM No movements. Shakes fist at being fat
How far along are you? 16 weeks today. I agree with you @elothair...it sucks being at the end of October!
Any new symptoms? Have you said good-bye (hopefully) to any? The nausea is mostly gone now. It does show up randomly in the morning if I don’t sleep well, but doesn’t usually last too long. The headaches have started so I’m trying to drink more water, but that isn’t really helping. Tylenol will help sometimes but the only thing that really helps is sleep. Went to the doctor yesterday for my 16 week apt and she said to try half a cup of coffee, and that they usually don’t last more than a couple of weeks so I’m hoping they will end soon!
How are you feeling overall? I’m feeling ok, but I think I’ve decided I’m not someone who loves being pregnant. Don’t get me wrong, I’m very thankful that I’m able to be pregnant and for the little life growing inside of me, but I don’t think I’m one of those “I love being pregnant” people. It’s just uncomfortable, awkward, and anxiety inducing!
18+....2? I think. God I can't keep track this time.
The pressure in my groin is getting intense. It was never this bad with Z. I definitely need that maternity belt this time. Also I'm horny as hell. My H usually doesn't have much of a sex drive compared to me, but thank god he's doing his best to keep up. Some days it's so bad that I'm physically uncomfortable until I can jump him. I'm also guilty of taking extra long showers these days to take care of the issue myself.
Pretty sure nausea is gone... it’s been awhile since I’ve felt sick, just a few waves every now and then so I’ll take it.
Constipation is my newest symptom so I’m back to eating high fiber granola in the morning which is not as enjoyable as the cherry pop tarts I’ve been craving lately.
Overall I can’t complain, still in the awkward did she stop working out and eat too much or is she pregnant stage but I’ll hold onto that over being miserably uncomfortable.
Re: Symptoms 5/8
Just lower and mid back pain.. for the most part
But headaches are gone for now!!

Anterior placenta, and no baby kicks yet.
I’m dealing with a little bit of heart burn, which I blame on strange food from traveling. If I still have it in a week, I’ll blame it on dinosaur.
Weird dreams. All the weird dreams.
