First appointment on Tuesday afternoon. My OB is bringing me in early so we can talk about all of my concerns. Not sure if she’ll do an ultrasound (I think she’ll want to) but I should only be 5.5 weeks which is an awkward time for first u/s. She’ll also probably want to check betas and progesterone and I’m dreading that.

No set appt this week yet, But I can FINALLY call Monday to get the second beta results from Friday. Not sure if they will want me to come in for a 3rd Beta this week or not. But I’m keeping that in mind as a possibility. Ultrasound scheduled for next Friday when I should be 6.5 weeks.

@tosh24 It sure is. The only thing that is making me not panic too much is that **TW I didn't have spotting with my losses until I was about to get full flow/hCG was already falling. So if nothing else, this is different than other pregnancies. I also don't have any cramps (well, my ovaries have "talked" to me a few times but that happens whenever I use progesterone suppositories, pregnant or not) end TW** I also can't really be reassured by HPTs anymore because as of 18dpo (hCG was very high for that early, 3,383) the test line on my FRER was way darker than the control, and my Wondfos the lines were equally dark. My Wondfos the test line was a little darker than the control on Thursday, but they kind of have just stayed that way. From googling some people have reported they stay that way, the control doesn't get super light. No idea if that's true. So. I don't think my hCG is falling precipitously but I also have no idea if it's going up enough/at all. I will be glued to my phone tomorrow afternoon waiting for news.
Had my first appointment on 4/30. They did bloodwork, like took 9 vials of blood. They also went through choosing my dr and scheduled my first ultrasound. I’ll get to see bean at around 10am on the 16th!!
I have my third beta and my first sono on Friday 5/11 - I'll be 5+5 or 5+6, and am so nervous-excited! I am hoping for a heartbeat but know it might not be there yet. I am hoping harder for at least something to confirm little McBaby is actually in there and thriving! FX for all of you and some happy, baby-filled results!
My wife and I have conceived a babe with my body and frozen donor sperm through IUI, with medication support (clomid, ovidrel, and injections of progesterone) IUI #1, #2, and #3: Dec 2017, Jan 2018, and Feb 2018 - all BFN HSG Test: April 2018 - all clear! Figured out how to get a beta done in the UK (in London on vacation). BUT it’s a bank holiday today so I might not get same day results. Unlike the RE’s nurse though the doctor here was completely unconcerned about my levels which helps.
I'm having SO MUCH anxiety leading up to tomorrow's appointment. I just don't feel like my symptoms are THAT strong but I also recognize I'm only 5+3. This is the first pregnancy where I am at this stage and have NO IDEA what's happening though (I've had no betas and haven't POAS in almost a week).
*TW* I think a lot of my anxiety comes from the fact that with my first loss baby stopped growing at 5.5 weeks and prior to that I had lost the only symptom I had. *End TW*.
I just want to know what's happening but at the same time know that at 5.5 weeks I won't really learn much!

I'm in the same boat @BitterBetty12 ! For some reason it won't let me finish my post above. Here's the continuation: my doctor is going to call me this afternoon to discuss where we go from here! I'm so (cautiously) EXCITED!!!!
Nurse called and said second beta numbers were good and no need for a third draw. Come back next friday at 6.5 weeks for an ultrasound! Now I just need to get through the news week and a half of anxiety!
@beachmama14 it’s torture! My last beta was Wednesday and I won’t have any more appointments until my sono this Friday. Going crazy!

Didn't hear from my doc today, which so unlike his office. Just called the office. I was shaking. Turns out the lab didnt run the HCG; just the progesterone. They still have my blood from last week so they are going to test it but then I have to go back in tomorrow for a third draw.
My fourth beta is in and I was driving so I didn't get the exact number, but it's a bit over 26,000 today (5w4d). I was so sure it wouldn't go up enough, very relieved.
Got to cancel this week's beta! Last Wednesday I was at 295, and Friday (exactly 48 hours later), I was just over 1000, so they just called to let me know now that I'm over 1000 I don't have to come in for more testing. I was worried for a minute about the big jump, but the internet tells me this sometimes happens in the first pregnancy after a loss, like the body working extra hard to make this one stick? I'll go with that until my next appointment - May 25th for the u/s SO FAR AWAY.
Congrats to everyone else waiting threw the weekend and ending up with good results (and @CoastieGirl79 I would be so pissed!!). GL to everyone else with your betas and early u/s this week!!
Alright ladies. My betas came back, at 0500 today, from Friday's test. They ran it with the blood they had from last week. I went from 91 HCG to 293. Friday's test was at 3 weeks, 1 day. It more than doubled. Hopefully today's results go higher. I'm being cautiously optimistic.
My 3rd beta yesterday came back at 3254 (was 585 last Thursday) - so relieved! I have one more beta next Monday (not scheduled by my doctor - they're letting me do extra to help calm my PGAL brain) and then first u/s next Friday (18th).

No more betas for me! The doctor called today scheduling my ultra sound for next Wednesday! They are sending me to the radiology department at the hospital for a more detailed ultra sound. I must say, I'm extremely disappointed because we will not get to actually see baby, possibly hear a heart beat, NOTHING. They will keep everything private, screen turned away from us and we will leave the ultrasound knowing nothing due to hospital policy. I've never experienced something like this and I'm very upset about it. I still have my daughter's 7 week ultrasound hanging on my fridge. Its a cherished memory and i feel I'm being robbed. They will later call us with the results but seeing is believing and I want to see my baby.
@zamora_spin I told my OB my feelings and she is looking into another facility for me to go that does not have this strange policy. I understand not being able to tell me things but to not see either?!
We had our second beta today, and our numbers more than doubled in the past two days. So far so good! I am done with betas and go in on the 18th for our first ultrasound! So happy to hear everyone's good news so far.
