@antsangel1118 for real this is a fucking nightmare. I can’t see anything or tag anyone or get any notifications on my phone, and I only use my phone. Wake me up when we’re on Facebook. (Ps I was against the fb move on my last bmb because I didn’t have one at the time, but i ended up making one just for them and it was totally worth it.)

I wholeheartedly agree with what @maureenmce said in regards to gender neutral clothing.
@echo-charlietango thanks for the Primary recommendation. Just plain solid colors - I love it.
I hate the onesies with overly gendered or sexualized text on them too, but I wouldn’t mind having a few graphic text or character things as long as they are relatively gender neutral.
Since we're on the topic of Primary...if anyone wants a free set of PJ's with a purchase of $50 or more shoot me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll send you an offer. I promise I won't be super creepy and stalk you. Probably.

@PensiveCrayon Oooooh, you’re going to want to burn my favorite pants! They’re mocked-waist harem pants, so soft and bloat friendly TBH I do wear them as PJs more than public pants because they’re wedgie prone.

On the topic of maternity photos... I do think the ones where you are in the forest in a nightgown kind of thing looking wistfully into the distance are dumb. But I honestly appreciate women who take normal shots of their bellies with the number of weeks they are and show the progression from week to week. I've been looking at various progressions to get a sense for how big I might be at various points. I know every pregnancy is different, but it's still useful to have some idea. I started my own last week at 9 weeks. My stomach is still basically flat, perhaps a bit bloated, but I figure it's good to have a baseline shot. I'm not planning on sharing mine on social media or anything but I am curious to see how my bump will grow.
@kadeephd Agreed! Personal progression photos are wonderful, I think I’m going to start mine when I hit 9 weeks. Afraid that I’ll jinx this one (stupid PGAL brain).
Re: Matilda Jane That amount of useless frou-frou kind of pisses me off. Not sure why it evokes such an emotional response though. My unncessesary reaction to Matilda Jane is up there with names that include a “high comma.” I can’t help but feel pity for those children. So much frou-frou.

And also here's a UO that I just thought of: smocking is ugly. There, I said it.
YES AND AMEN. As a northern new England we, I just don’t get it. Ugly as heck.
I guess I’m full of UOs. First, I am a big believer in WOO. I only use natural things on my family. We don’t eat from boxes, I know where all of our toiletries come from. We source our food locally. I use natural remedies like garlic, EOs (with proper education and limited use), tinctures, herbs, etc. We use salt lamps and I have a salt inhaler. Love amber. I also believe in a God who heals. I’m a literal modern day hippie and am not ashamed of it, I also love to educate about it!
Oh AND get your maternity pictures and newborn pictures, some of us artists are starving here! I’m kidding, I don’t love the split open maternity gowns and cringe when my clients want them. There are some pretty ones, but some that are awful. I think newborn portraits are important, these are the heirlooms your going to pass down to your children. However, I don’t do many “posed” newborn shoots now. I HATE the froggy pose and much prefer lifestyle newborn sessions. I actually like fresh 48’s and birth a lot better.

@Gwyneddlesliegrace birth photography yesssss. I may splurge this time and do that, I wanted to so badly with my last but we just couldn’t afford it. I think I can justify if this will be my last baby though.

Births are my crack. Ha. Many do payment plans, which is nice to pay it off a little at a time. This time I’ll have my assistant or one of my second shooters come. I’ll probably do some myself too, since I’m a crazy person.
And to be a complete AW, Ive had birth shots published on THe Bump and cafemom. It was pretty neat to be picked up by TB, since I’ve been a member since 2008!

I have no problem with woo as long as people vaccinate and seek proper medical attention for their kids when there’s a more serious illness.
