My boss just found out she's gonna be a grandma again! This will be her 3rd grandbaby, but the first from her youngest. They're due sometime in December.

Today is my birthday. H asked me what it felt like to be 34, I said I feel old. He just scoffed and said it was because I was pregnant. Then I told him I popped today and he said he was proud of me. Obviously, we are not the most mature couple out there, Lol.

@wildrainbow happy birthday! Couples that talk about poop are the most comfortable around each other. I literally just had a poop conversation with DH, so I guess we aren't very mature either lol!

OMG @pink_polkadots I was SCREAMING!!! In the theater, screaming! DH was like Calm down, and the person behind us was like, no, she's just saying what we are all thinking!

@wildrainbow @phoenix870509 I regularly text/update MH "Hooray I pooped!" It's the little things that count. And pregnancy constipation is super uncomfortable. It's worth mini-celebrating especially with the poop/strain associated spotting I was having early on. Also we have the sense of humor of children in my house.

Hubs and I started watching season two of The Handmaids Tale this weekend. It’s soooo good. I feel like every episode my heart is pounding. I get so nervous for the main character and the other handmaids. Probably not the best thing to watch while pregnant since it gives me so much anxiety.

Happy birthday @wildrainbow!

I am so scared to see the new Avengers after reading all of this here. I don't think I can handle the emotions.

And, it is finally time for me to let my boss know I'm pregnant. I'm 13 weeks tomorrow. They've always handled it well, but I always get nervous telling them. My company doesn't have any maternity leave and has always kind of left it up to me to get it figured out. I typically do a combination of vacation days, sick days, short-term disability and unpaid days to take 3 months off. And I work from home the entire time. I hope they don't feel the need to change that this time.

Re: separate thread vs spoiler box -- Whatever you guys would like to do is cool. If you all think it warrants enough of a conversation/discussion to go into a thread of it's own, go for it. I was just explaining how to post in a spoiler box which is not difficult and is a good bump "skill" to have. And honestly using one should applied to discussion of any new episode/movie/spoiler information to be courteous of other posters.

Even before pregnancy, the hubs and I have talked openly about our pooping habits. We picked up the BEST little tidbit a few years ago when we were in Vegas. A guy walked out of the bathroom, walked up to his lady and said, "No lightning, all thunder." We've been using that ever since to refer to our visits to the bathroom, "It's feeling a little stormy." "Oh man, lightning really struck in there."

Yep, we also have the sense of humor of children - but we're okay with that

My bestie and I went to the zoo today with our kids. It was only 75, but we were both so hot. I need more 50-60 degree weather! It's going to be in the 80s for the foreseeable future.... yuck.

I told my Boss and Team on Friday that i'm expecting...they were all pretty excited for me...still have to tell one other person that I work with but it just hasn't been easy to work into conversation. Which is funny because before i kept trying NOT to mention it. I just want to tell him myself before he hears it from someone else. Maybe tomorrow will be the day.

My kids super sucked today. I don't know what it was in the water in 2009, but this has been the most challenging group of kids I have ever had. I routinely come home so wiped out I can barely function. The worst part is I always go in with a good attitude and leave in a funk.

@bfpafter4years I was told you have one really challenging class on average every 7 years. I have only been teaching 6 without one yet. Next year I am due for it.

Since I teach resource/sped maybe it will pass me up.

Only 2 weeks of school left for me! Yippee! We get a crazy long summer also because of tons of construction in the district. We don't start back until September and usually do mid August. (Next summer will be super short though.)

My last day of work was Friday and now I'm soaking up the SAHM life!! Got DS a haircut finally yesterday and he's just a handsome little fella. Trying to figure out a good routine through the week to keep us both busy. Probably doing the park later today, water park tomorrow, and a library visit Thursday or Friday.

Other than that...mobile bump kinda sucks. You don't get notifications of tags, so I can't tell if I've caught up with everything or not. Gotta figure mobile out better; so used to the computer.

this morning I took DD to Walmart and then a quick trip to the mall to grab some comfy pants from Old Navy since all mine are ripped and have holes. Please tell me why the lady working the fitting room felt it appropriate to tell me that my daughter was too big for a stroller??! Please tell me how it was any of her business?! My DD is 4, so yes, she is perfectly capable of walking. And typically she does. But when I am on my own with her, and I want to actually SHOP... I put her in her stroller with a snack or her iPad. It just makes the shopping experience a million times less stressful so I can somewhat enjoy myself. But this nosy biotch asked where the baby was and when I pointed to DD, she gawked and said “oh she is way too big for a stroller!” I’m not quick to think of clever comebacks... but I did tell her that unless she wanted her store torn apart, the stroller was the best choice for everyone.

@pink_polkadots That makes me so angry for you! I hate when people make any of those types of comments..."Your kid is to _______ for ________....." It's like their opinions matters to me how exactly? I mean, do I know you? Respect you? Or do you have high level degree in the area that you are so comfortable in judging me on? These people...I swear....Mama Bear gonna come out full force.

I for one don't blame you one bit. I keep my kids in carts, strollers, high chairs, or anything to confine them when in public as long as possible. I don't think people know how hard it is to shop for ANYTHING when you're dragging along a kid

@pink_polkadots UGH! What a nosy pita. Not cool man. Clearly she could see you were by yourself, if YD is happy and you're willing to push the stroller how is it ANY of their business. I have a friend that will still wear her 4yo on her back when she's out grocery shopping cause it's easier than dealing with her running around the store. Sorry you had to deal with that.

@pink_polkadots people need to seriously stfu and mind their own business! I honestly wonder if people use their brains anymore. Let's see, you go shopping with your DD, you're the only adult, to buy things for yourself that you may need to try on...how are you gonna contain said child while you are trying on said clothes? Hmmmm, let's ponder over this for a moment. This person is clearly not a mother, or at least a mother who ever went shopping for herself with her children.

@pink_polkadots people are so rude. My 4 year old rides in the stroller a lot. I was giving her a piggy back a few weeks ago at the park and another mom commented that “ she’s too big for you to hold her!” I gave her A Look and it shut her right up.
