Hahahaha I was sending my sister pictures of hot air balloons (painting inspiration) and apparently one link turned out to be a porn virus!!! She had to look at an internet weiner. Woops!!!
Uhm, so my belly button went completely inside out already, like...a week and a half ago? Just sharing. @Patience7150
I was just looking back at pictures from last pregnancy. I'm visually an entire 5 weeks larger this time. Like my 21 week belly now looks like my 26 week belly from last time. And I carried big last time. I'm not upset. I'm kinda proud, like hey, I GROW these babies, lol. But I'm definitely getting people thinking I'm due in like a month.

@pourmeamocktail! Wow about the belly button! I’m proud too to be growing a baby! It’s so freaking cool!
So, the doctor said to me yesterday - “you are not that pregnant yet” referring to the size of my bump (after I pulled a total ftm and asked if I could accidentally squish the baby by sleeping in the wrong position). But, isn’t that a very weird way for a doctor to say it? Like you are pregnant or you are not pregnant. She could have said “you are not that far along yet”. Or, “you are not that big yet”. Right?
The doctor is great and I wasn’t upset by this at all because I totally know what she meant in the context of the conversation. But it seemed like a really odd way to say that!
@pourmeamocktail I am not far behind on the belly button! I also carry big and when I compared last week, I was still a good 3-4 weeks ahead of where I am now. DD was just shy of 9lbs though, and since we have a risk of low birth weight this time, I am more than happy for a big belly that hopefully translates to a big baby!
My FFFC, I'm jealous of how at peace you are with your bump size @pourmeamocktail and @Patience7150. I'm feeling so big and so uncomfortable looking further along than I am. I haven't even gained an excess amount of weight (6-10 pounds maybe?) But I'm just so far out there in comparison to my first pregnancy. My H isn't one to give compliments often so I'm kind of struggling with my body again this time.
@nlc8424 I'm sorry you're feeling that way. I am still uncomfortable, and fear where I'll be in 15 weeks, but I try to remind myself that so long as I'm eating as healthy as I can (which some days is not very healthy) and trying to get some exercise, my body is doing something amazing and I have very little control over what's happening. It's a season of life, and it too will pass. Would something like...new clothes, haircut, or makeup help distract you from the bump size? A little treat yo self!?
@Patience7150 thank you for the suggestions! I've been buying clothes as needed and regularly keep up my hair as part of self care, so I try to be good to myself that way. It definitely is a season of life that will pass, I'm just taking my sweet time coming to terms with my ever changing shape apparently lol. I do trust that so long as I eat fairly healthy and exercise as I feel comfortable all will be fine. Currently just feeling shocked at how far my belly sticks out compared to 20 weeks last time! I'll catch up soon I hope, but I definitely need the reminder to be kinder to myself.
@nackie I'm not even that big and I got that comment one day from someone, too. I think it was because I was wearing a fitted dress and hadn't pooped in a couple days. I've also received a couple comments along the lines of "one could be hiding and it could be twins!" Um... no. We've checked, like several times. Thanks though?

@nackie and @nlc8424 Yeah, my grandma asked if it was twins too. I've gained 20 lbs, maybe a bit more already. I am super uncomfortable for sure, growing out of maternity pants and waddling, strong SPD pain. My son was 6 lbs 11 oz at 35 weeks last time, so expecting either a normal sized baby that's preemie age, or a large full term baby this time. I'm not quite as confident as I seem, but embracing is my only option, and at least I know I look pregnant, which helps me feel better.

@nackie I’m sorry! I’m with @businesswife people need a reminder not to comment on a maybe pregnant persons body.
Hugs to everyone! The changes our bodies go through during pregnancy are amazing, but also very hard. We gain weight and change shape at a very rapid rate and that is hard to process. Hoping for peace for everyone as our bodies continue this change. We are kicking butt growing tiny humans!
hey guys! I stink at coming on here. I relate my 4th baby TB slacking to how others slack on the baby book for their 4th baby. I'm going to try harder to be around. In my defense, I worked over 80 hours/wk for the last 4 weeks. Then this week was closer to 65 but we randomly almost bought a house. We weren't planning to move but the perfect house came on the market across from the girls' school so we went for it. Got pre-approved and put in an offer the next day. The sellers countered and we accepted but then apparently another offer came in over asking so we missed it. meanwhile I spent 24 hours thinking our offer was accepted and I had 7 days to get our house on the market. It was a whirlwind! I'm happy to be sticking in our 3 bedroom 1 bathroom twin for now. Yes it's small for 6 people but it's just fine!
Anyway, also random: I think I'm going to get back into cloth diapering. I have a 19 month old and if I can do it with him again now then I'll let myself by newborn diapers in preparation for new baby boy. I CDed for a bit when #2 was a toddler so I have the diapers. I just need to test my water (because my Sept 16 mom friends told me this is important), strip my diapers (whatever that means!) and go for it. Any CD advice or insight is appreciated!

Oh and people suck with the pregnancy comments. Someone told me my bump was lopsided when I was 20 weeks. *eye roll* And DS (#3) was 10 pounds 13oz. I'm a petite woman so I got allllllllll the comments at the end.

Thanks for all the support ladies! I get where the comments are coming from- I’m very petite and I apparently grow big babies (DS was 9 lbs and a week early). In addition, every ounce I’ve gained so far has gone straight to my bump. But even so, it doesn’t make the comments easier to take.
@crispy11 We sgould go ahead and get a CD thread (or two) going... definitely a lot to talk about there! Sounds like a whirlwind youve had going, indeed!
@klj0228 Ah, yes! I did! And it was, in a word... GLORIOUS! :D
The lady was a little chatty, very friendly and that, but I was a little afraid we'd be stuck talking through the while thing, which we weren't, so that was good. Started on my back, propped up with pillows and warm blankets. She also did some good hip openers, and we discovered that my left hip was way tight, so that was good to be aware of and start thinking more along the lines of doing my squats and hip stretches for labor. Then we were on one side with all the pillows, and then the other, and just utterly slathered in wonderful-smelling lavender oil. So luxurious!
I also learned both from that, despite being propped with all the pillows, and plus the anatomy scan Monday, that laying basically flat on my back in a bed during labor is not going to work for me for very long. My tailbone was still tweaked, even after the massage, and it took a while of walking it off before it went back to normal. So it does also make me feel more empowered about trying all the labor positions when the time comes, and maybe finally reaching out to a doula... sooner rather than later.

I need to make a decision about a doula ASAP and find one if that’s the way we are going.
