My ribs been hurting and I’m not sure if because my uterus it’s expanding or because the baby it’s moving but how? Can the baby be so high If I am 17 weeks..

1. Call your doctor if this has been ongoing, for sure. 2. I did have rib pain. Mine lasted about 2 days and made it hurt to even take a deep breath. Doc definitely took note of it and said it may have been baby moving up a bit, since it went away. 3. Still, ask your doc. I wouldn't mess around with ribs.
Ask your dr. I have near-constant rib pain from scar tissue so I can’t very well advise. Hard to tell what pain is my normal and what is caused by pregnancy. You’re right, the baby is not up in your ribs, but as your uterus expands everything shifts upwards so it is conceivable that pregnancy is what’s causing your pain. Also, depending on the location of the pain, it could be acid reflux presenting abnormally. That happens to me regularly by the bottom of the left side of my rib cage (over the stomach). Regardless, doesn’t sound like an issue to be diagnosed by internet strangers. Definitely ask your dr.

I have on and off rib pain, but I’m fairly certain mine is muscle related. I have always had muscle spasms in my chest. It could be that or it could be more serious. If you’re really worried call your doc or at least bring it up at your next appointment.
For me I had to start wearing bralettes. It was my bras with their evil wires that were making my ribs hurt. But yea, everything's expanding so it's pretty normal for stuff to hurt unfortunately.
Re: Is it normal for ribs too hurt constantly?
