I used to have a different name but then realized, through my first round of this same GTKY, that it was easily searchable, as it's my name for Instagram and Twitter, etc. So I found a random picture of me as a kid looking pensive in a crayon costume...thus PensiveCrayon was born. I sort of want to change it to something better but can never think of anything good.

I lurked at first and had a knot account with my real name. So when I was trying to come up with a non identifying name all the ones I could think of were used. Ds1 was getting in to everything while I was trying to do this, and I was thinking, he’s such an active baby. I typed that in and it was available. So that’s my identity now.

I always get these “ecological calendars”, that split the year into seasons, and it gives a “name” for each day- making a long poem if you read the whole season.

Tumbleweed was the “name” of one of the days relating to my first pregnancy. Either the day I thought I might have conceived, or the day I found out. I don’t remember exactly. I don’t know why the “-1” part is on my username. I wasn’t active on tb for a while, and that part was there when I came back.

I’ve considered changing it, but as luck would have it, this is the first year I don’t actually have my fun calendar. Maybe I can look this years up online & find a good username?

Initials (sort of, I think... hyphenation is much more complicated than I realized when I was doing it, so I could also just be AMG). Plus the year I joined The Bump.

@PensiveCrayon I had wondered before if that was you in the picture...so cute!

clbness is what my Dad and Uncle used to call me when I was a kid and it just stuck. CLB is my initials and they just added the ness on the end. Sometimes they even called me the ness. I don't know...we're a family of weirdos!

But to take a day off of work to go spend a few hours at the social security office and then go spend an entire day at the DMV doesn't sound so good to me. Haha, I'll change my name when I get some time. But now that I'm pregnant again, I'm sure I'll never get time now.

@asun123 I will probably end up just using his last name on a regular basis for paperwork and signing stuff, but the old ones will still be in there

My middle name is a family name and I really like my last name, so I wanted to keep them both in there somehow without having to hyphenate.

We named DS Otto and there was an old kids show called rocket power and the main character's name was Otto rocket. I called him that mostly as a joke but it stuck as a nickname for him. So now I'm rocketmom. 88 is my birth year.

Mine is mine and my husbands initials plus the number 23.

@hkom I just got rid of my middle name. So legally now I have my first name then my maiden name then my husbands last name. I just sign my married last name to things. For awhile at work I used my maiden name so that I was not traceable but honestly I found it too hard to adjust using the different names different places so I made the total switch.

When I made it, I didn’t understand stranger danger and I don’t really care anymore lol

its my first name and part of my maiden. I used to not have the underscore, and was told in my last BMB that they thought it read Jens hoes, not Jen shoes, so I added the underscore.

Mine is pretty self explanatory as well. I married the most muggleyist muggle ever. I love the Harry Potter series so much I am genuinely sad I am not a witch. My husband has no interest in the books and half way through the first movie, he fell asleep. It’s ok because my toddler son and I play wizards in the backyard with wands and he pretended to turn my husband into a squirrel. It was simply amazing.
