Testing: Tomorrow. I was going to wait until my bday (Monday) but we're going to Epcot tomorrow for a day of drinking.
R/R: A HUGE temp spike this morning. In other news we are going to a BBQ/ bluegrass festival today. I'm so excited. It is a sanctioned stop in the competition market. So it is some good BBQ.
CS/Q: nope
GTKY: What's the dumbest way you've been injured? In 8th grade, my bff and I were attending the cheerleading workshop to get ready for tryouts in a couple weeks. They were playing the gtky game "jump in , jump out, introduce yourself" I told my friend that I didn't want to go in. She decided to push me in, I resisted, fell backwards and slid about a foot on the gym floor. My wrist/ thumb hurt afterwards. Turns out I had a hairline fracture in my thumb. So I was in a cast for 6 weeks , including cheerleading tryouts. It worked out because we both made the team anyway.
R/R: We're going to see our favorite comedian tonight! I'm super excited. And the show's at the casino so maybe we'll win a ton of money too.
CS/Q: I'm very confused as to when I actually O'd. I'm leaning toward yesterday since I had a big temp jump today, but FF's Research detector puts it at CD24. At least my timing is okay either way?
GTKY: What's the dumbest way you've been injured? I threw out my back one time leaning over to put something in the recycle bin. It hurt for days.
R/R: It's a super dark cloudy day. We had a couple of events we wanted to go to today, and even though they are still happening even with rain, I don't think we want to get out of the house and deal with the rain. So It's probably just movies and board games today. Which I am okay with.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What's the dumbest way you've been injured? I can't think of anything right now. Mainly just stupid clumsy things when I am not paying attention to where I am.
R/R: Rant ugh... just spent way to much time looking at charts like mine. I know it's early and I have a gap in temps it's not stopping me from obsessing. Rave- H and I had really good timing. I'm really really hoping this cycle works. :whispers to ute: please work
CS/Q:
GTKY: What's the dumbest way you've been injured? I was carrying a container of stripless wax up the stairs and the wax melted through the bottom of the container on to my hand. *Tw this might be graphic I dropped the wax on the carpet and ran to the bathroom put my hand under the faucet to stop the burning and the water peeled off a huge thick layer of skin *END TW H had to drive me to the ER. Funny not funny note - he was so panicked he dropped me off and didn't wait until I got into the ER to park and when I got to the door.... it was locked. I had to walk around the outside of hospital until I found an open door. It turns out i had second degree burns on both hands, and they did an over all check on me since i was wearing yoga pants but had been wearing pj shorts at the time and found I had burns on my legs and feet as well but because the pain was so bad on my left hand I hadn't even realized. Also I had to wait a couple hours to get any pain medicine and over an hour to get an ice bath. It was awful but I totally understand ER priorities. it's seriously the stupidest worst injury I've ever had. For sure. Just a note... everything healed, I did exactly what the Drs told me and only have 1 tiny scar on the top of my knuckle.
@galactickates That burn sounds awful! Glad you healed so well. I was in a car accident that totalled both vehicles. All my air bags went off and my glasses flew off my face. When I came to ( I blacked out for a second) and realized what had happened, I was expecting my nose to be broken and or my face all bloody. Nope, I had a cut (like a paper cut size) on my knuckle. The police came and asked if I needed medical attention and I showed him my finger. He chuckled and asked if I wanted a band-aid aid.
Testing: Waiting as long as I possibly can. My tests just arrived from Amazon. I don’t want to waste them.
R/R: I’m not exactly sure what to put here. But it’s a beautiful day. I am a bit nervous how things will go because I’m over 35 and this was a very stressful month at work following a very stressful start to 2018. Fingers crossed!
CS/Q: I want to add my chart, but I don’t know how to insert the fancy spoiler button. My temps are above the cover line and trending upward. I normally have a good or bad feeling about things, but not with this.
GTKY: I splashed burning water on my stomach while draining spaghetti. It was pretty wicked, but 3 years later there are no lasting reminders. It healed very well.
Testing: 6,7,8,9... I'm a glutton for heartache. I'm going to try to wait for Monday to test again.
R/R: DH and I are having day out! We hiked a new trail this morning and we are on the way to late lunch at a brewery I like. I wish my dry mouth would go away. I've had it four days and it's why I keep testing.
CS/Q: IDK
GTKY: A horse once threw me because he was scared of my water bottle. That was a good bruise.
R/R: Going to take a second look at the house we viewed last weekend. I think we're quite close to putting in an offer! I'm SOOO excited. The lot is beautiful and the house is a really great size, we wouldn't be running out of room (like, ever, and it's a place we could stay forever). As far as I'm concerned, this second check is for any fundamental wrongs (leaks, old roof, cracks in the foundation, etc.) and I'd be ready to offer. DH has some more "particular" ideas and this second look is really for him - he has a few more things to check out. I really hope he wants to move ahead!
CS/Q: nope, but it's in spoiler if anyone wants to stalk. Big temp dip today. (PS - FF still can't make up its mind about my O date )
GTKY: What's the dumbest way you've been injured? There's been a few really dumb ways I've been injured. One: I was doing a fish flop (start on your knees, roll over on your stomach, kick your legs over your head, and stand up). My joints are hypermobile and one time I did this and I dislocated my knee.
@fantasyflyte - yikes. Your not sure when I O'd looks like mine. Do you know when you usually O after a positive OPK? I put mine when I did because I always O the first day after a positive OPK. I'm prone to a slow rise so my first couple temps are typically low. If that's not the case for you, then I'd probably agree with your interpretation of O - you might have just had a longer surge. Do you usually get two days worth of positive OPK's? also, how was the show last night?
@catlady2015 it's hard to say because this is only my second month charting, but last mo th I did O the day after my first positive opk and had 2 days of positives. That same pattern would have me Oing Thursday CD25.
The show was great! We saw Dane Cook at the casino and even came out even on the slots!
@catlady2015 Ff is being really dumb. I totes hope it all means something good for you fx!

R/R: Had a house guest this weekend to interview for another film I'm working on with my husband.
CS/Q: no
GTKY: What's the dumbest way you've been injured? Last night, I used a knife to get the pit out of an avocado by stabbing it to push it out. I don't know why I thought it was a good idea. It slipped and went straight through the avocado to my hand. Thankfully (I know you're all in great suspense right now), it was a butter knife so my hand was only sore for a little while and no skin was broken.

@suzycupcake I was slicing an avacado at lunch today and the same thing... it went through the skin but I was using a spoon! I ALWAYS use a knife though.
I think I remember reading some crazy fact about kitchen accidents and avacados being responsible for many.
@galactickates Thanks and same to you. I think the worst part is that my husband was nearby so he gave me the side eye and lecture about safety that he always gives me and felt extremely vindicated for doing it this time

@catlady2015 Ohhh FX that everything works out with the house you guys are looking at!! It's so exciting!! Keep us updated! Our day in was nice! We played Mice and Mystics quite a bit and we watched Pitch Perfect 3.
@suzycupcake You had me so scared with that avocado story. If it had been a sharp knife....yikes!
@galactickates Oh my goodness, that wax story has me cringing!! That must have been horrible and so scary! Anything dealing with burns is on of my fears. So glad everything healed okay! I would worry of nerve damage.
