Romaine Lettuce Recall - PSA

Just thought it would be a good PSA - there's an e coli outbreak that has now expanded to 16 states and the CDC is recommending everyone not eat romaine lettuce right now and to throw what you have out!

I, of course, just had a hearty romaine lettuce salad two days in a row, but ok! Will do starting now!

    Just went to Denny's for lunch but couldn't get a salad because of this! They said they threw out all their lettuce and wont be buying more for a little while.

    @morgantu I have seriously eaten so much romaine in the last week it's crazy. I'm like...uh, great! 

    @asun123 Wow, crazy they're being so thorough and got rid of all of their lettuce! That's good though, I suppose - better safe than sorry!

    I live in San Diego. And they said their lettuce supplier was one affected by the E. coli

    So...green leaf and red leaf lettuce should be okay, right? 

    Also, I didn't see a full list of affected states, am I just missing it? I know the article listed the most affected states, but curious if mine is affected.
