napping in carseat

how long is too long to nap/sleep in the carseat? is it bad for them to stay in it too long? how's 2 hours?

    I think 2 hours is fine. My little guy has slept in the carseat overnight before.

    Well, some babies love to sleep all night in them. But I think a month or two ago someone posted an article about letting them sleep in car seats. Apparently it led to the deaths of several infants because it constricted their airway.

    Not to be negative nancy but that is just what I heard!

    Indifferent I just took my dd out of her carseat.....

    She loves to sleep in it....i guess that wont be happening anymore

    my ds only naps in his carseat.  he will wake up after 15 min anywhere else.  i think that it has to do with his positioning.  it kind of holds his arms and legs in so they dont accidentally flail and wake him up.  he gets all nestled in and loves it.
