I have no idea how, but I slept 9 hours straight and didn't wake up to use the bathroom at all. That hasn't happened in over 6 months and probably wont happen again. Small miracle!
My DH laughed a huge hearty laugh at about 4:30 am in his sleep. I, of course, was not. It was all I could do not to take it personally. You know, like he was laughing at my complete inability to get back to sleep after my 4:00 am pee break. I have a Tim Horton's coffee coming my way, and working from home, so he should be pampering me all day.

Weekend was fun here. Saturday we had our massages which was great. I was curious how it would change being a prenatal one and worried it wouldn't feel as good but it was still really nice. Afterwards we went to Cheesecake Factory for dinner *drools*. I hadn't been to one in years and it was so good. Then we saw Ready Player One which I really enjoyed. I never read the book so I can't compare it to that but anyone who likes game/movie references from the 80s-90s would enjoy it. Yesterday was mostly lazy after church. DH went to topgolf with his work friend to practice before their work golf thing later this week and I sat on the couch all afternoon haha. We did finally move the bed out of the baby's room and into the other guest room. Her dresser should be arriving this week so now the nursery can finally come together!
@elsie42 I had a prenatal massage this weekend too, which was so different from one I had previously. The relief I felt after the massage in my hips was so drastic that it convinced my husband to spring for massages for the rest of pregnancy. Now I just have to book them! I hope you felt similar relief.
@doxiemoxie212 - FFMC - I've never been to the Cheesecake Factory. But just seeing the word, I now REALLY want some cheesecake.

@rnielsen321 Aww maybe a nap is in order for today. Enjoy your Timmies - I got my fix while I was in Canada the other week but I still miss it.
@elsie42 Sounds like a nice weekend! All this massage talk makes me want to just go get one.
I totally agree about this stupid missing link. It’s how I got back to the main board. On top of that I switched from Samsung to iPhone last week and now the back button on the app is just so damn hard to use I have to spam it to get anywhere. It’s why I’ve been pretty quiet on here, it’s such a pain to use lately!
@doxiemoxie212 I think it's overpriced. And I really hate store bought cheesecake so, it does nothing for me. I make a mean cheesecake, and think every store bought cheesecake is inferior, lol. FFMC- I hate lemon in my cheesecake. Ew.
@May14th2011, homemade cheesecake for the win. My MIL makes an amazing cheesecake. I should ask her to bring one with her when she comes to meet the baby... yum.

@May14th2011 lol see I have no issue with the cheesecake factory’s prices. I have issue with the taste, portion size (o m g no one needs that much food in a serving) and general ambiance. It’s just so chaotic. But yea mostly I just think their food is gross.
@krashke I really only like this one particular cheesecake from a place called Comfort’s in the Bay Area. I think it’s their crust? And it’s not too creamy, if that makes sense. It’s sort of crumbly.
Today is the first day back from Spring Break. Its our movie reward day (they earn points through the marking period and can cash them in for certain rewards at the end) and while I have tons of other things I should be working on, I'm making an excel spreadsheet of things I want to buy off the registry with the 15% discount, to see if it adds to the $1000 to get the diaper reward. I'm at $700 ONLY because we're going to buy two more convertible car seats with the discount code, and i want the Spectra. Hopefully I can convince DH this is a good idea

+ ME to the no thanks to Cheesecake pile. I LOVE cheese. Love dessert. Just ick on the mouth feel of cheesecake. Literally will not eat it. No thanks. That and rice pudding, or tapioca pudding, or too eggy a dessert.
As for Cheesecake Factory... I have a thing about menus being too vast and portion sizes too big. Do something, do it well, and give me value for my $. (Hole in the wall or high end, don't care)

@sunshineandwhiskey I am the queen of rationalizing the spending of more money in order to save money. Just tell him that you are at $700 already and if you get $100 in free diapers then that's really only $900 which is only $200 more. Plus the $1000 is the total before the 15% off so really it's only $850 so really it's only $750 after the $100 back so really you're only spending another $50 to save $100.
Boom worth it.

@sunshineandwhiskey I checked to make sure because we finagled the completion discount by playing with the due date in order to buy the 2017 UB Vista before it sold out. We used the 15% on it and it was about $570 but on the purchases towards the baby bucks it shows as the full price of $671.

So many of you dislike cheesecake. I don't get it. I thought you understood me.
And no joke, I just got an email about a fundraiser for someone at work, and they're raffling off a cheesecake. I'm so tempted... (there are more than 2000 people that work here in some fashion and there's a fundraiser for someone almost every other week to help offset medical costs, funeral costs, or whatever else may be going on that someone would need funds for.)

@marcus7676 How was your weekend away? Did you end up getting to do some pregnant lady friendly activities??
Growing up in the midwest, Cheesecake Factory was a big deal. It was one of the places we'd go for a special occasion. I haven't been in years, but just looked up the menu to remind myself of my favorite entree (Crusted Chicken Romano) and I'd be happy to have that again. Agree, it is a lot of food though, and I usually ended up passing on the actual cheesecake.
Took tomorrow off for prenatal massage and a pedicure. Self-care Tuesday may also involve copious amounts of ice cream in various forms (sundae, milkshake, sandwich.)
@laceybee522 thanks for asking! I had a fantastic prenatal massage and ate ALL THE FOOD. Seriously, multiple donuts, scone, breakfast sandwiches (one day was a bacon, egg and cheese on a maple griddle cake), cinnamon bun, PLUS some fantastic foie gras (which probably wasn't pregnancy safe), suckling pig, grilled sheep's cheese and more. And I took a nap :-)
AFM, I think we are going to buy a new bed tonight. I’m excited because our current mattress is past it prime. Plus, I’m seriously hoping the memory foam helps with my hips going numb when I sleep.
I will gladly eat cheesecake for everyone who doesn't like it, it's my guilty pleasure for sure. And now I want the peanut butter fudge ripple cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory...their food is whatever, but that cheesecake got me like...
