Meh. Most of them are too cutsey, nn names for my taste, and I consider Kate as a middle cutsey too. There isn't anything wrong with them, I just don't care for them. And Caroline is also just neutral to me.
I think a full name would benefit her better come adulthood, but allow you cutsey nn while she's young.
Emma Kathrine nn Emma kate Josephine Kathrine nn Josie Kate Eleanor Kathleen nn Ellie Kate Millicent Caitlin nn Mille Kate
Caroline Elizabeth is our front runner. My inlaws are worried about her becoming “Carol.” Now, I only know 3 Caroline’s, but they have stayed “Caroline” and they are in their 30’s. Do Caroline’s usually become Carol/Carly/Cara etc?

If you want Millie, you can always go for Amelia... that's what I'm doing with mine! Amelia Rose but she'll mostly be Millie. I just want her to have something else that can fall back on if Millie doesn't fit her.
Also, my sister in law is a Caroline, but everyone calls her Carrie. I only learned her full name once she and my brother got engaged.
I dislike Josie and Millie because they are nicknames. I love the suggestion of Josephine and Amelia, and if those were choices I would pick them as favorites.
My #1 baby girl name is Josephine Elizabeth. DH doesn't like Josephine but likes Josie. I struggle - his point is that if you're going to call the baby Josie, name her Josie, plus it's shorter for her to write in the future. I consider Josephine a classic name, not overly popular, and one that will age well. My great grandmother and my great aunt were both named Josephine, one went by Josie so it's not a cutesy name to me. I also love the name Kate and think it's beautiful and classic. We have a Katelyn who I hope decides to go by Kate in the future.

@drurose You said exactly what I came to say! My daughter’s name is Amelia Rose nn Millie. And my sister’s name is Carolyn but sometimes goes by Carrie.
Caroline Elizabeth-classic and cute Ellie Kate- I prefer Ellie as a nick name for names like Eleanor...maybe Eleanor Kate? Emma Kate-As a teacher, I would just say no to Emma based on popularity. But if you really love the name- go for it! Josie Elizabeth? Kate?- Not a fan of Josie Millie Kate- I don't mind Millie as a stand alone name, but Camille Elizabeth perhaps? Or Camilla Kate?
