Re: WTO Weekend Sat/Sun April 7-8th
Month/Cycle: 1/1
CD: ?
WAYDTGKU: pnv, bbt
R/R: I’m extremely irritable today for some reason. DH is already on my nerves about needing a Ring video doorbell TODAY. We’ve been without a working doorbell for over a year and without video monitoring for always. I don’t need every aspect of my home to be techy.
CS/Q: -
GTKY: How many points do you get from the table? (In spoiler as it’s huge)
I’m easy. 1 or 2, being liver and maybe snails (never had the opportunity but would probably try escargot given the chance).
CD: 13
WAYDTGKU: Trying on our own before next month’s IVF#4
R/R: DH is unsettled today. It’s like he doesn’t know what to do. I made the mistake of suggesting we take some things to the recycling place. Well that was obviously not what he wanted to do - even though he doesn’t know what he wants to do. It did mean we made two trips and have emptied the stuff to throw away out of the garage. But now he’s back to wandering round, starting things for a few minutes then wandering again. I have a huge list of potential jobs. But I’m not suggesting anything else in a hurry today
CS/Q: - Well FF woke up and smelt the roses today. I’ve got a peak on my CBAD, a positive OPK, EWCM, HSO and some O pains. So if I get temp rises the next few days, then that will give me O today or tomorrow. Right on track.
GTKY: Ketchup, blue cheese, peanut butter, sourdough bread, tofu, Brussel sprouts, liver, peas, wheat bread - so that makes 9. Though 20 years ago I would have had 30 items I would not eat. So maybe in another 20 years I’ll eat everything!
@meggyme my DH also gets a bee in his bonnet about certain things all of a sudden. Normally long after I’ve given up hope of him fixing it. He started making floor to ceiling shelves in our old apartment and we had the wood for the doors in our hallway for more than two years - then we moved house and so the shelves were never finished! It drove me crazy to step around the doors every day...
Also we agreed to get security cameras when we moved here 18 months ago. We could have got some cheap ones where there’s a small monthly fee to store the footage. No. We have to get one that saves to our own hard drive. And is all fancy. Which means I’m reality I’m still waiting.

WAYDTGKU: Decided to try on our own this cycle before injectable IUI#3
R/R: It is a lovely day here! We ran into our neighbors at the store & chatted a while. The husband cracked a poop joke. I knew from that moment he’d be friends w/ MH
CS/Q: Nope. Lots of red days make an in interesting chart!
GTKY: 1- olives. 2 if you could ketchup (I am allergic to tomatoes). I don’t seek out grapefruit, though would eat it if it was necessary.
@Whitmore1027 I saw that on your post the other day! That’s certainly scary. But like I told my husband, you buy the Ring then you have to subscribe to the service otherwise if someone swipes a package or something, great you saw it but you don’t have any recording of it. It’s another monthly expense we don’t need.
I think I did post in that days WTO, plus low AMH and TTC - but maybe not on the IF thread as there was too much drama.
Short version - karotyping showed us nothing we didn’t already know. All other tests only confirmed what we already knew. I’m just waiting on one more feedback from the haematologist. The RE will talk directly with the haematologist and my rheumatologist end of this next week. He wants me off my normal meds and on Intralipids and steroids but needs to align timing and dosage with the Rheumatologist.
The great thing in hindsight with having a theee month break is that most of my other levels eg Vit D, thyroid etc that were low are now in normal range. I mean they should be - I take about 30 pills a day!!!
The big question is how many eggs and what quality they are, as a lot of months have passed....

@prpl11butterfly Hugs for you. I would personally start on cd8 just to make sure your bases are covered. That's what I'm told to do with treatment cycles.
I hear ya @meggyme My husband has been on a mission to do the same stuff. We are getting a whole new security system. It makes more sense to get rid of adt because all they do is call the police for you when we could do that, but he is like super anxiety ridden about it. It drives me bonkers!

WAYDTGKU: nothing, benched this cycle
R/R: I am pretty sure I o'ed today, which is early and I hope it doesn't mess with our ability to try next cycle. My LP is usually 15 days, but was only 13 last cycle. My surgery is 4/26, so as long as I get pathology results quick, we are okay, but I feel like that stuff usually takes at least a week. But, this cycle and last cycle have not been normal for me, so maybe I will not O as early.
CS/Q: - More a comment than a question, and I plan to do research. I know there are ways to lengthen your LP, but I am guessing that is something that takes time, not something I can start mid cycle.
GTKY: How many points do you get from the table? 0, I think the only thing on there I have not had is snail, mainly because it has never been presented to me. I have hear escargot is butter and delicious, so I would love to try it, but DH is an incredibly picky eater, so I doubt I will ever go somewhere to try it.
@prpl11butterfly, I would probably start at cd 8 too. This is my 3rd cycle after my loss (1 was on BCP though, so it doesn't really count) and I O'ed at CD 13 last month and probably CD 11 this month. This is early for me, so I could have easily missed my positive OPK this month.
My temp did not rise, so maybe I am wrong, but my thermometer is being dumb, ie, when I tried a 2nd reading , it was a degree lower. Maybe today is O day, who knows.

@holly321 It took about six weeks to see a significant improvement after I started taking a heavy duty B complex supplement
@prpl11butterfly I agree with @suzycupcake that I would start CD8 with OPKs just in case. Actually I start around then every month, though I never Od that early before, but that’s also because I use both advanced and normal ones, so with the advance I like to watch for the point when the estrogen rise is first detected.
Month/Cycle: 37/35

WAYDTGKU: Waiting for a star to fall...
R/R: Well we had a bit of a dramatic lunch. DH was making home made schnitzel (it’s almost impossible to get gluten and lactose free ones in restaurants). Somehow he managed to catch the edge of the pan of oil (before the schnitzels were in) and it flipped and showered him with boiling oil. There were even flames for a second. Most of the oil went down the front of DHs pants and on the floor. I had visions of him being burnt by the oil, but as his pants were loose and we were fast to get them off he seems to have escaped completely unscathed. His pants will probably go in the bin however. He was so so lucky. My heart rate has not yet returned to normal. I think I might need a bar of chocolate to help me recover...
CS/Q: Temp on the rise again today, got a second Peak day on the CBAD which is very rare for me (second time in theee years) so thinking late today might be O as my LH seemingly hadn’t started to drop off yet this morning. Next few days temps will tell.
