@catlady1215 i felt exactly like the today and Sunday. I was like this isn’t regular kicks it felt like the baby was completely adjusting or turning with a kick start. As far as peeing i just go every hour when I’m at work to avoid an accident. Sometimes if i sit too long and get up the heaviness makes me feel like i need to run to the bathroom.
@2589 Lol right!? I was on the phone with my mum last night and - without thinking - went up the stairs. You'd swear I'd just done a run. My mum smoked while pregnant, so she chalked shortness of breath to that lol
@amys614 yes, she pushes outward all the time. It reminds me of when you lay down with a dog and they press against you with their feet, haha.
@2589 and @MissKittyDanger hahaha, the other day I called one of my attendings while walking from the 4th floor back to the 2nd floor and to our office, and he goes "are you running? sure you're getting enough air in??"
+1 to baby just pushing on me. I feel like they are constantly stretching out. I can feel them up by my ribs on the right side and down by my hip on the left side at the same time.
Also what do hiccups feel like? Everyone keeps telling me I will know it when I feel them but how will I know if I don't know what to look for? Everything feels different all the time lol

Mine definitely pushes outward too. Earlier I swear both her head and her butt were pushing out on either side of me. And now I can feel more fluid movements vs just punches and kicks.
@krashke I don't know if I'm right but what I *think* are hiccups are when I feel tiny kick-like movements that are too gentle to be her kicks and they happen at constant intervals (like every few seconds)
@krashke I think hiccups are more rhythmic? I feel like I knew what were hiccups around 20 weeks, but now there's just too much movement. It's all over the place. There might be hiccups too, but I can't figure it out with both feet kicking at once on different sides of my belly and little hands grabbing and pinching simultaneously.
@krashke I can't figure out what are hiccups either. When I was hooked up to the monitors last weekend one of them had the hiccups. I could only tell because a) the nurse pointed it out; and b) there was a rhythmic thumping on the doppler. I couldn't feel anything when he/she had them.
IMO baby hiccups are super cute at first and then super annoying...DD got them all the time in utero and this little guy is trying to outdo her. They are more rhythmic and usually go on for a minute or two (or sometimes more) and feel like if you were to have hiccups in your pelvic area...it's really fun when they're resting on your pelvis or sacrum and you can literally feel the little hiccup vibration in your groin or butt when you're sitting
So much shortness of breath (rolling over in bed, bending down to pick up DS's toys, walking uphill). DH keeps asking me if I'm okay. I'm like, "this is just how I breathe right now!".
As baby gets bigger, my stomach is starting to get squished. Last time, near the end, I could only eat small meals because I would get full really fast (and heartburn...yuck). I'm at a weird point now where I eat a regular amount but then get a stomach ache a few minutes later because I'm overly full.
I should clarify if baby is not head down yet you can feel the hiccups anywhere, but sometimes they're a little less noticeable up higher when they're moving around
@krashke friend of mine recorded her LO hiccuping, and if you can see it outside belly then it just looks like jumping. As if you had the hiccups was the best way should could explain what it looks like
@catlady1215 I peed the bed this morning from a kick straight the bladder followed up by a sneeze right after. Weirdest thing ever. Luckily DH was already at work so I just stripped the sheets to put in the wash and texted DH to switch it when he gets home so we have fresh sheets tonight (even though we just washed over the weekend)
@aharv77 I've done opposite - not enough to change anything - but snissing is legit annoying lmao If he questions what happened, use my sentence "what I'm hearing .... is a lot of judgement" {what I say when my H asks me if I'm "eating that/again" lol}
LO keeps pushing a foot - assuming foot if she's still head down like last we saw - out just under my ribs. She hasn't made it to the ribs {thank gawd!} but she's close .... stay down little miss!
I lot struggled to catch my breath last night IN BED. It freaked DH out. He kept saying “are you ok” “you sound like someone in the movies gasping for their last breaths” he kept telling me to turn and change positions not realizing the turning make me lose my breath as well. We settled for me resting in a modified child’s pose where my stomach hovered over the mattress. I did that for a couple minutes and it helped, but obviously getting back in position to sleep made me lose my breath again. Steps are out of the question.
I try to remember the trials from first tri and how I got through them, so I will get through this. BUT this is crazy. It literally gets worst DAILY. I can’t wear shoes, I’m in a men’s size 10 house slipper. The swelling is painful and Ive tried everything within 3 hours of waking up they are balloned again. The pain in the inside of my left leg and thigh is unbearable. I literally struggled to get off the toilet this morning. And i had DH put random chairs around the house weeks ago in case i needed to sit or grab something to pull myself up. But dude i feel like I’m 2 weeks away from crawling and 4 weeks from bed rest, not from early labor but lack of mobility.
@krashke hiccups are definitely rythmic, occuring at set intervals. My LO just started with them the other day. I feel them super low, but they kind of feel like they are in my butt given the way the baby must be facing. As an FYI, just because you might feel them up high, it doesn't mean that the baby is breech - - sometimes, you can feel their whole bodies hiccuping.
To me hiccups feel like hiccups would under water in your butt/pelvis. Like was mentioned above, they start out cute and then as time goes on you're like, "oh not again."
Are baby hiccups much faster in rhythm than adult hiccups? I have something going on now that I would guess is hiccups. I've never had it before, but it feels pretty fast.
@ffw0617 I have had some consecutive days like that where I feel like my body isn’t possibly going to hold out 9ish more weeks, followed by a series of days where I feel much more decent again. I hope your body will ease up a bit for your sake!
You guise!!! I think I felt hiccups! It was almost like my bump had a pulse but not as fast as a pulse. I tried to get Mh it feel it but he couldn’t feel it on the outside.

I've been hearing a snagging/popping in my lower belly. At first I thought I was imagining it, then I thought whoa am I literally hearing my bump grow? Turns out there could be many reasons but man is it wild!
Edit-forgot to add I've also fallen victim to Charley horses /leg cramps two nights in a row waking me from a dead sleep!
@ffw0617 I hope things get a little better for you! I definitely am feeling like my body can't feel any worse and yet I know it probably will.
I don't think I've felt any hiccups yet. Or maybe I have and I just didn't realize that's what was happening.
I definitely have extremely swollen feet/legs/ankles now though. Like they just throb. I know it's because of my job and the heat, but it's pretty brutal. I felt so guilty today, but I was at orangutans all day and had to literally sit down in the middle of what I was doing for like a good 10 minutes. I don't think anyone judged me, but I felt so bad. I just can't hang with this manual labor anymore. Two more days until my weekend and then I'm literally sitting with my feet up for 48 hours straight!

Ugh who is getting nosebleeds? I just woke up to blow my nose, then felt something wet on my hand (still dark in our room) and there was blood pouring out if my nose! I’ve never experienced such a thing. Like, I think I need a new sheet.
@pupsicle23 I had a mini one a couple of weeks back after walking the dog! I've had bloody snot since the first tri (strangely mostly from my left nostril) but it's totally normal and common during pregnancy.
@pupsicle23 same here as @silvergreen anytime I blow my nose (which is practically every morning this pregnancy), there's blood. And for me, it's mostly my right. Been happening since 1st tri.

New for me last night, thought I was going to throw up after I rolled over onto my right side (maybe I rolled too fast?). Also could've been the massive dinner I had at Cheesecake Factory coming back to bite me lol. Luckily I never threw up but I legit thought I was going to for like 20 minutes.
Re: Symptoms [April]
I don't really have any new symptoms, but definitely +1 on the shortness of breath. I sometimes catch myself heavily breathing. LOL.
Also- I can't imagine my belly.coukd possibly stretch anymore! Everything feels so tight!

SPD the same, which I'm thankful for. At least it's not gotten worse. Maybe I'm just getting used to being in pain every day, who knows.
@pupsicle23 glad everything checked out. Hope you're feeling better!
