Thise playmats are so cute! We have the kick n play, which is super obnoxious, and another annoying bright starts one that I just remembered and need to find.

Most-used baby gear:
- A special little unbreakable mirror for babies (mine hated tummy time but he LOVED the mirror and would tolerate being on his belly for a couple more minutes when it was out).
- Nuna Leaf "bouncer" that sways gently back and forth - in fact we still use it. He sits there to watch TV and leaf through books now, but it was a great place for chillin' when he was wee.
- Pack 'n' Play. He is 2 and we still use it as his crib. Great multi-purpose piece of gear for tiny apartment living. Easy to clean. We even managed to get pink vomit (he had been eating beets) cleaned off of it.
- Inglesina table chair. Another space saver as it attaches to our table but we can still keep a regular chair there when he isn't sitting in it. I love that it literally brings him to the table to eat with us. It's also super portable.
- Loopfiets. I don't know what this is called in English, ha. It's a little bike for toddlers. Ours goes from tricycle to bicycle form depending on your toddler's age and stage. He loves it now, but he was OBSESSED before he could walk. He would use it as a kind of tool to get around the apartment. The one we have is super cute too. Angels & Bandits Brand.
- Yepp brand bicycle seat for the front of your bike. If you like to go for bike rides (or use a bike to get around), this is an awesome option. The material doesn't get hot in the sun, and my little guy absolutely loves when we go on the bike.
- White noise! We used a portable speaker and played ocean and rain noises on it. I'd bring it with us when we were out and about to help him sleep in strange places. We still use it for noisy holidays, when we are on vacation sharing a room, and when neighbors are having a party. Really seemed to help him understand when it was time to sleep, though he doesn't need it anymore.
We didn't get much use from:
- Our jumper. But my son wasn't an active guy. He didn't walk until age 1.5.
- Rocking horses. No interest??!!
- Play mat. He hated tummy time and wanted to be on his back to look up at the toys, so I switched to a regular blanket...
