1st week of Sept. EDD check in- April

If you are due between September 1 and 7, check in here! How are you feeling? Any upcoming appointments? I suck at questions so if someone wants to post a GTKY, go for it! Also, we’ll hit the halfway mark this month so here is a gif to celebrate (dinosaurs are in honor of my anatomy scan today since the LO looked like a dino at one point)!

I’m 18.5 weeks today and feeling fairly good, except the tailbone pain which I am expecting to get worse. I had my anatomy scan today which went pretty well. The baby wouldn’t cooperate for all the photos so I see I already have a troublemaker on my hands. He weighs 8oz and is right on track for growth. I’m just waiting for my OB to review the images but so far, so good.

After a week and a half of knowing it’s a boy, we probably have a name. I’m so relieved as this was one of my biggest worries about having a boy (DH and I couldn’t agree on ANYTHING and I thought it would take the rest of my pregnancy to decide).

17+3 today. Little larva is definitely growing. Midwife check up tomorrow, and anatomy scan in two weeks. I get twice as many appointments because I have two separate care providers.

Feeling big and off balance, plus already have the SPD pain and general squished guts/lungs and rib pain from lack of space. I know that sounds ridiculous, but it started at 19 weeks last time, so not shocking to me. It'll get worse, but not much I can do. Sitting down at all will be very uncomfortable by 31 weeks if last time is any indication.

Hoping to open the name discussion tonight...we'll see. We have so come up with girl and boy names, and my lovely husband offers nothing.

I'm 17w6d and feeling pretty good. I feel like I've finally gained some energy. Slight freak-out yesterday morning when I woke up with my right side of my face numb from my eyebrow to my bottom lip. Diagnosed with Bells Palsy at the emergency room and hope to recover fully in 2 weeks! Heartburn is my biggest pain right now but other than that, I don't have much to complain about. I have an appointment next Monday but it's just a check-up!

I’m 17+6 today and feeling pretty decent overall. Lower back pain is now a pretty regular thing throughout the day but it’s especially bad at night. Still taking nausea meds. Recently started on baby aspirin since we’re watching closely for pre-e.

Anatomy scan is a week from today and I can’t help but be nervous. My bump popped out early with this being my second, but it hasn’t changed a ton since. I’m hoping that’s normal. I feel soft little kicks from time to time so hopefully they’ll become more regular and put my mind at ease.

    Still havent told work! LOL
Maybe I will at the end of this week/next week.

18 weeks today! Still feeling primarily good but exhausted most of the time. Next week I have my ultrasound, and I’m excited to finally see baby.

I feel kind of bad about the fact that I’m still not super emotional - I know it’s common and it’s ok, but like, last time I was at the doctor and they let me hear the heartbeat, I think she expected me to get teary-eyed. At that point I was already annoyed with my dr’s office so I felt like “Good, he’s in there, that’s what I wanted to know and now I’m leaving.” I feel uncomfortable when DH touches my belly even though it’s sweet. Maybe when I see him I’ll have that magical moment, or maybe I’ll have to wait to meet him in person haha. I’m done stressing and feeling guilty over it - I know I’ll love my baby so it’s all good!

Still behind and unprepared at home, but we’re going to start working on the room that will be the nursery soon, and I’ll start figuring out what to buy. I’m having a really bizarre moment of “Everything’s going to be fine!” punctuating my normally anxious, neurotic demeanor. Just gonna go with it.

@cbobell2009 my cousin got that last year and it was so out of the blue! Hoping you have a quick recovery from it!

@ashh2018 I’m not feeling that emotional about it yet either... with my first I went to a “connecting with your baby class” and they had everyone mediate. After they went around in a circle and everyone else (literally everyone) said something about how their baby spoke to them... and I had to make some crap up. I still don’t feel like a “mom” in the same way I thought I would, but I love my kid more than I can explain in words. My point is, some people just don’t get emotional about it, or maybe it will hit you at a random time. Everyone is different and there is no right or wrong way.

18W/3D over here with a Sept. 1 Due date. Curious if this baby will be an August baby or September baby. Nervous that I will give birth on the first day of school for our son. (September 3rd). So we will just wait and see.
Switch over from my family doctor to my OB next week. Need to book my anatomy scan ASAP, hopefully I will get that done in the next 10 days because we are leaving for Florida/Disney on April 14th.
I’m in an awkward bump stage. Morning it’s very small. Evening I’m popping out. Trying to
buy summer clothes for Florida heat has been challenging at this stage. Everything I projected to wear is still too big but I’m sure will be perfect in the summer here in Ontario.
Been feeling some random flutters here and there but nothing consistent yet. Didn’t feel them for a long time with my son because of the placenta placement.
I’ve been starting to have some mild heartburn, ligament pain and leg cramps lately. But I will take that over nausea. Most of the day I feel great.

    I'm 18 weeks, 2 days today.

How are you feeling? I have as second round of MS, it may not be everyday as it was in the first trimester, but when I do have it, it lasts all day. I feel worse than I did in the first trimester. I still have no bump, but my stomach has been super tight for a few weeks. I've been told by friends that I may not have an in between period and when I do "pop," it will literally happen overnight. Right now, I just feel like I have a food baby. Feeling a little overwhelmed because we have yet to purchase anything yet for baby. My best friend has purchased all of the clothing the child will need for the first six months and a blanket but other than that, baby has nothing.

Any upcoming appointments? April 18th is the big one. Anatomy scan and more blood drawn. If DH comes to the appointment, we will be finding out what we're having and keeping it a surprise from everyone until delivery. I've been on the fence about finding out, and have decided to go for it.

I’m 18+1 today. Feeling good. Check up on Friday. A/S isn’t until the end of the month. Being Team Green this time has me so meh on scheduling the ultrasounds. It’s funny how much it doesn’t matter to me when we go. With my other two kids, we were in for ultrasounds asap because we were finding out sex.

I felt full on kicks the other day. DH felt them, too. I love them!

18 weeks and feeling good! Intermittent nausea and vomiting with some random retching, but nothing horrible.

I thought I felt little twinges within the past few weeks, but I’ve definitely started feeling this little peanut move! Not major or anything, but if I’m still, I can feel some rolling and a few little flutters - these movements are maybe one of my favorite things in the world!

I am super excited for my anatomy scan scan on the 20th. We are going to find out gender and I honestly can’t tell you if I would prefer one over the other - I’m truly just so thankful for this baby. Another girl would be so fun, but it would also be amazing to get to experience raising a son. I need to pinch myself I feel so lucky!

Yesterday my 5 year old left me a love note by my bed and it was a complete drawing of our family, complete with both the “x-ray” of our baby (in the circle next to Daddy) and again of the baby in my tummy (bottom row). These little treasures are so precious!!

18  weeks and 1 day today. I had an ultrasound yesterday and I found out we are team blue! It's the first boy in three generations. Everything else looked really good. I am starting to feel a little fluttering but I can't wait till I can actually feel the kicks.  I am exhausted but luckily I don't have MS anymore. Just waiting for this burst of energy I keep hearing about lol. I never got it with my first one but hoping I will get it this time.

18 + 4 today, only one week until my anomaly scan. I have been able to feel baby move for 4 weeks now but this last week they have got much stronger and for much larger portions of the day. My belly has popped this week I can now feel where the baby is positioned  in my stomach and how it moves about during the day.

About 10 days ago my baby moved from being lowdown on my stomach lying sideways then overnight was lying vertically and up to my belly button. So it can defiantly happen quick. Look out for a lot of round ligament pain I had quite a lot of it from about 2 days before it moved.

@megnwingate Crossing fingers for you and baby, hoping it's just BH. I hear they can start earlier with second babies, but with preemie history I know how scary that can be.

I hear you. I'm sorry. They told me I was having BH, but I wasn't. Born at 35+4. Unfortunately they didn't take my breath away until I was 7 cm-so didn't get much listening to. Fingers crossed. Sounds like a L&D trip might be coming, though I hope not.

Sending calming vibes to your uterus, @megnwingate ! I wouldn't hesitate to call triage instead of waiting until Monday, just in case they have any recommendations. FX

So many BH going on this time. I didn’t get them until 30+ with DS. Probably around 20-25 with DD. 19+ with this one.
