@sammierose464 typically in a cloth diaper, the liners you use are reusable and you wash them with the diapers. ETA: I had a brain fart and see you meant disposable liners instead of inserts. Ignore me.

I've actually been meaning to start a cloth diaper thread, but wasn't sure how much interest there would be. I'll go ahead and start one so we can have all our questions in one place!
@sammierose464 if your baby is exclusively breast fed the poops are water soluble, so it seems gross but it can just go straight in the washer. Once DS started solids we installed a diaper sprayer and spray the poop off into the toilet before washing. Now that he’s older his poops are mostly “ploppable” and just come right off the diaper cleanly without the need to spray them. It’s really not that bad!
@sammierose464 also if you use fleece liners poop doesn't stick to them as much as the rest of the diaper. It helps contain the mess and makes clean up waaaay easier
I was given a baby food maker and is was great knowing what was in my son's food.
I made the homemade wipes with receiving blankets when I got home from the hospital, but I didn't know they had to be sewn. They still worked and I still have them. My mom bought a bunch of baby wash cloths to use, so I have a mix.
I also made the body butter I used on myself the whole pregnancy and the nipple cream.
The only thing I wish I hadn't made was this crochet hat, diaper cover and booties set cause DS ended up being much bigger than planned.
@RosieMommy2016 that is the same recipe I use! I love it. I remove the extra oil component as I find the coconut oil enough. Otherwise it can be pretty oily and greasy.
